So disappointed. First time there, Spent $36 dollars on a gel/ polish change. THAT DAY, all of my gel nails started cracking, the next day those cracks started peeling. Within 4 days of getting a gel, every single nail had peeled and a few even broke so disappointed. A gel should last at LEAST a week. I think she actually forgot the top coat, and I think I should've been under the light longer. The color was OPI so I can't imagine it was the polish. regardless, I will not return, would not recommend. read more

So I usually don't leave reviews, but I needed to for this. For February break I was going on a cruise so I decided to get my nails and toes done before I left. My total for a pedicure and full set of acrylics was $93 before tip (and I tipped about $15). So I spent over $100 on my nails and toes for this trip. Not even a week later, the nail polish on my toes were all chipped and then by a week and a half after getting them done I was missing 3 acrylic nails. I was on vacation relaxing, there was nothing I did that should have caused them to break off so quickly and yet they did (alarmingly easily might I add). For the amount of money I spent, you'd think the nails would last more than a week and a half. I have gotten acrylics done countless times (not here) and I have never experienced this. Only giving two stars because they were nice people and did a great job on my pedicure. I have been to dozens of nail salons for dip manicures over the years and this one by far was the worst. I was cut twice by the nail tech that drew blood each time. They skipped doing both the base coat and the top coat. They had me dry by using the UV light, which is never needed for a dip. One week later and almost every single one of my nails is cracked and breaking off. Never again. read more

I've had a bad experience here in the past and have not been back until yesterday. The only reason I went was because I had a gift card. I chose the pedicure that had a 10 minute massage and extra callous removal. When I asked if she was going to use the metal callous remover I was told that my feet are smooth and I don't need it. First of all if that's the case then why did I have to pay for something I didn't get. Second, my feet are def not smooth. Also, I did not get the 10 min massage I was supposed to get. Got a mani pedi here. It is a typical low cost nail salon. They have lots of gel colors and not too many name brand polishes. The girl who did my mani-pedi was very nice. She didn't speak a lot of English. I noticed that the bottle of polish for my pedi was half empty - either high turnover or old polish. I got a gel manicure on my hands and regular on my feet. Neither lasted more than a week. I usually have good luck and get 2+ weeks from a gel manicure. My gel was chipping and peeling like crazy. So disappointed. My mom brought her own polish and her manicure lasted way longer with Vinylux polish. I think they are using old polish or diluting it - gel should last way longer! read more

Listen, this may not be the fanciest nail salon out there but I have zero complaints about the service! I had a gel manicure and a pedicure. The staff were all extremely friendly to me and everyone else at the salon during my time there. Fantastic service! Basic pedicure includes quite a bit and is more than reasonably priced. The woman were so nice and offered everyone cold bottles water. When visiting MA this spring, I asked a local friend to recommend a nail salon that I could depend on to do a good job filling my acrylic nails. She told me about Lily at Foxy Nail Salon. I am so glad I listened. What a GEM Lily is! Short review: If you need acrylic nail services in the Foxboro, MA area, go see Lily at Foxy Nails. I am new to acrylic nails, had developed a "water mold" spot after a previous manicure in Florida, and was particularly nervous about how I would deal with keeping up my nails as I travel around the USA & Canada over a 6 month period. Due to a medical issue, acrylics are my only viable solution, but not being in a single location for more than a month at a time was going to make maintaining them quite a challenge. Knowing I was a transient, and not a potential long-term client, did not deter Lily from giving me the best advice and manicure I could ever have hoped for. Lily was very kind and patient with me as we discovered many additional water mold problems on my nails. She recommended removing the acrylics I had, and starting over. She was quite knowledgeable, explaining the difference between a more serious nail fungus and the water mold I had. She reassured me that my problems were only on the surface, and if I had new acrylics reapplied correctly, I should be fine. She was right. The next time I had my nails done was a month later, in Montana. The nail tips and base, which Lily had put on, held up perfectly. The education that Lily gave me about the proper application and finish work on acrylics made me more able to tell the Montana technician exactly what I expected. I recently had my nails done, after another month on the road, in Hinton, Alberta this time, and I am having absolutely no problems with my nails. They look, and feel, great. If I hadn't gone to Lily in April, I don't think my nails would be looking so good now, or that I would have the peace of mind about acrylics that I have developed through Lily's advice and skill. I'll be back in Foxboro next summer. I look forward to having Lily do my nails then, and thanking her in person. read more

Was looking for a new salon since the place I typically go to is consistently a stressful experience rather than a relaxing experience. I was seated with Sammi for a fill on my acrylic nails and I explained to her about past experiences of other technicians constantly rushing and cutting my cuticles with the dremel. Hoping for a relaxing experience, I was very pleased to see that she was taking her time around my cuticles rather than rushing and she did a fantastic job on my nails! So far no lifting and my nails feel great. I will definitely be back to see if she can repeat the process! read more

Multiple people had told me not to go here but I tried them out because I was close. Worse experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Charged me $45 for a pedicure because they did a "speacial one" even though I never asked for it and they never told me they were doing it. I also got a full set, they cut me 5 times and I ended up going to my normal salon to have them fixed because they looked absolutely awful. Usually I like this nail spa but the past two times I have gone I have had a nail technician with dirty hands and today she cut me with her sharp finger nail and then proceeded to stick her finger nail under my nail to clean out the nail polish making the cut bigger. She then soaked and scrubbed my feet and then clipped my toenails, which are quite uneven. She then began painting my toes. My big and index toes were extremely bumpy underneath the nail polish. Love this place! I came here with my friend after trying in patriots place and they couldn't take us. Foxy nails had a great selection of colors with great fair prices with amazing customer service. They were friendly and nice and actually talked to you. At the end of my pedicure they even offered a commentary bottle of water! Never had that before. We will for sure be back next time we meet up. Worst nail salon I've ever been to (This is coming from a licensed nail tech- with gold metals from competitions). I came here twice because the first time could have just been a fluke, and it's the closest salon to my work... but unfortunately this place is just awful. My first visit (two weeks ago) nothing really stood out in particular besides my gel polish chipping off the same day I had it done. I went today for my second time, and I always keep my natural nails really long, but one of my nails had broken last night, and the woman working on my nails tried so hard to get me to cut all my nails short to match, even though I kept telling her that that wasn't what I wanted. Then another woman came over and said I had to cut my nails because I wanted a french manicure and with my nails being long, it wouldn't look right. Two women on my back telling me to cut my nails when I didn't want them to- that's when I should have just left. So she's painting my nails, and while she does the white tips, she doesn't cover the whole tip of my nail, so you can see the natural white of my nails, so I asked her to thicken the white polish and she says I should have cut my nails and I wouldn't have this problem... uhm, what? THEN before my nails cure she dings my wet thumb nail with the light, and asks if I want her to fix it. Are you kidding me!? Fingers crossed that my nails don't chip before my banquet on Thursday. read more

I've been going to Foxy Nails for a few years, and have never had an unpleasant experience. The manicurist and pedicurist are all very friendly, pleasant and do a great job. Being of the old school, I still get "sculptured nails" which are difficult to do, but Lili always does a fantastic job, and I am always complemented on them. Most people think they are my own! Pedicures are wonderful here, the hot stone message is an added luxury. I've never had a problem with scheduling or just walking in for an appointment and continue to find everyone in there pleasant, and professional. I highly recommend Foxy Nails! read more

If I could give them a ZERO I would. Horrible service and no professionalism whatsoever. Went there on Wednesday with my husband to get a gel mani, pedi (me) and him a regular mani pedi. By Friday I had my first chip. By Saturday almost each finger had a major chip on them. I went back on Sunday to get it fixed, standard practice at a nail salon especially when you pay $25 for a gel mani. When I walked in at 440 (they close at 5) they kept shaking their heads and saying they don't want to stay late and that they would have to call the woman who did my nails on video to show her my nails and have her come down and fix them on Tuesday. What ?!?! I literally was standing there for 5 minutes while they were shaking their heads and attempting to call the woman. I left and said forget it and never again. I came in for a special treat with my 2 yr and 3 1/2 yr old daughters. We were in the area, was told they do children. I was happy that they got us right in and we didn't have to wait. They were very nice and accommodating to me and my daughters. They made me and my girls feel comfortable and were very sweet with my girls. My only complaints were about my own pedicure. As a tired hairstylist and mommy who is always on my feet, the massage was the part I was most looking forward to. The water was slightly warm and I got no exfoliating scrub which my daughters did get. My massage was with a bit of oil and and hot stones. It felt good but literally only lasted about 3 minutes per leg and my feet got no oil, lotion or massage at all!!! The polish job looks good but I'm greatly dissapointed in mine after spending $72.00 and a decent tip per 3 people servicing us!! I regret to say I def will not be coming back. Too much money for a mediocre pedicure on myself who was the one paying. But I'm glad they were really great with my precious daughters!!!! read more

I have been to many nails places in my life. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had here. I went in on a Sunday afternoon for a pedicure/manicure. I was greeted promptly by a very nice man and was taken right away. However, the pedicure was awful. The girl did not cut my nails, did not file them or clean up the cuticles and there was no leg massage at all. Half way through this awful pedicure I told her I didn't have time to get my nails done since at this point, I did not want them touching my nails. She brought me over to dry my feet and then just left me there. Never came back to tell me they were dry or to remove the tissues between my toes. Absolute waste of money. Plus the owner I believe was there and was completely rude to me when she found out I was not staying to get my nails done. Save your money and do it yourself or go somewhere else for a cheaper and better pedicure. read more

This is a fairly good nail salon. I can only testify to their gel manicures, as I have not had other services here. My manis have always lasted a couple of weeks and looked good, although I guess that's the point of the gel manicure in general. The staff is very nice and friendly, and one day when I took my boyfriend's three year old daughter to get a mini manicure, they were so sweet and accommodating to her.
