Great Service!! We recently had a new gas fireplace installed by American Eagle and I would highly recommend them. We were satisfied with the entire processes. Jeff in the storefront was super knowledgeable and gave us great options to replace our existing unit. We also purchased a new concrete mantel from them. Tom, the owner, was prompt for all appointments he had at our home to measure and evaluate how to run the new gaslines, etc. He walked us through everything that would be done. On the day of install, the team who did the work were professional, efficient, and very clean throughout the process. We want contractors that perform the work as if it was being done in their own home. We are always cautious when working with someone new. We decided to replace our old Home Depot special set with a quality play set from American Eagle. My son was thrilled to help design it- he picked out that hammock swing for me and I can almost get out of it without help! We ordered it toward the end of the winter season, and they kept us up to date on where we were on the list to get built as soon as the ground was less soaked. They came right around when they had estimated, and showed up with a team that had it together fairly quickly. One of the workers went through everything with me. They had noticed that the tire swing rings seemed too short, so they came back to switch them (no charge.) There was a little hiccup and they left the part of the swing set they have agreed to remove even after I double checked. They also made a comment about how "there would be imperfections in the wood,"but if I cared about that I "would've gone with vinyl." (Don't wood shame me! That's what he said.) read more

I had requested to change over my fireplace from gas to a gas insert with heat. Long story short, the heater wasn't really working well after being inserted. Tom and his team came out a couple of times to see what the issue was. After much disappoint with the unit, we went back to just a gas insert without heater (new insert). I really didn't like the way the fireplace looked with the new heater either. After they made the change with the new the gas insert (which looks like a real fire) it gas off heat. Tom and his team were great to work with and made sure I was happy. I highly recommend them. read more

They were helpful and friendly right from the second we walked in the door to shop and learn about the different inserts available. Tom was so informative about the three options once he came out and measured and saw the house and even talked with my dad on the phone in New Jersey. The impeccable customer service didn't stop or falter all the way through installation. The installation guys were as friendly and helpful as the people in the store. I had American Eagle come out on 5/22/19 initially because my gas fireplace glass really needed cleaned. I asked for the first appointment of the day so I could get to work. I think it was John who called around 7am that morning to notify me he was on his way. He was there around 715am and not only cleaned the fireplace that was full of cobwebs and dust but inspected it, checked for gas leaks, inspected the burner and firebox for cracks and metal fatigue, checked the pilot assembly and valve, cleaned the glass and re embered the fireplace to get the glowing look of embers. He replaced the batteries in the remote that I can now use again. He cleaned up after himself and the fireplace looks amazing. Thank you! read more

From the moment we walked in the showroom to just look at inserts, to the estimate to the install everyone was absolutely respectful and knowledgeable. Wow! The only thing I can say is get a gas insert from them. They are very customer service oriented....actually one, if not the best in customer service. Not only did they have the best price, they knew that my old gas key was leaking. Before installation, they set me up with a contractor who fixed it quickly. Had 2 Units serviced on 10/22/2020. Always a bad sign when the technician cannot figure out how to open one of the units. He cleaned the first unit fine, a Hunter fireplace. He admitted he had no knowledge regarding how to open the Osburn unit to give it a full servicing. Pretty sure I shared the brand of fireplaces when they accepted the service job. Plus, I shared the Osburn was not working and might need repair. So why send someone with no knowledge of this type of fireplace. Guess it is service if they wipe the outside of the unit and do a little vacuuming and still charge you a service fee when they couldn't even open up the unit to provide a real service. I appreciate their call referring us to another vendor, honestly, should have stated up front they did not have the expertise on staff to service an Osburn unit. So, I give them 3 stars for half the service, not repair, just half the service on 1 of two units. Lesson learned, ask twice if they are certain their technician has mechanical knowledge about the brand of your fireplace . read more

I have worked with Tom and his staff on a play set, water slide, wood burning stove, chimney sweep, and even replacement parts on the stove (that I broke) and have only positive things to say. Very easy to work with, flexible with schedule changes and overall great knowledge about their products. They don't try and sell you things you don't need and at one point Tom even told me not to get an accessory on the stove as it was "not worth it"...to me that is amazing customer service.
