After breaking down I call AAA to get a tow to repair shop. They sent out Franco's towing. They told 40 mins in the phone and they showed up in 20 mins. The driver Mario was great he tried everything he could to help me get the car started but he had to tow because we couldn't get. He was real fast and professional and his customer service was awesome. Hopefully I won't need another tow for a while but I totally recommend these guys. Good job! read more

Very very bad day. A flat tire on the front passenger seat of my car was the problem. Allstate motorclub sent franco towing and gave me an ETA of 4:30 or 30 mins wait. They arrived at 4:15 which is very awesome! Anthony or Tony arrived, shook my hand and introduced himself. Very professional and outstanding customer service skills. He fixed my tire and told me be careful. He said he could hear the air leaking from my tire. He is very kind enough to guide me to where the closest tire repair shop in the area. I had a customer towed by this company froma car accident, they charged him $200 to move his car 5 blocks and then $50 to hold his car for 30 minutes. After that we attempted to get a bill to pay the bill for our customer but they said they wouldn't accept checks, nor would they provide a bill and then hung up on me. In the mean time the poor individual is walking the streets hoping someone will let him borrow the money to pay for this to get his car back. This company doesn't car about you at all they just want to make your life difficult and figure out a way to impound your car. My car overheated n won't restart, I pulled over on a side of a busy road. I called AAA to use the towing benefits n the dispatcher send Franco Towing. AAA gave me a 30 minutes wait but Mario the tow truck driver came before the said time! He's a nice guy, very polite n friendly. He offered me right away to sit in his air conditioned tow cab while waiting for him to secure my car. He also offered me an ice cold bottle of water! I was so thirsty waiting inside my hot car. It's a very nice gesture to carry water n offer it to customers! I understand tow truck driver has a dangerous job, it comes with possibility of getting hit by on coming cars. So I would understand the high price that comes with towing, also it's not like people order tow truck every time. I see the complaint of expensive charges, just be prepared, I have an old 1995 car so I bought AAA plus membership that comes with 100 miles towing per incidence. It also have the 200 miles but membership fee will be more! So guys don't get upset with expensive tow fee. Get AAA plus ! Then you will really appreciate the tow service! My car sprang a coolant leak and I was unable to get home without my vehicle dangerously overheating. Because it was a holiday, I had no way to get my car repaired. Out of desperation, I called AAA and they sent out Franco's to help me. The driver arrived within the ETA and was very kind and understanding. When he learned that I was attempting to get to my mother in the hospital, he even offered to drive me to the hospital after getting my car dropped off. These are the most unscrupulous people I've ever met. I called the day before and asked if I can use my credit card o pick up the car and the guy said yes. when I came there another guy said no and that I needed to give them cash. I think it's because they saw the three of us were females n tried to rip us off. Even the sign said no check it never mentioned anything about no credit card either. After paying them cash I told the guy at the register that yesterday I called and another guy said I can use my credit card. The guy at the register said it doesn't matter if you use credit card or cash it's the same thing. I said I'd rather use my credit card instead but it was too late. How unethical is that! When I called the guy said total would be 775 and if we pick the car up the next day it would be an additional $55. The guy added another 20$ to the total. Then he proceeded to say that the car has no batteries we showed him the receipt that stated that the car was driveable after that he said that the car battery may not be working. Then he said that there's no keys in the car and we said that the person who we were picking up the car for said that the car key was in the car. It seems like they're trying to rip us off any which way they could. I think these guys should be out of business and I hope they will. read more

Called for a quote for towing my wifes car from our home to the repair shop. Quote of $85. Fair. Asked if they took a credit card. They said yes they do. The dispatcher was professional, businesslike. Showed up on time. The driver asked for cash though. Fortunately my wife had cash. They delivered the car to the repair shop with no issues. Called them back about the credit card/cash issue. A different dispatcher said they would have taken a credit card for an additional $10. This should have been disclosed earlier. read more

No Stars for Brian and Franco's Towing. They seem to think they are above the law and maybe all of us just owe them something because they tow cars for a living. A friend witnessed one of their drivers speeding through a school zone, when she called to report it, Brian was very rude and made some lame excuse about it being an "Emergency." Not sure what would be so important for a tow truck to speed through a School Zone, maybe they had to tow an ambulance to a hospital or tow a police car on a high speed pursuit?? Anyway, I called to make my own complaint and Brian was a real jerk, he wouldn't give me the owners information and even threatened to call the police on me. I actually called them for him and we had a nice conversation regarding tow trucks. Normal common sense and now an LEO has confirmed, even if they have yellow lights or not, tow truck drivers are supposed to obey the speed limits and other driving laws just like other motorists. This probably the worst business experience I have ever had in my life. We had to get the insurance company, AND the Highway Patrol involved just to have access to the paperwork on our vehicle. The owners, who love to hang up on people, claimed that they "searched" our car for the registration and found none. I brought a copy of a DMV vehicle information sheet to them, my ID... the paper work from the purchase of the automobile etc... They would not allow me back into the car to look for my registration. So basically, they held my car longer under the claim that I had no registration, which they conveniently locked away from me and would not allow me access. As I write this, my wife is being escorted into the place by the CHP (thank-you guys!!) because of the beligerance they expressed to our insurance agent and to me. If I could give NO stars and just a warning symbol ... I would!!! First if you need a cash tow ... they want more than DOUBLE what everyone else in SCV charges!!! Second, they don't care who the are dealing with or talking to ... they are unprofessional and even yell at the agents from AAA. They were called at 7:10 am, to be to scv for a tow w/a flatbed. They were scheduled to be there by 8:10. They still had not showed up by 8:30. I had AAA call them and their dispatcher lied and said their driver was pulling up now. 20 min later ... still NO driver. AAA called again, and they yelled and cursed at the agent (who was a very nice guy). They were still 20+ min out. Finally at 9:10 (I'm now so late to work) 2 hours later, they show up with a wrecker ... NOT a flatbed. When I tell the driver they cannot put it on the wrecker he starts questioning what mechanically is wrong with it and then debating the diagnosis (already had needed repairs verified by 2 different certified 20+ yrs mechanics). Then he gets in the truck .. and just DRIVES OFF!!! UNPROFESSIONAL JERK!!!! We called AAA back, they said Franco's had already scheduled a flat bed and it would be there in 50+ min. (5 min later a flat bed of theirs drives by us ... but does not stop). Then at 10:10 we call back because they still had not showed up ... and they said they wont come back, they didn't like the "situation"!!!!! I hope AAA cancels their contract!!!!!! I called my roadside company and Franco's came out. The driver arrived, my Expedition was in the driveway, unblocked with a transmission problem. We could not get it to roll. He said did not have the right truck. The driver told me I had to call my roadside company, and set up a whole new call. I have worked in the automobile industry my whole life, worked with tow companies, and had a close friend who owned one. I asked him, does your company have a truck that can do this, he said yes, and I said, you guys already have the PO, send that one out here now or when it's available. He blamed the roadside company and instead of me fighting, I did what he told me. I explained the situation to my Roadside Company AutoAdvantage, and they told me this company should have sent out another truck on their own without me having to call again. Another tow company showed up, same truck as the Franco's truck, was able to get my Expedition loaded on, without any damages and get it to the repair show, less that three miles from my house. That drive was here less than 10 minutes. I called at 830AM, and by this time all this washed out, it was 11:30AM, I missed two appointments. If the Franco's driver had half a brain, this all would have been handled by 9AM and I would not have missed my appointments. I have spoken to other people in the area, and this company has done this to many people. They need to have all their Roadside Contract Revoked read more

I followed the tow truck to the designation and got on video the reckless driving exceeded speeds of 70 Mph while my car was jumping up and down. My lights were flashing, alarm screaming, windshield whispers on. Mario in such a hurry to leave locked my key's in the car and didn't even bother to help me out and said the dealership will handle it , the keys were still in the ignition. Due to that the dealer just called and now we need to replace the battery which is bull crap because we just had the battery replaced. I called to make a report and let them know what happened with their worker and was yelled at and said there was nothing they can do about it and it's not their problem. I made a report with AAA..
