I LOVED. Finding a place with reliable and delicious (and generous portions) for takeout is no easy feat! Their large meat lovers pizza was PHENOMENAL. And HUGE. The slices were huge and there were eight of them. The Greek salad portions were also huge and every single piece of vegetable or lettuce in the salad was fresh as can be. No soggy lettuce! The dressing was also great. The wings were well cooked and not overdone and the BBQ sauce with it was great. The meatball appetizer also did not disappoint and had so much extra sauce I added it to some precooked homemade spaghetti and had another whole meal from just that. I give this place a solid 5/5 and we will definitely be back. For the price of chick-fil-a I was able to feed my husband, two kids, father in law, and myself. read more

Saturday 3/23/24 1pm I have ordered (to go) 3x this week. Each time the chef salad. It was very good and the ingredients were fresh each time. Today I wanted another chef salad and since it's Saturday I decided to eat in. I will say I'm particular about my salad. I wanted Romain lettuce instead of regular lettuce. I did not want any green olives and I wanted to add a boiled egg. Not too complicated. It was 1pm and they were not busy at all. It was about 25 minutes later I had to ask where my food was. The young lady, who was VERY nice said they had to boil the egg. My response was it takes 5 minutes to boil an egg. My food came out shortly thereafter. Franco's has been one my go to take out spot when I'm craving comfort Italian food. Their lasagna, full of meat and cheese, warms my belly. It comes with plenty of sauce and I love the option of a small entree size, which I order most evenings and a great value, or the full size entree. This also comes with garlic bread knots but if you are craving more, their garlic cheese bread is very good. My favorite though is the tiramisu. It's just the right amount for my sweet tooth but all the flavors you want in your dessert. Firm but light and delicious. My orders have also been 100% correct & packed ready to go without a mess. I ordered the tour of Italy however, once I got home, I discovered the order was incorrect. Instead, I was given an order of spaghetti and an order of Angel hair pasta with meat sauce. When I called back to address the concern, the employee told me that she packed order herself and that the chef confirmed the order and there was no way that it could be incorrect. Basically saying she didn't believe me. I told her i would bring the food back to confirm. The older gentleman apologized and recooked my order. I have dined there at least once during the week over the past three weeks. Once with my husband. I love going there! The lunches I've enjoyed have been consistently fresh and created with the finest ingredients . The fettuccine Alfredo is created perfectly. The sauce is definitely homemade. It's not too oily or salty. It has a subtle hint of garlic and perfect flavor. Please Add chicken and broccoli. It is a meal you will love. I chose dinner portion but they have a selection of pastas available in smaller portions too. I prefer leftovers for dinner. lol. My husband loved his lasagna. Very authentic with plenty of cheeses and tasty sauce The side Caesar salad we added was wonderful start for our lunch. Crisp romaine, fresh parm and excellent salad dressing. Very tasty I have tried the lunch personal sized pizza twice. Excellent both times. It is Huge and great deal for $12.99. It comes with one topping and soda. I enjoy a glass or two of Chardonnay with my lunch and they have a nice selection of good wine. I love atmosphere, sipping my wine and enjoying a nice solo lunch. She takes excellent care of me every visit! I'm never rushed and I appreciate her answering questions I have about the menu. She is Always welcoming, polite and does it with a smile. She is quite a gem and I have enjoyed stopping in for a quiet solo lunch before I tackle Kroger grocery shopping. I've yet to try the desserts offered, but plan too. I was on this side of town with my boyfriend and decided to give this place a try on a Friday night. It was a pretty busy evening for them for both eating in and take outs. We didn't wait too long to be seated, to get our drinks and order. We also got our salad pretty much right after we ordered. However, we noticed that all the tables around us looked disgruntled because their food was taking so long to arrive. We shortly joined that train as we waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. There were no apologies or explanations as to why our food was taking so long, just quite a few "your food is coming out shortly", "your food is coming right out", etc. Just as we were getting ready to put on our coats to leave, our food finally came out. My boyfriend got the spaghetti with sausage and I got the seafood portofino. The spaghetti tasted ok, but I feel like I could have made something tastier at home. The sausage was sliced thinly like pepperoni and wasn't really satisfying. The seafood portofino was really disappointing and unappetizing. The mussels were cut into very small pieces that I didn't even realize what they were until half way through my meal, I just thought they didn't put any in. I will say that their Caesar salad that came with the meal was very tasty and their dressing seems homemade. It's not enough for me to want to come back anytime soon. If I'm craving Italian, I'm sure I can find another place that has it together. read more

I was craving some authentic Italian food and I'd always see this spot when visiting my nearby Target and Kroger. Plus, it was getting late on a Sunday and was the only place that closed at 10PM. When we walked in, it wasn't busy at all but we were greeted by staff and sat immediately. The atmosphere of this this place was so authentic, loved this. I ordered the Small Shrimp Alfredo since at restaurants the pasta portion is always so much... the small is also still a lot of pasta! Definitely get your money's worth here. I was a little bummed that the garlic bread wasn't very garlicky.. but the food was amazing. The only reason I wouldn't come back is because both me and my bf who enjoyed this meal with me had upset stomachs. But, I'd encourage you to try! read more

However I dined in with my son last week and ordered the caprese salad and the tomatoes were so hard my fork couldn't cut them. They were no where being ripe. The tomatoes should be ripe since this is 50% of the salad. I usually order it and it's always been great, that's why I only dropped it one star. Got the to go food. I ordered the Alfredo chicken pasta and a cannoli. The garlic knot rolls were really good, my hubby ate the salad. The pasta was ok, but it was just really oily and it just didn't sit well in my stomach. I also ordered the cannoli which was very good and delish. I am an absolute fan! My pasta was perfectly al dente, the Alfredo sauce was thick and flavorful, the bleu cheese dressing was real bleu cheese, and the little bread knots were fantastic. I ordered the baked ziti with a house salad and it was amazing. The ziti was smothered in baked cheese and definitely resulted in having leftovers. We ordered calamari rings as an appetizer. They were good, but the entree was plenty of food by itself. I didn't order dessert tonight but they had several options for $4.25. Our server was very attentive and checked back on us regularly throughout our visit. It literally seemed like every time I finished my water she was right there with a refill for me. I come here off and on not usually to much of a issue but both waitresses see a line forming at the counter and just go sit at a table and leave us up there with nothing being said and a cook came out and just said hi. Pizza by the slice is a great deal, and the portion is generous. Throw a salad in there (I recommend the greek salad) and you have a meal. We always ask for our pizza to be "well done" and if you like your pizza to have a little scorched crust you should consider this, they will gladly accommodate. The subs are fine, comparable to other pizza houses. If you come in for lunch they have a lunch special "pick your own sub" for $7.99 that includes fries plus soup or salad. Francos is a decent option for dine in or takeout if you're craving Americanized Italian food and lots of it. I've tried the Penne alla Vodka ($13.95) and the Spaghetti and meatballs ($11.95), both of which came with a side salad or steamed broccoli and two garlic knots. Neither pasta dish was amazing, not particularly flavorful or creative, but it's better than some chains like Olive Garden and is still comforting, familiar food that definitely gives you the most bang for your buck. Each entree easily makes 3-4 meals, so one order will make you set for the rest of the week. The side salads are good and fresh, the bread is full of herbs and not overwhelmed with butter, but skip the broccoli, as it's lifeless and bland. Service in the restaurant is friendly and takeout is prepared quickly and is steaming hot upon arrival. read more

Went there tonight and it was awful. The sangria tasted like All spice and vinegar. Salad was just ok- lettuce was limp and tomatoes were wilted-and the garlic knots were hard and Cold. The pizza was cold, had no cheese, and raw mushrooms!! The waitress was amazing. The general manager called me after I wrote a note and told me to come back and try it again.
