She is patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in making sure I was thrilled with the outcome. An artist in her own right, Monica showed me her art. I immediately fell in love with her painting "If you were a blonde" which is a colorful, bright, mixed media piece that simply embodies joy. In the end, I left with three pieces of art and am so lucky to call this painting my own (especially with its new chunky red frame!). FrameStore was my first choice to frame 4 treasured items (including a paper "snowflake" made by a wonderful woman who is now sight-impaired and some irreplaceable foreign campaign posters), and I am very happy with the results. Monica has a great artistic eye for design and detail, and she and I worked together to create the perfect mounting and frame for each piece. The work was finished ahead of schedule, Monica communicated clearly and kept me apprised of progress, and the price (with discounts) was fair for the quality of the finished product and the exceptional customer service. Do not shop at this establishment. Employees are rude, not cooperative, and extremely unhelpful. They will convince you to drive down and give them an example of how you would like an item framed. Then they will leave the store for you to watch over while they go to the little girls room. DO NOT GO THERE. If Monica is working at the store turn around and walk out. You will know it's her because she has hand drawn cards for sale at the location upon entry into the store. They have terrible prices and will try to charge you $700-$900 for a frame that you can have done at Aaron Brothers for under $200. read more

I have known Monica at the Framestore in Brentwood for several years now. She has a very keen, artistic eye for framing including not only the frame itself, but also the material for the mat (if any), whether to include an inner, smaller frame that surrounds the art piece to be set off against the mat, and then the frame itself. I have had Monica assist me in framing diplomas, posters, photos, watercolors, and oil paintings and I have been ever so pleased with her recommendations and the stunning results. Monica at the Frame Store in Brentwood is a true artist. She invested a great deal of time with me, considered my tastes and preferences and valued my every idea. A true collaborative effort. She pushed me a little outside my comfort zone and the result was eye popping.
