My problem was with some of the night staff that acted like they were doing me a favor. One night since my diaper was not soiled they didn't change it for the night. Another time I had diarrhea. There was an attitude and I pointed out that it was something I ate there. Another time someone came in with an attitude and instead of placing the hospital gown on me to be put on it was THROWN ON ME. Another time around 8:45 I requested change for the night and the person who came in was on the phone with a personal call and taking care of me was secondary. Some of the food was warm or cold at best. Something was called a cheese omelet but was horrible and cold so I couldn't even eat it. As for the office I got help a few times to appeal for a longer stay I felt I needed and they were very helpful. And they helped me with my discharge.

The food is decent and the staff (what there is of them) are kind and caring but make no mistake CareOne was conceived in the late 1990's as a hedge-funders erotic dream to drive profit and efficiency. They have been successful... as CareOne is the number one brand of senior living facilities in NJ. Two stars.

I have had the pleasure of going with him to see a few of them and greatly enjoyed them. They have a nice exercise room, common area and a beautiful pool which is kept up well with attentive life guards that actually act like they care. I cannot say enough nice things about the community and its activities. If you are older and want to be independent and keep active with new friends, this is a great place to live. when I am over 55 maybe I will move here!
