I came here with my mom, and we both got the $30 pedicure. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment and honestly felt like a waste of our money. For $30, all they did was trim our nails and apply nail polish. There was no massage, no exfoliation, no real foot care--nothing The entire service was over in LITERALLY 10 minutes. I've been to other Vietnamese /Korean nail salons where a regular $25 pedicure includes a relaxing 5 minute massage and a full 30-minute service. Compared to that, paying over $30 here for such a service ... To make matters worse, the technician was holding my toes so tight that I accidentally smudged the polish when I moved. Instead of handling it professionally, she seemed irritated with me. The interaction left a bad impression. I wanted to say something. But she looked rude and looked like she doesn't speak much English. This is just a warning for anyone considering the basic pedicure: For $30 it is a trim, wash and color. The worse pedicure in my life. They charged me $32 to poorly trim my nails. They are not just uneven but the sides have piece of longer nails hanging. I asked the lady to please clean my nails and she either didn't understand or refused to do it. Forget about cleaning the sole of your feet. She didn't clean a thing. Left me worse than how I can. Don't let the interior design fool you! It's beautiful, modern. But it is dirty, the tools used were already used from previous customers. The prep for nails are very improper and not executed correctly. Didn't cut my cuticle, didn't dehydrate my nails. Just drilled it and primed. Not enough. Then I asked for gel nails! I got acrylic!!!! The language barrier is difficult but i didn't mind until I had to practically tell her how to do my nails properly before she overly played on my nails. The nails have no shape, very thin, it's like there isn't a shape to it. I asked for almond and i got it but it's very flat. This is NOT what I asked and charged ME extra?! I got my toes done too, improper prep and the polish job? TRASH! My toes aren't even fully coated. The worker even brought out his vape in front of me! It is a new nail spa that opened up in Hillside and Francis Lewis mini shopping center. I really liked this spot. The prices were reasonable. I spent $60 for the gold pedicure package. I have been going here since they upended a few years back I have never had a problem they do what I wanted but yesterday was a horrible experience I was charged $86 for a regular pedicure that literally took the girl 10 minutes to do there was no cleaning of my cuticles my toenails are scrubbing my feet then I proceeded to get a plane clear gel manicure after all the years of going here I've never been charged to remove polish I know most nail salons charge you if you're moving a full set and not getting anything done but I did get my nails done it took half an hour for them to do my nails and toes the guy filed my nails so thin that you could actually see the blood vessels in my nail bed my finger fingers hurt so bad right now I'm in so much pain and they charged me $86 for horrible service over $20 to remove existing polish that I had on my nails I usually don't pay that much when I get a gel pedicure and a filling with a design when I question it the guy looked at me like I was speaking a different language and was very nasty told me I had to pay or get out so I paid my bill and I left and I will never go back there again especially since when I walk in all the nail tech fight to service me because I'm an excellent tipper this will never happen again never go there again read more

The salon is very spacious with an elegant touch to it. The price is fair for the fancy service they provide. They also serve alcoholic drinks besides tea and water. The spacious salon is divided by pedicure and manicure areas. I did not venture to get my lashes done but they have another area deeper in the salon for that. They use high quality products and do many designs. I felt very relaxed and pampered here. It's not like any salon I've been to. My first time there, I thought the place was nice the way they decorated it. I only went for a pedicure not a gel, but a pedicure. There was a discrepancy in the price in the end. The girl said she told me 50.00, and I asked her three times was she saying 15.00? she said yes, each time. That was supposed to be for a mani and pedicure. Mine you I didn't want a manicure to begin with but since she said $15.00 although it didn't make sense I did. So, I was furious in the end, and to make matters worse, the nail polish came off three fingers the same day after washing dishes. The following day, it came off on the other hand on one finger. I didn't bother to go back because I had a prior engagement. I have no intention of ever going back to a place that puts on cheap nail polish. I understand they are a new business, but it looks like they opened this salon with employees who are not well-trained in doing nails. *This is the WORST nail salon experience I've had, and I will not be returning to or recommending this salon*. My experience: I went to the salon with a nail design I wanted, and asked 3 employees before starting if they could do the design. All 3 employees told me yes, it would be easy. I had my gel pedi first, and there was a language barrier (he didn't know words like "cut" or "file", which are important words in a nail salon). I had to keep picking up the nail clippers MYSELF and putting it at the length I wanted on ALL of my nails... I may as well have clipped my nails on my own. My toenails looked CRAZY after filing. I have some round nails and some slanted square nails. The gel polish application was fine. *This gel pedi took 1.5hrs - this was NOT a spa pedicure and did not include a massage or callus remover.* I've had 30min gel pedicures that look waaay better. My dip powder mani is where it went from bad to worse. I'll skip some detail and highlight only the worst parts: 1. They do not wrap your nails to remove old powder. They make you soak it in pure acetone, which is horrible for your natural nails. 2. While one of my hands was soaking, the guy doing my nails tried to use nail tips (that they normally glue onto your nails) to PRY OFF the dip powder on my other hand, even though I told him that was hurting. He ended up BREAKING one of my natural nails at the base of the nail which hurt SOO BAD. He then used a nail clipper to cut that nail all the way down. Because I asked him to stop using the nail tips to pry off the old powder, I had to soak that hand in acetone too. FRESHLY BROKEN NAIL IN ACETONE = PAIN! Afterward, he glued a tip over top the raw nail bed. 3. My nails are uneven in length and shape. Some are longer and some are shorter. He didn't compare lengths/shapes of nails to one another. 4. No matter what you ask for, they'll try to get you to do UV gel instead. I heard the same thing happen to like 4 other people around me. Maybe it's because they're more experienced with that? 5. He couldn't do the design that he and 2 other people confirmed that they could do. *Why would you tell people you can do a design if you know you CAN'T do it?* I would have never sat for a mani-pedi if they said they couldn't do that design! He ended up just putting some thin French tips on SOME nails, and it looks HORRIBLE (uneven lines). I would have NEVER chosen that design for myself and was over trying to communicate what I wanted. I regret that I had to pay for this experience at all. At the end, I just wanted to leave and get my nails redone at my usual salon. I got at this salon at 5PM and I left at 8:30PM, so be prepared for a long visit if you're doing a mani-pedi. I wanted to support the new neighborhood business, but I will NOT be going back. Please train all employees on how to do all types of nail shapes, techniques, and designs. Do NOT tell customers you can do something if you know you cannot do it, or try to convince customers to do something that they don't want. Pros: 1. The salon is beautiful and clean! It is the most pretty and well-designed salon I've been to. 2. Nail color selection is great, and is nicely presented in a book. However, the gel nail polish color does not always look like the color that was in the book. This happened to myself and another lady I was chatting with, who got her color changed as a result. 3. The luxury aesthetic and free drink hide the lack in quality and customer service. I came here yesterday for a mani, deluxe pedi and a face wax. The lady cut into my toes and fingers and there was so much blood one of the others girls was staunching the blood while the other was painting my nails; my fingers and toes still hurt. Also the lady bumped into my hands when waxing my face and messed up my manicure on 3 nails, both hands. My face was still sticky and she didn't even get all the hair despite upcharging me 40$ for my whole face. I've also started to break out on my neck and cheeks so I don't know how clean the wax they're using is, because I've been to plenty of places and never had this happen. 125$ of pure waste, will not be returning read more

The girl who did my pedicure was so gentle I actually fell asleep. I usually expect a little pain during the cuticle cutting and nail filing (which is bad), but there was none at all. I have a hard time relaxing when my feet are being touched, but she was so gentle that I relaxed into unconsciousness. The gel manicure was equally gentle, and I was happy with the results. Unfortunately, it chipped the next day when I was peeling an onion. But I came in to have it fixed and they fixed it right away at no charge. I will be back because the environment was so pleasant. It is also (important!) SUPER CLEAN, which is my biggest concern with nail salons. They use fresh, prepackaged tools every time. This attention to hygiene will definitely bring me back as a customer. I did not avail myself of the free drinks because I do not drink alcohol, fruit juice or soda. Some tea would have been nice, but this is the most minor of complaints. I was surprised to walk in and see such a beautiful place. I feel like it doesn't belong in this neighborhood. I love that there are many colors to choose from. The lady that did my nails spoke no English. She didn't know what "one more coat" meant. The gel and regular polish I choose as a set did not match in color. The lady did not file my nails properly and she didn't clean my nails throughly before applying the gel polish which left me having bumps all over my nails. However there is a language barrier when you ask for something and they keep yessing you but they don't really understand, and you have to keep repeating yourself when you relized they didnt understand.My nails were shaped crooked and the dip powder wasn't to the edges. Loved the color and the guy was sweet but I think they need a refresher on how to dip nails cause they were dipping it way too many times causing movement in the coating, ive done dip for many years and do it myself at home sometimes. The expirence doing the nails wasn't relaxing cause about 10 of the workers were crowding the station watching the guy do my nails. I had to come home and fix my shape myself. One of my nails has a separation from the tip already and I'll have to fix that also with some glue because i dont need water getting in and creating a fungus. The pediaticure was okay, friendly woman, new packaged tools, neat polish and good scrub but for the price of 35 plus 10 additional for calus remover which she didnt tell me, it didn't include not even a basic massage for a few mins at least to just lotion my legs n feet. Don't let the look of this place fool you! It's beautiful on the inside, and it definitely looks like a place I would love to go and get my nails done often, but honestly speaking, the service is horrible. The one good thing is that they offer complementary drinks while getting your nails done. I understand that they are newly opened, but if they can't get simple things right, then I don't see myself going there repeatedly. Remember,the first impression is the lasting impression. I decided to give this place a shot because the one nail salon that i loved used to be in this little plaza, and then moved to another location over 10 years ago, so it was nice to see that we gained another nail salon. Service - The service really needs to be addressed. They are very welcoming, but there is a strong language barrier, and it is very hard to communicate your concerns when you notice something is wrong. I came in here for a UV gel set, and all I kept saying to myself was, "Just trust the process," and in the end it was horrible. The guy put the tips on crooked and cut them crooked so my nails looked crooked even at the end. The tips also were cut to different lengths, so my nails do not look even. I showed the design to the nail tech, and he agreed that he would be able to do it. When he started the first hand doing the design, he didn't follow how the design looked, and on the other hand, he started doing something else completely different. I didn't want to say anything at the time, so I allowed him to finish, and then I realized that nothing on my other hand looked like the other. I asked him for a specific design which he did on one hand and the other he choose his own design that didnt match my other hand. At this point, it was already 2 hours of sitting here, and I was becoming really frustrated. Another thing that really made it unpleasant is that everyone wanted to hover over the nail tech while he worked on my nails, and that was very uncomfortable. Also, while being there, a woman showed up and complained about her Dip Powder Manicure lifting and splitting, when it was done the day before. When I heard that, I knew I was not going to have a pleasant outcome. Another customer made a great point, which I barely realized because I had done UV Gel on my nails. She did a regular mani and pedi with regular polish, and there was no nail dryer in sight. So the customer basically had to walk out with undried nails after her mani and pedi were complete. Overall, this was not the experience I wanted to have. Especially in this neighborhood. I grew up here my entire life and seen so many businesses thrive in this little plaza, but for sure, this nail salon will not last due to the lack of customer service, communication, time management, knowledge, experience and skills. The workers all seem fresh out of school and do not understand simple directions. I was very unhappy and embarrassed with my nails. The prices are very expensive considering the service and outcome. Please train your staff to better communicate with customers and understand what they are asking. People are paying money for an experience they want to leave happy with. The salon is absolutely beautiful and it is a great addition to the neighborhood. I was excited that I would be able to experience a posh place close to home without having to go to the city or somewhere in Long Island. My excitement was crushed by two experiences. The day after their grand opening, I stopped in to have my eyebrows cleaned up. They quickly seated me. An attendant came over and was fiddling with the wax machine . She walked away and then someone else came over and just stood there. After 5 minutes, I asked what is happening. The lady dod not understand what I saying and the other person never came back. I got up. The lady said eait, wait. I said, no thank you. I need to leave. I decided to give them another try this week. I needed a gel soak off, regular mani and a pedi. PEDI Issue 1: the person helping me did not speak English well. I asked for a coke instead of the lemonade they gave me but she did not understand and had to have someone else come over and assist me. Issue 2: I don't have gel on my toes so there was no need for the electronic buffer thing that they use. I hate that machine. I told her I did not have gel, so there was no need to use it. I told her to stop. She likely did not understand me. Issue 3: several people at different points time came to observe. That was the tell tale sign that she was in training or something. It was very annoying. Also, she was slow. Issue 4: a regular pedi everywhere comes with a general massage of the leg and feet.This did not which was surprising. The pedi looks really good though so I am grateful for that. On to my nails: While I was having my pedi done, you would think she would have been soaking off my gel. Nope, she did not which is a time waste. I was not in a rush so I figured they would do it after. Well she brought out the machine. At this point, I went with it. After she buffed off the first layer, I washed my hands. I could still see some of the left over gel on some of my nails. The 5 different people that came over to hover should have seen it as well but they said nothing. She did not lotion nor massage my hands, she did not put oil on the cuticle to prep for the cut. I asked her to stop using the machine and to use the regular buffer. The square shape was horrendous. My nails were very sharp, like I literally could have clawed someone. I asked her to round it out but she could not understand me. I had to take the file and show her what I meant. At this point, it is time for the color. After two nails, I asked to see and I noticed that my nail beds looked terrible. They were uneven. Again, the 5 different people that kept coming over and the one woman who was siting next to her the whole time said nothing. I was ready to go at this point and asked her to take it off and just use clear. She spoke into her phone and showed me the translation which was asking me if she could use the sandpaper to smooth out the beds. I pointed to the machine and she said yes. I said ok since they really looked terrible. She finished put the clear and that was that. I did give her an $8 tip because she performed a service but overall I was not happy. While there, a woman was complaining that you could see where the acrylic started and ended. The guy doing her nails did not know what he was doing. Someone else stepped in. Improvements Needed Staff with knowledgeable people that speak the language. While I was there, the front desk guy and another woman (possibly the owner) were the only two that seemed fluent. I understand the need to train people, but more experienced staff should be working here. The low seat to use when drying will not accomodate everyone. I was ok with it, but hopefully you have other seats for people to use if needed. The wheels are a hazard. Soak offs - consider using cotton soaked remover with plastic gloves. It helps to save the nail beds. Pedi - more has to be on offer with the basic pedi. See comments above. Hovering - stop the constant hovering. It is annoying. I went to this nail salon last week since it's right by my house wanted to try them out, I had tips on my hand so I wanted to get a gel mani and pedi so they sat me down and the guy that was doing my hands was very ruff he didn't even soak off the tips he was using a drill to remove it and he kept hurting me and being aggressive I had to keep moving my hand because it was hurting and I told him it's too hot and he just kept going, then when it's time to get my pedicure done I was asking the girl if she can see if there's an ingrown nail because my toes was hurting alittle I had to keep asking her she was just looking at me like I was dumb. Nail Polish peeled off in less than 48 hours. . Nails cracked and broke because whatever they use is not water resistant. And $53 to rub off is crazy work. 2 1/2 and I have to help y'all figure out what to do . Place "looks" way too fancy to be using cheap nail polish while having Unsanitary conditions as well.
