I had 2 services done with this company, both for flea treatment because the first one still had fleas all over the place and the second worked out great. My issue was since the affected room was so infested I wasn't able to occupy it, but had it well decorated before. when I was finally able to move myself and other items back into the room(bed etc.) I was shocked when I noticed some items were MISSING! Now, I work like a dog with no time to call in, but when I did(admittedly awhile *2-4 months* after service) call I got told by the answering agent(a sweetheart) that the person was no longer employed but that I'd get a call back from the GM. A week passed before I got a call back and the GM was not only incredibly dismissive but also had an attitude ' NO MA'AM, there's NOTHING we can do. ' " well ok can you potentially give me the contact. for the employee so I can use it for a police report? " ' NO. ' awkward silence... " ok. Is there anything you can do to help me out here? " ' No.' " ok " ' OK.' hangs up. It was extremely disappointing to hear how they addressed me and I want nothing to do with that GM and the company as a whole now. One of their solicitors came to my door last night After I repeatedly said I wasn't interested (literally at least 10 times), mainly because I have a contract which I'm satisfied with, he continually talked over me, and refused to take no for an answer. I was visiting a friend today and all of a sudden his cat started running around and went into his closet and hid! My friend heard a machine outside and we saw several workers outside wearing a full HazMat suit and was attached to what looked like a leaf blowing machine but it was blowing something that must have been a chemical because whatever it was formed a cloud when it came out. We tried to find out what the chemical was in case his cats reacted to it, but whomever answered the phone seemed cooperative and said she would get somebody to help him and put him on hold.; she came back and stated that she couldn't tell him the names of any chemicals because it was confidential!. He was then switched 3X & disconnected several times ; when he called back nobody would pickup the phone. The call was on speaker phone and I heard everything, but nobody would help. He had to go to work after washing the cats, closing all windows, & vacuuming the rugs and walls, and nobody was home to check on the cats. I was really surprised that a company this large would act so irresponsible and not talk to neighboring homes before they sprayed some type of chemical & not answer a concerned pet owner about what was used. They directed him to talk to his neighbor, but when he told her they don't get home until after six, she had no solution. We needed someone right away since our house was being taken over by ants. It was 3:30 in the afternoon, everyone we called said first an inspector would have to come then we would have to talk to sales then they could address the problem. My contract started frm 2021-04-30 And it is a 12 month agreement due to some personal reason i had to stop the service. So i called today , the guy said he will put a 30days notice , but i will see another charge at the end of may. But my next regularly scheduled service is july. I mean as below is their writen agreenment. As its been said unless either party provides a written notice of termination at least thirty (30) days before the next regularly scheduled service.---- I mean i have no problem of their service it is just due to personal reasons.plus when you signed up they just tell you how easy to cancel but i just looked into the contract it require a written notice ? The final word, just call asap when you decide to stop the service to avoid any unpleasant charges.. as well as the conversations. Tyrese called me an hour before and even went out of his way to text me with an update indicating he'd be at my place in 10 minutes. Tyrese was punctual, professional and extremely informative with every question I had (I had a lot of em). He went out of his way to fill holes and crevices to make sure mice/rats couldn't make it into the property and made sure to educate me as to measures I could take aside from the traps and measures he took. I signed up for their monthly service and am excited to finally get rid of this pest problem that's been bothering me since I moved in. They make a lot of promises such as "money back guarantee" and unlimited service till the problem is solved. The reality is once they sign you up the bill you monthly and the service you receive is done haphazardly and by surly "professionals" when you complain or they make you go in circles to reach a professional and still charge you. when you dispute payments and complain about service they put you into a collection service and are not above manipulating credit card data such as expiration dates to criminally charge your accounts i have reported this company to the police, the better business bureau and the attorney general of new york state if this company spent as much time solving the pest issue as they doing chasing spurious charges. they wouldn't have 299 bbb complaints and a two star rating. read more

They treated our home on Monday for yellowjackets. The next day we were seeing a lot more of them, we called back and they reported this was normal as they died off. Wednesday, there were less. Thursday, none. I thought, great! Nope. Friday afternoon, I get home and there are even more yellowjackets to begin with swarming in my BEDROOM. To make it more exciting, they're now attacking me when I try to go into the room. So I can't get MY CLOTHES, laptop charger, use the bathroom in that part of the house, SLEEP IN MY BED. It is also against the Town of Oyster Bay ordinace to 1- solicit without a permit and 2- solicit a residence with a NO Soliciting sign posted. In a weak moment I signed up for pest control with the Fox representative who buttonholed me one day in May on my front lawn, even though I've never seen any evidence of termites or whatever gnawing away at my house in the fifty years I've been here (the house has a cedar frame). I, being a lax bookkeeper, didn't realize that every month since that initial signup (for which I allowed $300 to be removed from my account; I have a printout of the receipt) an amount of $60 would be taken out as well. When I went to the Fox website to log in and check the contract, my username was not recognized and there seemed to be no way to reset it (!). Looks like I'll have to give up my nightly indulgence of coffee Haagen-Dazs for a decade or so--and just when I need it most. Called for 1 reason... Yellow Jacket issue. I was happy they could come that day for just under$300, and I was convinced to sign a contract. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT. They will smooth talk you into a contract, and it will be 24 months at $72/ month. If you want out before 24 months, they will charge you $250. In the end after about 3.5 weeks, they could not get rid of the yellow jackets and I ended up having to find a solution myself. This is a very expensive deal you will have to pay, and for my yellow jacket issue... they couldn't remedy the problem. I made an appointment for a regular service with flea control. The girl told me that they only use safe products for animals and humans. I even spoke to them yesterday about the possibility of rescheduling because of the weather. I highly doubt I have fleas in my house, but I wanted to spray as a precaution not one person in Fox told me that I would have to leave my house for 4 hours. Had the technician not called to tell me he was on his way and that I would have to leave with my cat for four hours, I would never have known. I cannot believe that no one from that office ever told me that. I called them back to cancel the service and yes I was angry, but the person I spoke to decided to hang up on me. Sales rep came to my door and advised they have an emergency service that will be same or next day to resolve any alarming pest issues and then come 3 days continuously after until issue resolved or money back. I currently have a wasp issue that they advised they could not come and treat for at least 1 week. When I asked to cancel they advised I need to pay $250 termination fee. I have had the service for less than three months. I have been billed the initial set up fee and two months payments. They only came once, and now want to bill me an additional $250. They are just out for money and create this predatory contract to milk you dry. Definitely a company lacking morals or any sense of customer care. P.S. They do not take direct phone calls. My mother just called me crying that their serviceperson was yelling at her and telling her it's bee season and there's nothing to be done! I was busy at the time trying to get dinner ready for my kids, so I asked them to leave a flyer or something in the mail, which they claimed they couldn't do because of Covid. I let the service member know I wasn't interested, but he was oblivious to that and kept on talking about pests and what not (almost like he wasn't capable of listening). Meanwhile I'm trying to wrangle my 3 year old from running out the door and this service member is still talking about their service. I let him know again that I AM NOT INTERESTED, and I'm trying my best not to tell him to get lost, but he keeps going on and on about "We've been hearing about pests in your neighborhood..." Finally, I let him know "NO THANKS" and shut my screen door, at which point he mutters something under his breath as he walks away. If this idiot is who they send out to represent their company, there's no way I would ever give them my business, or ever consider letting them come into my home. I asked him to leave me some information and he just kept stating how my neighbors were using him and he could give me a good price if I sign up now. This is a totally blood-sucking operation that will not let go. I cancelled my contract within 30 days before the required scheduled treatment as required by the agreement. They told me I owed them $65.18 because my cancellation was a day late based on the billing date. Yet their contract stipulates that cancellation must be within 30 days of the scheduled treatment date. My treatment date was 19th of July. I cancelled on June 12. Yet they send me text after text and email after email. All the time telling me I owe them $65.18. I know I don't. This comes at a particularly excruciatingly painful time for me. My husband passed away in June and they are just taking advantage, harassing and bullying me at a time when it's very difficult for me to deal with bullies like this. Well guess what....they never showed up. I work from home and was home all day. I call to speak with a manager ......they are never available and will never call you back. I get a rep on the phone who tells me my account was closed because the techs note said he came to my house and I said I didn't need the service.
