So glad Hummus Republic has opened in Whitestown. Great location near lots of shopping. The fast fresh options are healthy and super tasty. You'll be quickly greeted at the line and asked for your choice of a bowl, a pita, or a wrap. I chose the wrap with the next question being wheat or spinach. Then you can pick up to 3 varieties of hummus. I put black olive, traditional and fiery on my spinach wrap followed by white rice. Instead of rice I could have had cous cous or garbanzo beans. Next decision is protein. Shwarmsa chicken please. Lemon chicken or lamb ($ extra) also available. Top that with cucumber, red onion, feta, and tzikiki and I had a chubby wrap. Hummus Republic is a chain of make-your-own bowl/pita/wrap filled with Mediterranean-type foods. You pick base, protein, toppings and sauce. I like that you can design exactly what you want. You can make it healthy or not. And there are vegetarian option with falafel. The staff is friendly and works quickly. I had a bowl with a lemon chicken protein and couscous base. My bowl was fresh, good and filling but the flavors could have used more spice. I particularly liked the warm veggie mix. The bowl ended up around $16, which I thought was a lot for a quick lunch with a spoonful of chicken. The dining room is small but adequate for the lunch crowd. The parking situation is abysmal. There is only one way into the lot and there are not enough spaces in the lot. read more

I had my meal delivered for a work lunch so I'm not able to give an accurate review of the place itself but let me tell you--the food is delicious! I was a little hesitant to order because build your own places can be hit or miss but I will definitely be ordering from here again. I had the pita with couscous, harissa hummus, chicken shawarma, cucumbers, feta, olives, tzatziki, and lemon & olive oil. It was SO good! Very large portion too so I only ate half. Tried this new Greek spot recently, and let me tell you--it felt like a quick vacation to the Mediterranean without the sunburn or overpriced souvenirs. From the moment I placed my order, I knew I was in good hands. The young man taking my order was not only kind and patient (even when I asked way too many questions about sauce options and meat options), but he also knew the menu like it was his personal playlist. The food? Oh, chef's kiss! The souvlaki was perfectly grilled, the pita was pillowy soft, and the tzatziki? Let's just say I'd like to bathe in it--if that's socially acceptable. Now I have to be honest I was slightly tricked into this review but the food was so good I had to give one. Now I went because I thought I had got invited for my first elite event but I guess I was wrong. But anyhow I arrived and found the location easy to find. They do have a small parking lot. I went in and was greeted by a nice gentleman. It's a chipole style of serving with Mediterranean cuisine. They have a great spread. The place is very well lit and very clean. The plating of my pita was incredible. The way it looked, I had to have a bit. I ate it before I even made it home. LoL. I was fussing because I didnt get my yelp elite invite but glad I came. This new restaurant just opened in Whitestown. My first impressions upon walking in, I was a little overwhelmed. It was qdoba build your own style but with Mediterranean foods. The gentlemen making out food was very friendly and explained what everything was and even let us have samples if we wanted. I got couscous and spinach as my base, with tzatziki, corn, beets, and lemon chicken. I tried all of the hummus flavors but I am not a fan of hummus! My bowl was too bright in flavor for me because I'd didn't get hummus or tahini. If you like those two things, you might like the food here better. There is plenty of seating inside. read more

I had never tried it but my first experience at a different location was not great, but I thought "let's give another location a shot" and honestly it was just fine. I got the falafel burger with pita chips and it was okay. I definitely won't be back. I also don't think it a good price point, everything is al la cart, so it adds up real quick and not worth the $$. read more

Delicious, fast, friendly, and somehow, healthy. This place will be out of business in a year.

The price is higher than I usually go for, but was blown away by the hummus. The bowl is a good portion, I easily saved half for later. The chicken shawarma was good and everything was good with a bit of hummus on it. I really can't wait to go back for the hummus. read more

Was SO pleased to find this place when passing through town. Their falafel was crispy on the outside and tender inside. Very well made without any oil taste mucking it up. The pita "chips" were regular triangle shaped with some crunchy parts and some soft. This was a nice change from actual "chips" or a soft warm pita. The assortment of hummus was SO tasty with a depth of flavor thats says they know how to prepare. We were pleased with the falafel/salad bowl with tahini dressing and learned they have many options in-house (we picked up). Staff was friendly and accommodating and just nice. The eat-in space looked clean and inviting though didn't promote casual intimate dining but more cafeteria style which was what we were looking for. On-line ordering worked great! read more
