I would seriously recommend going somewhere else. I came in for an oil change and to have them make…read moresure my headlights are attached correctly because they have been loose in the past. They did not tell me that the inspection comes with any service, nor did they give me the ability to opt out beforehand on the information sheet I filled out. They tried to charge me 300$ for the oil change because my oil cap was stuck on from my last oil change. They told me my headlights were fine, I have had to get out of my car and push them back in to get them working leaving my job at midnight twice since I've left that shop, which is the issue I wanted fixed. They also quoted me 10k for the other damage to my car, which I was already aware of because I PAID for an inspection with another shop. Now, two weeks later, I'm getting new lights on my dash and my car is running horribly, which never happened after my Walmart oil changes (though they got my cap stuck). Everything about this place is sketchy, they WILL damage your car to get you back in the shop, do not trust this business. I will be taking my car somewhere that has some business standards.

And said oh yeah that's an issue. Not straight to the point, and didn't answer our questions of cost or explanation. Then Later in this conversation, added that there was this issue... we asked about the cost again. They didn't find out the cost or wasn't sure. We waited for their phone call to hear on the prices. And 2-3 hours later, my husband called them and they still didn't look for the price for one part that we asked for. Like what have you been doing all this time?! Diagnose fee wasted. They didn't even write and print up a report for us. Definitely a fishy business. I want my money back.

On the phone, our mechanic is honestly explaining to a customer that investing money into the repair is not a good mechanical choice. Better that he seek out another vehicle to purchase. Isn't this the type of mechanic one needs to have, instead of not saying anything? Other mechanics would just take the money, do the repair, and the customer would end up paying in the future for additional costly repairs. We're sticking with these mechanics. Shop said to try it out over weekend and bring back if any issues. Pay on Monday if no issues. Had same initial problem 10 min after leaving shop. Took back Friday night. Left over weekend. Prob totally fixed by shop Monday by afternoon. No issues since. Very dependable shop, willing to extend final payment until things were totally fixed. Fast, friendly and reliable. Very thorough repairs, service advisors are civil and explain things carefully, and they will drive you home and pick you up if you don't have an alternate ride. And for a two-bay shop, they were able to take me in very quickly, and did not keep the truck longer than one overnight. Nowadays, EVERY visit to a shop means a bill in high three figures, if not low four figures, and I have no way to calculate comparative economics. Certified is now my go-to repair shop. Preferred over AJ's and definitely over Power GMC.

On the way through Stayton, my breaks went completely out and I coasted into their parking lot. The day before Thanksgiving and they stopped to fit my car in and let me know what was wrong. Unfortunately it was more $ to fix it than what it is worth. The mechanics held my car for me so I could figure out logistics and ability to purchase another car. They put it all back together and had the car ready for a wrecker. I was so impressed with #1 their friendly. The tech was professional, friendly, and actively sought ways to reduce the cost even more.
