Victor, who owns the company, later claimed that I called at the end of the day (false) and that they returned my call (also false). Victor is welcome to see my outgoing and incoming call logs. My neighbor recommended Battle A Bug when we asked, and we're happy she did! When we started seeing yellow jackets in our master bedroom, we knew we had an issue. I called, and Battle A Bug sent Greg... within a hour! I showed him the culprits, and he ID'd them right away and looked on the outside of the house. It took him just a few minutes to find where they were coming in near the chimney. The fix was a spray, which he said would work quickly... and to expect to new invaders within three days. We saw ONE the following day... then poof! Problem solved! Great service... fair price... good people. What more could you as for? read more

Battle A Bug was an amazing choice for our exterminator needs. Gregory Romeo came at the agreed upon time. Was friendly, professional, and educated me on what to look for as we walked the house looking for the wasp/ hornet/ or yellow jacket nests. Finding nothing at first, he was about to leave with no charge for coming, when he saw some activity near the front porch. He discovered the hive, changed into his bee suit and treated it. Instructing me if there is activity after 5 days a second treatment might be needed, but since 1st treatment, no pests! All in all a more then satisfactory experience. read more

Called battle a bug because we saw a few cave crickets. Time frame was 830-12. Josh came at 830. Came in and sprinkled granules as well as sprayed all wall edges in basement. I have been a customer for almost 10 years. That's a long time. My daughter had a problem with ants sort of a one time occurrence, so I called bottle of bug to see if they would go to a treatment and I would pay for it. My quarterly treatment is $135 a month. She has a 900 square-foot house, so I was thinking the payment would be about the same and I was happy to pay that. I wasn't necessarily looking for a long-term contract, although I was open to that, more of a one time "as a favor "to a longtime customer and again I thought that the charge would be about the same as what I pay for my quarterly treatment. The technician came, we did not even spray the whole house, and he then presented me with a bill for almost $400. I was obviously shocked and he said yes well that's the initial treatment and then you go on the quarterly plan. I said well that was not really my understanding of what today was and he indicated that whoever booked the appointment from the office should've explained the pricing to me. He encouraged me to just sign the contract and that I could cancel it at any time so I did that. I called battle of bug to express my dismay at this charge on the assumption it would be a quarterly contract when that was not discussed with me. Let me just say, I can't think of a time when I was a 10 year customer of somebody that I was treated so poorly, rudely, and downright nasty. The woman blamed the technician 100% for not telling me what the charges were, and I said to her but the tech is the one who told me that the office should have gone over what to expect when I book the appointment. She did not want to hear that, was not interested in my status as a long-term customer, and hung up on me. If I add up my past payments, and my anticipated future payments for both mine and my daughters house will be talking close to $10,000. The woman was not interested in discussing anything, talked over me, shouted at me and that's when I realized they really didn't care about my loyal business. I've canceled all service from them. So beware, when things are going great they are as nice as can be, but it's a fake because this business's true colors came through and it was one of the most offensive vile conversations I've ever had. read more

I have called Victor at Battle a Bug several times over the years. In each experience he has been very professional, and more importantly, highly ethical. When I was faced with a bed bug issue after moving to a cop-op, I was told by the management company that I was only permitted to use the exterminators that regularly services the building (not Battle a Bug). When I didn't feel this other company did a thorough job, I asked Victor to come and help me figure out other treatment options. He actually helped me place a call to a competitor to get information about quickly getting a dog in to see if the problem remained. I couldn't use the dog because the recent use of chemicals would prevent the canine from detecting accurately. Victor spent a good hour inspecting my co-op, and in the end, recommended no further treatment at this time. He didn't charge me for the visit, and wouldn't even accept a tip. I cannot recommend him highly enough. read more
