First time I went here the owner (I think he is at least, it's the guy usually at the front) convinced me to get SNS dip nails instead of gel and I've never looked back. They seriously last so long, They last a month before I have to get them done again. My nails also feel healthier and stronger versus when I used to do gel. The SNS dip nails also don't chip like gel used to do for me all the time. I definitely only get my nails done by Amy. I'm sure the rest of the ladies are good too but I can only speak about my experience with Amy- she's gentle, really sweet, and does an amazing job each time. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. This is easily one of the worst nail salons I have encountered in Queens Village, and I would never spend another dollar here. The poor customer service was apparent almost immediately. The attitudes, smirks, dismissive behavior, and overall lack of professionalism made it seem as though simply walking through the door and asking for a service was somehow an inconvenience to them. When I asked for gel nails with a design, they stared at my nails and acted completely confused by what I was requesting--as though gel with a design were some unheard-of service at a nail salon. If you don't want to provide a service, SAY THAT. Don't stand around smirking, giving customers attitude, and making them feel unwelcome. People are spending their hard-earned money and should not have to tolerate rude, dismissive behavior just to get their nails done. I left utterly disgusted with this establishment. Maria was the only person who was remotely pleasant, and even her work was mediocre at best. Being slightly nicer than everyone else does not make up for an overall terrible experience. Save your money. There are far too many nail salons in Queens to spend your money somewhere that makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by serving you. I personally stopped liking this nail salon because I always ended up getting horrible nails due to the nail polishes they use or something. Whether them being transparent, just never ever drying, smell- whatever But one day I needed to come in because I needed to have my nails cleaned up. You know, cutting the cuticles and just filing down the nails. I usually go all the way to elmhurst for that to this other lady but I was tired and decided to go local. I ended up paying 30$ just for a clean up. Both my hands and feet. However with no nail polish, no treatment, nothing. I haven't even spend more than 30 minutes in there. The work wasn't even that crazy as each nail basically had a different nail shape. I'm afraid to ask how much people pay for acrylics if a clean up is just 30$. The other place I got to, I only pay 15$ for a clean up. Acrylics with designs and all are 90$. Because really why is it so expensive. I am from CT. I went to this location because it was close to where I was. I requested purple color changing and ended up with two different colors. They did my toes and nails at the same time ( leaving no room for objections). I paid $82 and on my way out the owner stated "you can add a tip" although I clearly scratched it off on the receipt. Now embarrassed I added $5 tip and then he stated "$5 is for her?". I was so done, he talks to his employees and customers like they are stupid. This place is not sanitary at all. I wanted a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Be prepared for Tommie to give you his best sales pitch on why you should get SNS (aka dip powder) where they dip everyone's finger in the same powder instead of using a spatula to scoop it out (yes- utilizing the spatula is the proper way of doing it). They don't have complimentary colors; meaning, if you get gel manicure and you want a regular pedicure in the same color they don't have it. Thus, I had to switch my color twice because I prefer to have the same color. Next, they use community nail instruments (see pic). The plastic holder with the instruments are the same instruments that they use with the person who sat before you without sterilizing them. After my pedicure was done, I watched my nail tech pick up the same plastic holder with the instruments she used on me to do someone else's manicure- HELLO FUNGUS FEET & HANDS. No, I don't have fungus feet but if I did, then it would've been easily spread. Lastly, there was residual toe jam in my toes and I asked my nail tech to remove it when another nail tech who looked over told me that's just the color of my toes. -_- No it wasn't sir. Came April.9th right after I got my hair done across the street for the first time & it was sometime after 6 or close to 7. The air was stuffy inside & the staff really don't welcome you. I got my manicure and half way through it, she wanted the payment. She didn't even finish cleaning my nail or even paint it and as soon as she swiped my card, she's begging for tip! It's very disappointing that after 5 years I won't be going back to this nail salon. The woman who I normally get my nails done with (Annie) is no longer there. I decided to try the new girl that works there (Wendy). I had the SNS done on May 11th, 2019 for Mother's Day. SNS powder gel is suppose to last anywhere between 2-4 weeks. A week later on May 17th, the SNS nail polish came off on 3 of my nails. I called and spoke to the owner on May 20th, 2019 and he said to come in. I made it clear I could not come in right away because I have a baby and I also work late so I won't have the time until weekend. I went into the salon on Friday, May 24th, 2019 and spoke with the owner again and he said he will fix/redo my nail. They were busy so I asked if it was okay if I came back on Saturday instead. The owner said yes that would be better. No problem! Saturday I went into the nail salon and explain the situation to Wendy who had no idea what I was saying but started to do my nails anyway. At the end of doing my nails, she told me the full price and I told her that I spoke with the owner and he said he will fix it. She had no idea what I was saying so she went and got the owner. He came to me and I explained that I called and then he said why didn't I come in the same time I had an issue. I told him I work and would not be available until weekend which is what I initially said to him. The reason why I made it a priority to write this review is his response. He said if I had customers like you I won't be in business. Now let's get this right. It's customers like me who come in every two weeks for the past 5 years to get my nails done that keeps your business blooming. I never complained about my nails but the one time I complained makes me a terrible customer. I paid him the what he charged me but I would never go back because of the way I was treated. There was no need to be so loud so that everyone else knows what's going on. P.S your entire staff needs to work on their attitude, customer service skills and more importantly speak English. read more

For starters, if you have a plane to catch try somewhere else. This place is surprisingly packed for the very poor service they offer. You will be waiting for hours at this shitty nail salon. Tony is the worst person there to do nails, he left the SNS MADD THICK and bumpy on my nails. My nails look like the side of Mount Everest. He saw and admitted how awful my nails looked and still charged the filling whopping amount. $70 damn US dollars for a manicure and pedicure!!! This was a huge rip off. I have been getting my nails done here for quite a while. I always get it done with Amy, she is super gentle and does my nails perfectly. There are other workers , who do the job fine too, but most of them aren't gentle. The owner Peter, he is very rough. One time he poked my skin around my nails and it left a mark , the same day , he also was so busy talking, he made a nail hit my eye and 5 minutes. He didn't even apologize for it, which was very frustrating for me. I hate coming here when Amy isn't there because 9/10 times , I leave with a bad experience. If I could give them a 0 I would! Where to begin.. I was seated quickly and a young man approached to do my nails. I could tell immediately he was new and didn't have much experience. I decided to give him an opportunity, but was that a mistake. He barely cleaned my feet and the paint job was ok.. we moved to do my manicure and that's when all hell broke loose.. I wanted my nails painted white, he didn't properly clean my cuticles, My nails were all different lengths and the paint job was horrendous and it was especially noticeable because it was white. It gets worse, I complained to the owner who you would think is good at doing nails and he did an even worse job at painting them than the young man, looks like a 5 year old painted them. He did a terrible paint job and kept messing up my other nails while he was painting .. how is that possible as a profesional and the owner?! $23 gone in the garbage, PLEASE do not come here, it was my first and last time in this horrible place. read more

Since Annie left, this place has been deteriorating. I went for a SNS manicure and was very disappointed with the way my nails were shaped and the application of the powder-based nail coating. She applied the coating very tick causing my nails to look a bit rough. When I complained toTony, he brushed me off and refused to correct the mistake. They also don't disinfect their tools and spa chairs properly making it very unsafe. STAY AWAY from this place!!! read more

Honestly if I could give this place a lower rating I would. Myself along with two other customers came in and wanted to get one mani pedi and two acrylic sets. When we informed the workers he gave us a long speech about how SNS is the best thing for you. While we waited, he was very rude to us. By the time it was our turn, he asked us what we wanted and we informed him that only one of us was having acrylic tips and we do not want the SNS. He proceeded to put the nail extension on. When we asked him about why he took out the SNS powder then he said that they do not do Acrylic at all. It would have saved us time and money if he had told us this from the beginning when we asked for acrylic. It was extremely disrespectful that he insisted on us getting SNS. He kept saying we are young, and we should get SNS. It wasn't until we asked him what he's doing he told us they don't do acrylic. We would have left immediately. I will not be coming back here.
