After losing our regular mobile groomer due to retirement we needed to find a place we could trust with our babies. We are very protective of them so not just any grooming place will do. Foxy Fur was recommended to us so even though it's about a 30 min drive I tried it out today. It's a very nice grooming place, the staff really cares for their Fur clients like their own. They are very skilled in what they do and you can feel good and confident about leaving your babies in their hands. I believe I found my permanent place for grooming regardless of the drive. Foxy fur grooming needs to learn how to communicate with the owners. I've had two situations where I brought my puppy in and either his ears weren't cleaned, nails not clipped, or left my dog's ear bloody. They don't acknowledge what's going on to the owner and wait for you to find out on your own. The first time this happened I called and spoke to the owner and she just apologized in a sarcastic manner. Then today I look in my puppies ears and it's swollen and dried blood. When I called the owner she said she's sorry for not telling me but I'm the owner I should know what's going on with my dog. I will never be brining my puppy back. read more

I came here with an appointment. My appointment was at 2 pm and I honestly didn't think it was going to take so long. There where only two out of 3 ladies grooming the dogs. So I decided to wait and ate at Jack, and even shopped around dollar tree. I was waiting for them to call me but after maybe an hour and 1/2 I decided to walk back and check on my dog. First time coming here. I brought in my little shipoo and the lady didn't ask what her name was just asked what cut I wanted and grabbed her in. Didn't feel very welcoming. I can't believe the treatment I've received from this establishment. I've been taking my dog here since they opened for grooming and daycare. I work full time and I'm a student, so this place was relatively inexpensive and conveniently located. I also liked that an appointment is not necessary, which works great with my demanding schedule. The owners appear to be friendly and easy going, however, good luck getting a smile or proper greeting when arriving to their business on a busy day. They severely lack customer service skills and do not know how to work under pressure. I was well aware of these flaws prior to the incident(s) that occurred, however, it was something I was willing to deal with considering how convenient it was for me. On 2/10/18, I dropped off my dog for daycare at 9am. They were very busy and had a full staff of employees working, so neither of the owners helped me, it was a young woman. She seemed irritated and quickly took my dog and never came back to the lobby to say "see you later" or "thank you." I was forced to leave without any reassurance. Within two hours I received a voicemail from the owner (female) explaining that my dog will not stop barking (insistently) and if I can pick her up. Please keep in mind, I take her to Foxy Fur about 3x per week for daycare, with NO ISSUES. I called them back to let them know that I was terribly sorry and I will try to leave work early to pick her up, but it won't be for another 2 hours (I was supposed to work until 4pm and had to leave work at 1pm because of this). I asked if that would be ok, and the woman on the phone said "Let me double check with the TRAINER" - excuse me? You have a TRAINER there and they don't know how to handle a barking dog... at a DOG DAYCARE? Nonetheless they told me "that should be fine..." so when I picked up my dog the owner (female) said that they had to put her in a separate crate, and "Saturday's are very busy and I think it was too chaotic for her. It's easier for us during the week to pay more attention to her." As much as an inconvenience this was for me, I was still very apologetic and paid for her services. Fast forward to today, 2/14/18, I brought her in for grooming and daycare at 10:30am, so that I can go to WORK at 11am. My dog starts barking and wagging her tail when she she's the Foxy Fur building and as we enter the store. The other owner (male) was sitting at the front desk and greeted me. I explain that my dog will need grooming and daycare, as he cuts me off to explain "here's the thing... we can't accept her here because she never stops barking. I can't even talk to anyone on the phone because of her barking" - WHAT? I personally understand how annoying and stressful it is to handle a barking dog, but WHAT do you EXPECT when you RUN & OWN a DOG DAYCARE? If I took my child to childcare, whom would not stop crying, it is the staff's responsibility to figure it out. The same applies with dogs! Now, if my dog was sick or attacking other dogs and/or causing harm I would understand. How on Earth is this my problem that their facility is so small to the point where there is NO separation between the front desk, grooming area, and playpen area? ALSO, why would they NOT contact me and explain their decision *to not accept me as a customer* over the phone, rather, they WAIT until I'm in person expecting to drop my dog off on my way to my JOB, leaving me stranded with no where else to take her? I was 45 minutes late to my job. HORRIBLE customer service; they do not know how to run a business. It's unfortunate because I was a loyal customer and have given them a lot referrals. I was always pleased in the past with their grooming services, daycare, etc. but I am in disbelief that I have been banned from this establishment on the premise of my dog BARKING. I will take my money elsewhere and to an establishment where the staff actually LIKES DOGS and knows how to handle them. The owners and staff of Foxy Fur have made it clear to me that they want to make zero effort in making sure the dogs at their facility have proper attention and care. Great job at proving your so-called "professional daycare" - which is FALSE advertising. I hope no one else receives the same treatment as I have or has their dog get basically shamed for BARKING! Love this groomer. The last groomer had ABSOLUTELY butchered my poor little dog. Shes a pure bred with a paticular cut. I had to wait almost a year for her fur to grow back out to start over. We took our dog, Cash, here for the first time today since it is right across the street from where we live and they have such great reviews. We really loved how nice they were and Cash looked great when we picked him up, however, when we pulled up to our house we noticed I had drops of blood all over my jeans from him sitting on my lap. We got him home and had to clean in between his toes which was dripping blood. The staff is wonderful, Prices are great and my dogs always get the best treatment. Not many places allow you to drop off your dog for daycare anytime with out an appointment. I have two Dachshunds, one loves to be out and socialize while the other is blind and gets scared when he is in an unfamiliar location. I found Foxy Fur while searching the Internet for mobile pet groomers. My grandmother lives in Corona and has a lab. I visit her a few time a week from Orange County to help her and I was in charge of getting him back and forth to his grooming appointments. I have a coupe so this made things a little difficult to get him in my car first of all. Then, he would be at the groomers for 4-5 hours in a cage. He is a very shy, quiet dog and doesn't like being away from my grandma. He also hates water, doesn't like to swim in her pool. I realized he was not very happy no matter what groomers I took him to. I decided I would find someone to come to the house. I found Foxy Fur and was able to text the owner whose name I am forgetting at the moment. I also wanted my maltipoo to get groomed as well. She was able to schedule an appointment within a week which was great. I got sick the day of the appointment and had to cancel my maltipoo appointment, but she came and groomed my grandmothers lab. My grandmother was so happy that he wasn't stuck in a cage all day and the ease of just opening the door to get him groomed. She does a great job on grooming the dogs. Hunter was also happy he got back home quickly and seemed relaxed. I was able to get my maltipoo rescheduled and he got groomed on Thursday. His cut is very even and he looks so cute! And he was done in a little over an hour. I love being able to have the dogs relaxed, and not stuck at a groomers all day. We will be using foxy fur from now on. read more

I took my two dogs here this past week and am so happy with how well they were groomed. Not only do my dogs look amazing but their anxiety level when I picked them up was much lower than when I have taken them to other groomers. I mentioned to the staff that both my dogs are seniors and one is blind and getting groomed is a very taxing experience for them usually. They were very accommodating and put my dogs in a kennel together while they were waiting to be groomed so they would be more comfortable . My wife and I tried this place because it is open on Sundays and that works for our schedule. They have two self-serve wash stations in the front of the store for those willing/able to wash their dogs themselves. They do good work, but we have had to ask them to use no perfume on the dog, as it is too strong. They have been good to use for grooming our 25-30 pound dog. No problems. read more

Best groomers for a reasonable price! This is the first place that I've liked how they groom my dog, I guess they call it "Teddy bear" cut. The first time I stayed and waited for my dog just because it was more convenient to do so. But i saw how meticulous the groomers were. My dog was comfortable and seemed at ease. They also offer day care which makes it easier for me. The second time I dropped off my dogs I dropped them off for grooming and had them stay while I was at work. I love taking my dogs here they're always so friendly and they let you do your thing. My dogs are big so it can get pricy for baths. Foxy has been the only girl in my dogs lives...besides me and my daughter :) Lora comes EVERY WEDNESDAY to pamper my Dobermans. Having her come to our home is convenient for us but because she has such a gentle way, our dogs are not worried at all. She gets them from the side if we are not home, walks them together, bathes them together and gives them treats. A funny story, our female was on the driveway with me and heard Lora start her compressor. She looked down the street to where Lora parks and took off toward it, waiting just outside the trailer door for her to open it. She is the best! I recommend her to anyone who asks.
