My family and I are in the area for a HUGE homeschool basketball tournament and we had a long day of basketball and everyone agreed pizza sounded good. I did my usual browsing of Yelp and noticed Fox's Pizza Den was super close. Their ratings on here weren't super high but one review caught my attention. It was someone who was from New York and had been having issues finding good pizza in the area until they tried Fox's New Yorker pizza! So we went to this little restaurant and ate their and loved their workers. They were super nice and helpful. I ordered a small order of garlic bread and we really liked it. The marinara was to die for! My son got a small sausage pizza with garlic butter pizza and he loved it. My wife and I got a sausage/green pepper New Yorker and we thought it was great! It was massive! We brought almost half of it with us and can't wait to dig in later! The eating area was nothing to brag about but we loved the games they had available to make the 10 minute wait for the pizza to even faster! Give this place a try! read more

I grew up halfway between New York City and Boston, but have spent the past 20 years bouncing between Indy, Texas, and Missouri. I thought any hope of finding good pizza outside of the northeast was lost. Don't get me wrong, the deep dish from Ale Emporium is great, but sometimes I want something delivered. Greeks Pizza, with their sugary sauce? Couldn't be me. I don't get the hype of that place. Don't get me started on Hotbox or any of the other chains that are every 100 yards in Whitestown. Then I found Fox's. Specifically, I found their New Yorker. It's like a slice of home: Foldable crust that's thin, but not so thin that it's practically a saltine cracker...top notch sauce with the perfect amount of seasoning...gooey cheese. And leftovers reheat and recrisp perfectly in an air fryer or toaster oven. If you're from the northeast, or you appreciate quality NY-style pizza that comes from a guy who is certainly named Mario or Domenic, look no further. The Fox New Yorker is it. If that's not your speed, keep ordering from Greeks or Noble Roman's. I don't need you and your corrupted taste buds adding to my wait time. read more

I hadn't been to Fox's due to the low rating on Yelp, so imagine my surprise when my husband and I had an AMAZING meal tonight for even better value! We ate in the restaurant which was very clean. The two employees we interacted with were great, but one in particular elevated the service. I wish I would have asked his name- he was dark haired, bilingual and in his 30s. CONSTANTLY smiling and offering to help. Great pizza, better staff. To counter another review, I'm also originally from the NYC area. It's not NY or Chicago style pizza, but it's not trying to be. We ordered two pizza to go, one Hawaiian gourmet pizza, one pepperoni pizza. Actually I was kind of disappointed coz the pizza were quite average. The ham on the Hawaiian were very small pieces, there were a little pile of ham in the center of the pizza, make you think "oh, that's a lot of ham", but other than that pile, there was no ham on other area of the pizza. Pineapples were quite evenly spread all over the pizza. The taste was so so, didn't give me wow factor. My hubby had pepperoni, didn't hear him say anything about it, which means it's not good. Ordered a Stromboli, cinnamon sticks, and Mountain Dew last night for $35.00, delivered cold almost 2 hours after we called. Ended up having to call again after about an hour and a half went by because they clearly forgot, they tried to say they knocked and called and would only give $10 off the next purchase. I have two dogs who would strongly agree they never knocked and the phone I made the order on with no missed calls. Couple of hours later and I'm terribly sick on the toilet. I threw it all up and 4 hours later I'm still having to run to the toilet. Pretty bad experience. Should have stuck with what I know best, Loumalnatis. read more

When I contacted the store, the manager was rude and insisted that there was no possible way a pizza could leave their facility without cheese. Solid pizza place! Bread sticks are the best! Great service! Seems like they have small crew but they do a good job!

To be honest I was a little hestitant in coming in due to some bad reviews from the local folks here but glad I gave Fox a chance.  We recently moved here and happy to say there's no bad restaurants here.  However, as for Fox's, I love the breadsticks.....parmesian garlicky delicious.  And their meat deluxe is going to be my husband's favorite.  They will be part of door dash soon so that would be nice when the weather gets colder.  We will definitely come back. read more

charged me 2 dollars for 1.5 oz of ranch, which I did not receive. when I called I spoke with a woman and yes i was rude but when you spend 50 bucks on a large pizza and 8 wings with a tip you expect your order to be right. manager or owner called me back told me I should not have spoke to her that way but yet they couldnt get my order right plus the food was horrible will never order from here again read more

I don't usually leave many reviews unless it's warranted and this time I believe it is. I have gotten Fox's Several times and never had issues until the last 2 times. They messed up on my order a few weeks ago twice the same night. Once on the original order and again on the replacement order and I let it go but now it tried it again and when I received the order I opened the Bacon & Cheddar Wedges box and had cheese on Maybe 4 Wedges which I had also asked for extra cheese on. Even I called the employee says he watched the manager put them in the oven and there was cheese on them so I said o okay, I'm lying then? And I then said I am taking a picture of them and I want them replaced. I called back because the employee said the manager was out doing deliveries and the manager answered and he also proceeded to argue with me over what the recipe calls for and asked me if I would like a picture of the recipe. I said I want what I ordered and want them replaced and he them wanted to just bring me a cup of cheese and I asked him if I needed to call corporate over this cheese and he said it's about the principle and I said exactly and I'll be calling your corporate office. Fox's Pizza is our neighborhood pizza place, in that is is literally right in the neighborhood. It is convenient, to be sure and the pizza has generally ok. The crust is just about perfect and the toppings are pretty good, but the sauce is not my favorite. Still, the service is usually quite good and it is, again, very close, which has some benefits. Fox's Pizza is a pretty good value, too, and they ususally have some type of special running. read more

This was the worst pizza of my life. The taco pizza was appalling and not even recognizable as such. The breadsticks were rubbery and even my dog tired of the battle and discarded one. The pizza is decent and quite cheap. I wouldn't have written a review, but it is probably the best deal I have gotten ever when in a small town. For less than $20 I got a taco salad, medium pizza and breadsticks. That included delivery by what I would consider the best looking delivery person I have ever seen. It is a nice change of pace to see a beautiful collegiate deliver your pizza to a hotel as opposed to the normal slack jawed man. If I have to come to this area again I will order again. read more

I've had this pizza a couple of times and I must say, it's pretty tasty! I've received great customer service here and that can make all of the difference. I was happy to see they offered a bambino sized pizza - which was literally perfect for me. The last time I was here I was hungry, but not starving, and didn't want to have any leftovers to deal with that day. The bambino size was equivalent to the Pizza Hut "book club" personal pan size - you know what I'm talking about, right? Haha It's the perfect size! Moved over here not too long ago and was worried about the lack of decent pizza places, and wasn't expecting much from Fox's Den after reading the reviews. Ordered a deluxe though and was really surprised at how good it was! It's not going to blow your mind or anything, but this is definitely a better Pizza than you can get from the likes of Dominos or Pizza Hut. Had them a couple of times now and the pizzas were both well made and tasty. Definitely recommend this place for anyone in the area. read more

Well, I really was hoping for a good experience since almost no one delivers to us. We ordered a meat supreme pizza with jalapeños on half. What we received was half meat supreme and half cheese with jalapeños. We called, the nice lady that answered was friendly. She stated that yes our system does that. You need to be more careful when ordering. When they get the order it says only jalapeño on half. Well, the online receipt is very clear on our side what we ordered, & PAYED for. We were then told that they are to busy to send someone with the correct pizza. We can come and pick-up the correct pizza if we want. We were then told they will give us a free breadstick on our next order. Well.. there will not be a next order. There are too many established pizza places around to have to deal with poor customer service. read more

We ordered online and waited about an hour, which I say is average for most delivery places. The roads were very treacherous as well so this is even more forgivable. The pizza and breadsticks tasted pretty good. My only gripe is the amount of grease on the Pizza and Breadsticks. And the square way they cut the pizza is a bit goofy but not a big deal read more

Great pizza - our Friday night go to! We only wish the crust was a little thicker to handle the toppings but obviously it's not bad enough where we don't eat it. I know teens are usually working there but the customer service/ communication could be a little better. Often times I have to ask them to repeat themselves or can't hear them at all. Terrible service. This was my second consecutive order that was messed up. Tonight I had ordered for a Medium pizza with half and half topping. First half with pepperoni and the other half with vegetables (for obvious reason that I don't want any meat on it). However, pizza delivered was layered with pepperoni all over and topped with vegetables. I called to get the situation fixed and was directed to speak to the manager. Manager said we can't do anything for tonight as we are closing and the driver has to leave. Basically told me to find another option for dinner tonight. How would anyone think this is the way to handle the situation? I picked Fox not for them to tell me to find food elsewhere. He did offer me a free pizza for the next day. That too, only if I call in. But this happened 40 minutes prior to their close time. If customer service and satisfaction was their priority, I'm sure this could have been dealt better. I've never really raged while writing a review before but I am as I wrote this. Update: Called them this evening, ordered my free pizza and they told me they can't deliver it for free. Either I go up there to pick it up or pay for delivery. I could have done that but my question is why not deliver it for a mistake Fox had caused me? Great customer service would be going all out in fixing your mistake. For Fox pizza, it wasn't a big deal that I had to go elsewhere for dinner last night even after paying for my pizza and delivery. However, it is a big deal for them to make up for it by delivering a free pizza to my door step. Guy on the phone said they aren't making any profit from delivering this for free. Needless to say that customer service was the least of a concern in his mind. The manager on duty from last night is out today. The guy who handled me today was nothing but plain RUDE! Good pizza? Ha! Clearly the Midwest doesn't know what good pizza is. I guess I'm spoiled being from the New York metro area. We ordered an x-large deep dish, my partner actually specified that twice over the phone. What do we get? Some flat sh!t the size of a Domino's medium. In fact it tastes similar to Domino's or something from the freezer section at the supermarket. Apparently they didn't hear the deep dish part over the phone. We stopped for quick bite to eat on Saturday at 8pm. We didn't want fast food and we didn't want to take time at a sit-down restaurant so we thought order-at-the-counter was perfect! We ordered easily and the cashier was very nice. After a full 35 minutes of waiting for our food, we had to ask if it was still coming because we thought they forgot about us. The nice girl apologized profusely and said our little wedgies had just come out of the oven. They still had to be assembled. A full 15 minutes later we received them. The wedgie crust was not very good and the sandwich was the definition of "meh." The tastiest thing about it was the gobs of mayonnaise. The kicker is my boyfriend pulled a flat plastic fastener (the type that comes with a loaf of bread) out of his mouth that was cooked into his sandwich. I wish I could give this place 2 stars because the people were nice, but an agonizing wait + subpar wedgie sandwiches + plastic in food = we left feeling like we had just received two huge wedgies. :/ read more
