Cary (the owner) came in with the first of several estimates. Of the contractors I contacted, he best understood what I wanted. My house had rotting window frames, uneven bad-looking shake shingle siding that was long past the day I should have done something about it. A house down the street had the look I wanted, and Cary quoted me the price. I also asked about replacing my front and side doors. The siding color I wanted was a special order, so I had to wait a couple weeks for it to be made. It was well worth the wait. Lifetime supplied a brand called "Perfection" and it is truly perfect siding. The siding sections lock together in a way that I don't think even a hurricane would loosen them. All the rotted wood was replaced with Azek trim. The result is my 70-year-old run-down house now looks like a new build. The doors that leaked cold air during the winter are gone. I am very satisfied.

They then said they could come and give free estimate and the technician would be out between 1:00 and 3:00 on set date and would call 1/2 hour prior to coming. The day came and went, no call, no show. Called company and scheduler knew exactly who I was and asked if I received a call. I advised no call was received and she said the technician actually called her and said he had a family emergency and had to leave. She then advised me to find another company because he was the only technician and she has no idea when he's coming back. Absolutely awful.

I called many local chimney companies in the area with no luck of getting the Cap reinstalled. Luckiely a neighbor saw a Countryside Stove truck in the area. Requested help with back draft on water heater, chimney inspection, possible negative in house…read morepressure. He looked at the water heater, got it to heat up, and stated my vents were not the problem. Stating my concern was carbon monoxide detector repeatedly going off asked him to inspect the chimney. Again he stated that was unnecessary. There were concerns of negative air pressure from newly installed hood vent. Was installed after the issues started, within 2 weeks of his appointment. Not the cause. He was not interested in checking my chimney or vents. He stated i should call heating and cooling specialist, who i have had out and had another I had phone consult with, referring me to have my vents and chimney checked. I know my chimney needs to be repointed at the very least. Anyway, he didnt want to go on my roof just referr me elsewhere .
