Last time I was at a laundry mat was when I was in college so I didn't have very high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. It was very clean, with rows and rows of washers and dryers. Different sizes of washers, depending on our needs. All machines took quarters or use of a app- It was much more expensive than I expected but the process and time spent at Soapy Jane's was painless. If I ever need a laundry mat again, I'll definitely come back to Soapy Jane's.

They were responsive to my texts and call and promptly picked up my laundry, asked what service i required and trusted me enough to not charge me until the laundry was done as I handed off my laundry on the day i was leaving for home in Texas. They went beyond the norm and pressed my clothes and folded it nicely and were awesome enough to deliver it back to me when i returned back for work. I can't recommend them and their service enough and their prices are fair. I'll be using them often and have recommended their service to my fellow coworkers.

Ok I wasn't in a rush. When I went back they hurried me through pickup and didn't point out the large number of new stains that they had put on the item. I went back the next day after noticing the new stains and was told I was a liar and that no refund would be given. Very disappointed. I understand mistakes happen but the cleaner should have taken responsibility and at a very bare minimum refunded the cleaning price.

A few months ago, I brought a suit in for dry cleaning and when I got the dress shirts back the buttons had some white flakes coming off them. I took it back and they said it might be some cleaning product deposit and could be scratched off. Cool, but ideally something they should have caught and fixed themselves. 2. Today I brought my suit in to drop off for cleaning 20 minutes before closing only for the man behind the counter to say "sorry we just closed 5 minutes ago because I want to get out of here early." Not only was he unwilling to accept my drop-off, he seemed extremely unapologetic and out of it (was he sober? I hope so) during the whole conversation, and also twice referenced "it's a Sunday" (it was Tuesday) as if that explains why he decided to close early. Terrible customer service. Due to these interactions, I think I will take my dry cleaning elsewhere from now on. I hope the business is able to clean up their practices in the future!

Art Cleaners…read moreis not the cheapest place to get your shirts washed and pressed, but they really do a great, reliable job. A few years ago, I used some random cleaner in Boulder. After a while, they began to have a problem whereby my clothes would come back with a funky odor. They couldn't prevent (or explain) the smell, and I finally switched to the Art Cleaners location near my office. I used them for a year or two and they were great. Then I thought I could save a bit of money by switching to a cleaner near my house. Guess what? My clothes started picking-up that same, nasty funk that they got from the other joint. Again, they couldn't explain it, couldn't prevent it and didn't seem able to really even take it seriously. Bye bye. So I'm back to Art Cleaners, at this, their new Longmont location. By the way, I love that they don't use perc (perchloroethylene, a carcinogenic solvent that is the standard for dry cleaning). They use the 'GreenEarth' brand process, using a form of liquid silicone that is, apparently, nontoxic and better for fabric.

However, the quality and consistency seem to have eroded quite badly as of late. Regrettably, we will not be using Art Cleaners anymore. If it wasn't for Chantelle and her great customer service, I would've rated this place with ZERO stars. Despite the exceptional customer service provided by Chantelle, the overall experience was unsatisfactory. I had taken a tuxedo and a tuxedo shirt to have them professionally pressed. I specificaly requested my pants have a sharp crease. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter lacked knowledge about suits and mistakenly ordered the pants to be starched. Wool dress slacks, in contrast, do not require starching. We promptly contacted the company to request a change to "no starch." My tuxedo was scheduled to be ready the following day. Then my anxiety inducing nightmare started and went on for a good week! Upon my first visit, I noticed that the pants were crease-free and pressed flat, resembling women's dress slacks. The jacket remained wrinkled, and my shirt was poorly pressed. The entire outfit was in such horrible shape as if a fifth-grader had pressed my outfit! A manager named Tori was contacted and agreed to rectify the situation and have the tuxedo ready that evening. Unfortunately, Tori neglected to communicate the order to the plant. After three additional visits and enduring a week of frustration and anxiety, I requested that the tuxedo be delivered to me without them doing anything further. By this time, the manager's incompetence and lack of internal communication were clearly evident. Finally, after a week of this ordeal, I picked up my Tux and the shirt, only to have it redone by different cleaner in town. While I refrain from naming employees when service is subpar, management is a different matter. Managers are compensated to receive public criticisms when they are incompetent. Therefore, manager Tori must improve in numerous ways or this business will be in trouble. As for Chantelle, they are lucky to have an employee of that caliber!

A friend who helped with this huge "wash day event" was so impressed that she said she'd come from Arvada whenever big machines are needed. I have always had a good experience here...good, clean, new machines. The owner is always helpful. I go on weekdays early to avoid crowds. There are coffee shops nearby too, which makes doing laundry a more palatable chore. Although I've never paid to have my laundry done, the clothes I see hanging and folded ( that they do) look really nice. If I were going to hire this job out, this is where I would take it.

Next door pedicure rags get dried in dryers without machine washing... dryers stink and it smells like a swamp sprayed with cheap perfume in there. Don't get their wash and fold delivery service, your clothing will magically disappear. Get yourself your own washers and line dry folks, the greedies keep coming. Also an abundance of broken glass ( pipes?) on floor and in dryers... also, candy and toy machines don't work, don't put your money here. Good thing they have a gambling machine to keep all the homeless occupied.
