I was charged for lettuce and tomato! Never in my life have I been charged to put lettuce and tomato on a sandwic. I can understand extra Lettuce or tomato you w have to pay for. I paid $11.50 when the price sign says $9 they don't even tell you lettuce and tomato or whatever other condiments you want are extra money till it's time to pay. read more

The guy who served me was a jerk. He just stared at me without saying hello or anything, didn't tape the wrapping on the sandwich closed or put it in a bag, so it could have just opened up in the car...and then left the sandwich on the other end of the counter and walked away. I had to reach all the way under the plastic shower curtains to grab it. Plus he charged $0.50 more than the posted price, on top of the tax and credit card fee. The sandwich had an off-taste to it and the bread looked like he smashed it down. So it wasn't even good. I can deal with rude service if the sandwich is good, but it wasn't. Two stars, because the price was reasonable for the amount of meat you get. But it's definitely not worth it. I'll never go back. If you don't want new customers, just leave a note on the door so I don't waste my time or money. read more

Good deli sandwiches. Cold cuts are fresh and their home made roast beef is very good. The portions are generous and it is a good value. Their prepared food is very good as well. The meatballs and eggplant parm make great sandwiches, and they cater, too. The only downside is that the prepared food is only available during the week. On the weekends you can only get cold cuts. read more

I told him again and he just walked away after hearing me. I took the sandwich which I shouldn't have and as expected it was not to my liking. The simple solution is not to go back for a long time. Stopped in a couple of times for some pretty good sandwiches. The deli itself is nice and clean, narrowed by the deli counter and goes back a pretty good distance. The first time I came in was for breakfast. I just got a nice and quick ham, egg & cheese sandwich. It was hot and good. That's really all you need I think, a simple breakfast sandwich is either good or bad. The next time I went in, I was looking to get a sandwich for dinner. I decided on the Italian Combo Wedge. I got it with lettuce, tomato, oil & vinegar. The sandwich made it home about 10 minutes away without becoming an inedible soggy mess. The meat and cheese was delicious and everything was fresh. I'll go in and say great sandwich. Both times when I went in it wasn't too busy, I was helped right away and got my order quickly. Besides sandwiches, they do salads and meals, there are prepared meals frozen along the wall in a freezer case, they have a bunch of chips as well as drinks. Nice little spot. read more

I've been going to FraDeli's since I was tiny. They know how to make a good sandwich, and everyone there ends up feeling like family. I moved away and always make sure to stop at FraDeli's each time I visit back home. Their breakfast sandwiches are really tasty and amazingly priced. I also love getting a nice roast beef sandwich with salt, pepper and mayo. A family member likes her roast beef well done and I like mine pretty rare. They will cut from different sides of the meat (and sometimes from a new piece!) to get us the done-ness we like. I also really enjoy the food they have in the case. I'll sometimes pick up a random salad to bring home. It has also been our go-to place for fresh bread or some kaiser rolls. We just had catering made from Fradeli and the Steak and Peppers were so tender and juicy Very Good and the 2 foot heros were as fresh as you can get. I asked for my food to be given to me right out of oven so it would very hot, and they did just that. The mix of olives and sliced thin soppretta was eaten all up as an appetizer. They make homemade mozzarella, and it tastes exactly like what they make in Italy. It is a friendly spot and I enjoy going at least twice a week. Although the sandwiches are pretty good, one of the employees is very rude. The young man who wears glasses acts like he hates being there. He rarely smiles & you have to call him over or he ignores you. Worst time was when I arrived 15min b4 closing & I couldn't tell if they were open--he was walking toward the door where I was standing.(I was outside of door). So I asked "are you open?" I have been going to Fradeli's for years but since moving out of state I get there less and less:(. Luckily, I do manage to get the Chicken Parm a few times each year and have to say it is one of my favorite meals. Not many places do it justice these day. Let me start off by saying, this is definitely NOT the best deli in town. The establishment is dirty (yes, I did see a roach on the floor). There's always spilt coffee and milk on the counter in the back. The workers put on one glove when they make you the sandwich and they use the hand without the glove to make your food??? Wtf! Okay so the not to skinny guy with huge nose took care of me. He charged 9 and change for a sandwich along with a drink..overpriced don't you think?. Wait wait I'm not done.
