My granddoggie was coming to visit and I was asked to pick up a few things. I couldn't find what I needed near my Carrollwood home, stopped back at my condo, and pulled up PetSmart online. I IMMEDIATELY found what I needed at a terrific price, and ordered it. I wanted to beat the storm to pick it up, so I called to see where I was in line. Trevor took my call and said he would be glad to go pull it. I scooted out there and Trevor was ready for me....had to offer me a substitute on one item because the one on the shelf had a bit of damage, but offered me the bit larger one at the sale price. I was ever so pleased with his concern and his resolution. My former store is one that will fill future needs and I am definitely going to recommend them to others. Ive never seen this lady in my life. I've had a tank for over a year now and my fish have never been happier. I asked for help with the adopting and she immediately was like "show me your tank", "show me your fish", which is understandable but made me feel like I'm somehow clueless (I do all my research before I add any animal into my tank). In the end she said "I'll sell you a little frog if you buy a 90 GALLON TANK", I really wish I was lying. I was being as nice and understanding as possible but as soon as I left and realized what just happened, it changed my opinion on the people you hire. Thankfully I'm a grown woman and can hold back feelings but if this was a child being turned away, I couldn't imagine the emotional impact that would cause them. She needs to be let go.

The staff was initially very polite, took my dog back, and I paid for the services. In under a minute, they brought my dog back out, and said he did not need the procedure done. When I began to challenge and question, they replied that usually dogs show signs when this is needed. I responded that he had shown signs, has for weeks, and I've been doing this for six years with him and know when it's necessary. The staff was young and looked back at me with blank eyes. When I asked for a refund, since the service was not even done, I received a response of "I could get in trouble." Why not bring a manager out then? To not provide a needed service for my dog and then refuse to give me a refund is absurd.

You have to search hard to find an employee to help you find an item and when you do find an employee they behave like they really don't want to be there. The employees have no customer service characteristics at all. I just get a blank stare and no personality whatsoever like they are all on the spectrum. I needed to find a specific dry dog food and it was hidden behind all this other dog food, totally unorganized! On occasion they are out of stock of an item or I can't find it and struggle to find an employee to help me. The most recent incident I had was paying $149.00 for dog training sessions, the cashier gave me a starting date, I arrived with my dog and told the class is full. WHAT? Why was I not notified with a courtesy call and given a rescheduling date? Once again, poor customer service and an unorganized store! My guess is Petsmart pays low wages, therefore employees have low moral and very poor training. On a more positive note, there is one lady cashier who is really pleasant and helpful. Corporate needs to step up and smarten up and live up to their name Petsmart!

My little guy was great during the wash. After I tried to take him around the store but he was being bratty. I had to clean a few of his messes. At that point I just brought him home instead of getting a treat. The service was great. They showed me how to use the tub and they had doggie soap for washing. They also supplied dry towels. They have a dryer, I've never tried one with my little guy so I didn't bother to use it. It made it much easier than washing him at home.
