This is the closest thing to a Bronx Italian deli that I've experienced in White Plains so far. I first heard of Mamma Rosa's Sons when someone dropped off their menu at my job. Being familiar with Mamma Rosa's in the Bronx, I was curious to see how this similarly named deli stacked up. I had been eating salads for lunch for like two weeks straight so I decided to walk here to get a sandwich today. The deli is pretty spacious, they have a wrap-around display area with more merchandise in the center, as well as some tables to sit and eat. As soon as I walked in I greeted by a man behind the counter - he was super friendly and high energy. Looking over the menu, they have your typical cold cuts as well as some speciality sandwiches. I decided to try their grilled chicken sandwich - it came with lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard on a roll. The sandwich was very good - they didn't skimp on the grilled chicken and it was the perfect size. I don't know why, and said it was soggy and tastes funny. Inedible actually. Will never order from here again. Placed an order for a sandwich and pasta salad at 11:45AM. Seamless aid 20-30min for delivery. When i got the confirmation, it said delivery 12:45-12:55. Called at 1:10 about my order. Owner says "sorry sweetheart, we're very busy, all deliveries are over an hour" i told him i wanted to cancel. He said " sorry i already made it and the delivery guy is going to pick it up in the next 20min" . He refused to cancel. Order arrived at 1:30pm and sandwich was very mediocre. Pasta salad blah. The sicilian special combo was supposed to come with chips - didn't come with chips, and the sandwich didn't have the right ingredients. When I called, I spoke to the OWNER and he told me that i got what i ordered, combos don't come with chips, and that seamless had the wrong item on their menu.
