Who ever wrote a review on the Foxborough and gave the two stars was very generous. The park at Foxborough is in branson mo is not like hotels they give you two towels two wash cloth ano hand towel for four patrons if you need another well you walk to the front desk and exchange because the maid goes home 4 o'clock the front of the building looks nice the other part of the hotel looks ran down they charge you 12 dollars a day for two small boxes of tide alittle round bar of soap that I have not seen since late 1960s I ask a young couple if there room was the same they replied no they had cock roaches I'd wouldn't let my dog stay here just beware and don't waste your money thank you read more

A "resort" it is not, although it bills itself as a "resort." It is an old motel badly in need of repair. Our bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. the pool is on the small side and when filled with kids and teens it is virtually unusable. We had to pay a $94 "amenities fee" when we checked in. When asked about it, we were told it was for parking, the pool, etc. It did had a dilapidated put put course that looked like something out of the third world and the other "amenities" were similar. The staff was friendly and the location was good, but that was about it. Also, no shampoo, conditioner, but did had some small pieces of soap. STAY AWAY, YOU WILL GET DIRTY SHEETS AND NO REFUND I booked a room at this property through AirBNB. Checked in, spent the evening at big cedar, and returned. When I began preparing for bed, I pulled the sheets back and there was hair in the sheets. I notified the staff and they offered to place me in a new room (on their property) or bring new sheets. After seeing the sheets in my current room, I did not trust that a new set they would bring would be clean and I did not trust the cleanliness of another unit. I therefore declined that offer and asked for a full refund. I had to find lodging at midnight in Branson on the weekend. There was no lodging available anywhere else. So I drove to Springfield, 40 minutes away, and stayed at the candlewood suites which cost me another $179. This company declined to give me a refund after my terrible experience. read more

Beware!!! Stay away! At best, this Resort has horrid Customer Service. At worst, they are a fraud. We were told our Points with RCI had been transferred here and the contact person who still works there refuses to answer my calls. Her name was listed in the email we received. Colleen Dorrian didn't follow through with getting back to me for weeks and then when she finally did, she was rude, raised her voice at me, and hung up on when I once again said I wanted to speak to Des Austin. They have an F with the BBB and I can see why! I'd give them no stars if that was an option. read more

This was probably the worse place we've ever stayed at in Branson. The couch was light colored fabric that hadn't been cleaned in years. The two very uncomfortable chairs were dirty as well. The mattress was horrible. The bathtub had the previous guest hair still in it. Of course I was thankful I brought my own cleaning supplies to be able to clean before my family used the facilities. The sad thing is, this could be a fairly nice place to stay with some updated flooring and furniture, along with people that KNOW how to clean and value their guest. When you have saved for the last year to take your family on a nice vacation and paid your hard earned money, it would be nice to at LEAST have a clean place to stay. If having cleanliness is too much to ask for, then these people need to find another line of work. read more

If you have a family, with kids DO NOT stay here. Place is not kid friendly, there is 9 hole mini golf that hasn't seen attention in years. A small one hoop basketball court. The staff were very nice, friendly and polite. Our two bedroom "place" was adequate. The parking is almost adequate. A small 4 hole mini golf. There are specific instructions to operate the a/c units. So it freeze up and stop working. Which the room was constantly and consistently overly warm. Even thoughthe a/c was workingst capacity. When we tried to make coffee? There was severe mold in the coffee grounds. They did furnish the room with a brand new coffee machine, still in the box. The cookware is adequately sub-par. All the pots and pans were too small for anything to really cook with. Literally everything would stick to the bottom. Plus, if you did happen to turn on the stove or the oven? The room would get and be that much warmer. There was only one outlet for both sides of the bed. Terribly inconvenient and didn't make any sense. read more

This was a comfortable place that we stayed in for a week in October 2018. The only problem we had was NO WATER AT 2:00 AM. We banged on the inn next door business area door and there was(luckily) someone there. After a couple hours, we had water. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. Everything was outdated. Stains on the pillows. Mold in the bathroom. A dirty sock left behind in a closet. We had two rooms and had to pay $12 per day per room for "amenities." The pool was closed and no access to other amenities Were shown to us. We were told that amenities included toilet paper or laundry detergent which we only got one in one room and we went to get a detergent and they were going to charge us over two dollars for the laundry detergent. We also are being charged $65 per room for housekeeping. Yet we have to wash our own dishes and take out all of the trash as well as strip the bed of all linens. Housekeeping did not come once during the week we stayed. In both kitchens all of the pans were sticky and dirty that we had access to. The spoons and forks were very jagged like they had been shoved down the disposal. This was a very unpleasant stay, and for the amount of money we had to pay per night and per week on top of all the amenities and fees was definitely not worth it. I would definitely not recommend ever staying here. Not worth the amount of money. read more

We paid an equivalent to $2,736.80 in points (88,000 points) for our two 1-bedroom units & stayed for 4 nights. We paid $139 PER ROOM as a transfer fee. When we arrived, we were required to pay an $160 in cleaning fees. We weren't thrilled about it, b/c it's not what we were told when we called ahead, but we paid assuming that it meant our rooms would be extremely clean. WE WERE WRONG. We come to Branson resorts yearly, and this is our singular bad experience. CLEANLINESS When we got to the rooms, there were a half dozen large spider webs/spiders in one of the rooms. The bathtubs was dirty and stained, and the carpet made our feet dirty. The faucets were corroded. We had to spend a significant amount of time cleaning in order to feel quasi-comfortable bring in our things. QUALITY The walls were extremely thin and we could hear everything. The second night, we were startled awake at 2 AM by a couple having sex, & we are not light sleepers. No one could go back to sleep. The continued noise (even after calling the front desk) was so disruptive that our youngest was scared to tears and thought someone was getting hurt. We actually had to leave and pack into our other room to finally go back to sleep. We were told this resort was recently updated and the websites needed to photos, but we didn't find evidence of any renovation. The cabinets were falling off, drywall cracked, fixtures installed incorrectly/crooked, and one of our doors going to the outside was broken. The furniture was old/cheap and nothing coordinated. Even the TVs were mounted crooked to the wall! COMFORTABILITY The beds were hard and lumpy, and so were the pillows. The dining chairs were extremely uncomfortable and small. Not once in our four nights there did I feel like I could relax. The towels were small & there were only TWO in the room!! AMENTITIES There are no food options on site or within walking distance that we could find. We couldn't ever get connected to the WIFI with any of our devices. The pool is small. Everything in the gym seemed sticky. We had to buy everyday kitchen items normally already at resorts we've stayed at in the past. CUSTOMER CARE The man at check in was rude. When we went to the front desk the next day with our issues w/ photos, the manager was unapologetic and dismissive. They took zero accountability, and she actually asked us if we wanted to go on a sales tour. PLEASE DON'T PUT YOUR FAMILY THROUGH STAYING HERE. YOU'LL REGRET IT. read more

It was clean. The furnishings were older but what I would expect for the price. The bed was uncomfortable, a new mattress would make the stay more enjoyable. A few items were in the kitchen area if you wanted to cook a quick snack, probably not enough for a family to cook a full meal. Let's start by stating, THIS IS FAR FROM a RESORT! I ended up staying here through The Summer Resorts and only booked because it offered a kitchen area to allow for cooking. The hotel is off on the woods and has a giant hill should you land on the backside of the hotel. They have a four stories and offer an elevator that is on a small corridor area. Upon arriving to the local we had a small issue with opening the door. No worries, we just rolled with it since we were on vacation. The room was decent but seemed like it was missing furniture. The kitchen was fair put together and it was decently cleaned minus hair. All and all it was cool until we got locked out the room for an one and a half hours. While staff attended to it in 22 degree weather and asking the manager how she would fixed this got no response. I informed her staff that they pass a message on that I would like to visit with her the next morning. Upon checking out, the manager was no where to be found but left her staff to provide an offer of a free night and tickets after were checking out and stated that we had to leave to return to work. read more

Not the best.... but definitely better than the place next door! Does not look like a "Retreat" in any form. Old hotel converted into condo living quarters! While the idea is nice, the actual amenities could be updated (i.e. beds, showers, etc.) The pool is pretty relaxing, and the mini golf is... okay. Definitely has potential to be a retreat as updates are hopefully made. Meanwhile, will continue to enjoy the rest if my stay with my family. read more

No, it's not the fanciest condo we've ever stayed in...BUT...it'll now be our 'go to' place!!!..it was very clean and almost everything we needed was present...that which wasn't, we purchased and left behind for the next guest. The furnishings were simple, clean and comfortable. Our condo was a two bedroom, two bath facility which could've easily turned in to a three bed, three bath. The perfectly-located resort had apparently at one time been a motel. To some, that may seem a disadvantage or a negative but to me...traveling with all the little grand kids...it meant that the walls were much thicker than standard condo paper thin..that when the munchkins were tucked in for the night, the adults were able to speak well above a whisper without fear of waking the sweet angels. The grounds were homey and inviting and offered a well maintained hiking trail, basketball court, picnic area and putt putt. The staff was on top of their game...friendly and helpful always. And the pool...it is outdoors so don't expect to swim during colder months. My only complaint..and it didn't really bother me much, but it might you; there are only mini blinds on the windows...if you must have your room completely dark to sleep, you may be in trouble. Oh did I mention the grandkids and the in-room washer/dryer?! We look forward to our mini vacations in Branson; we're excited to have finally found the perfect place to stay. read more

The resort is shabby and not chic. The sole seating area in the living room islike sitting in a hole. The beds are lumpy and the kitchen is under equipped and flatware is cheap and thin. The carpeting is frayed tho it appears new, the installation is substandard leaving frayed edges all over. Sprinklers have been installed, but just thru holes drilled into ceiling and not finished off. The only saving grace is a new bar and grill that thankfully is not managed by the resort and was our only good experience about this property. I would recommend you stay elsewhere and come to the bar and grill, "Foxy Bs" When I met the owner at the bar he was quite rude. read more

My family was provided a week to Branson on behalf of my uncle through RCI. The rooms, kitchen, living room, and accommodations were very nice. No complaints. However, the noise in the room above us was horrible. We called the front desk at least 6 times and nothing was done. My family and I went upstairs twice and asked them to please be quieter as they were loud and disruptive (running, stomping, jumping, horse playing, etc). There was literally no peace and quiet. They stated well there is 6 kids in here. Well that's no excuse to be disruptive to the other people who are also staying here for vacation. There are lots of things to do on the grounds (golf, basketball, horseshoes, corn hole, pool, fitness room, places to run and play, rather than acting like elephants in a room. I love Branson and the shows; but this place does nothing to it's tenants who lack courtesy and are disrespectful to others who are also staying in the complex. read more

Pretty good. Definitely a work in progress as far as the quality of furniture, old showers. Ceiling fan & ac didn't work in one room. But over all it was ok for the price, my FREE vacation. But the staff was great. I can tell they were in the middle of redecorating. The Wi-Fi is pretty bad, but the quiet of the resort is great. Would stay here again. read more
