Dax provided excellent customer service this visit & last visit (back in February of this year). Do yourself a favor & get the "Tire Protection Certificate" for each tire. It's a great investment for insurance on your car's tires. Case in point: I ran over a random road hazard off the 5 Freeway in Sun Valley. As soon as I hit it, my front passenger's side tire went from 42psi to psi in a split second (my car has tire sensor monitors). Sure enough when I pulled-over safely & examined my tire, it was wrecked. Took it here like I have for the past 6 years, Dax was able to tell immediately where the damage was & concluded what I predicted. Luckily, they carry my specific tire in-stock (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S). They used to have to order this, leaving me without my vehicle for 4-5 days. Instead of paying $399 (just for the tire, not including taxes, installation + balance fees), I only had to pay $69.75 (granted, I only put 2,729 miles on this specific, now-ruined tire). But still, that's a savings of at least $329.25. Seriously, buy the "Certificate for Repair, Refund, or Replacement" for each tire. You'll thank me later. Miguel took diligent care of my car, took careful care, kept me posted, & personally pulled my car out of the maintenance bay & into the driveway to move me along my way. I've been a long time customer of Americas Tires, especially this location... Unfortunately that changed today. The last few visits I've had there was always and "issue" with having to wait longer for my NT01s to show up for my Miata or forgetting to reset the TMPS on my wife's car after service. Generally I've chalked it up as "things happen"... Earlier this week I made an appointment for my Colorado. My TMPS service light came on. I called up to have them check it out. Dash board showed a right rear sensor, they said it was $80 to replace it. Okay cool. After the service the tech approached me and said they scanned all the other sensors and 2 showed low battery and one did not read at all.... The previous day when they checked my truck my dash showed all the tires reading pressure except the initial right rear. The tech then tried to explain to me that because 1 sensor wasn't reading they all wouldn't. That was the point that I decided to sever my tires with this store. I went in to replace a sensor that wasn't reading for $80 to being told that I told THEM which sensor to replace (even though they checked and based on the dash they told me it was the right rear) and that it was going to cost another $240 to have all of my sensors replaced and that they wouldn't work now because they can't be programmed.... I am familiar with how the sensors work, I know they have a shelf and battery life, but to go in and have 3 of the 4 work, replace the bad one then them tell me they won't work anymore unless I replace them all seemed shady, and the tech trying to explain his way out of the reasons why they worked when I pulled in to not working at all now was even shadier. Today had to take my car in unexpectedly! My tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) came on so I had the tires checked first and in the midst of checking, they discovered my left rear tire sensor needs changing. Thanks to Riley he was able to explain to me that if one needs to be replaced more than likely the other 3 will eventually need to be replaced! So since I'm there I had them all changed! I put new tires on mt 2094 C5 vette and they look awesome. Yeah, they would look the same from any dealer, but the customer service adds more to the equation than just buying tires. Because of our prior experiences we have become regular customers here. This past visit was not our normal experience, however the manager was very apologetic and used it as a training tool for his technicians. This is why 4 stars instead of fewer. We received a text that our car was ready. So we walked to the shop to pick up the car. When we started it up, it was obvious that the 4 new tire sensors were not installed. The manager realized what part of their paper trail system failed and had it fixed right away. He also thanked us for our patience and positive attitude. These guys are the best, top notch. I had the misfortune of getting a flat tire while visiting in SoCal and needed a new set of tires before leaving a day later. After searching 6 different locations. I was lucky enough to find tires in stock for my vehicle at the Santa Clarita location. I was under time constraints to find tires, get my van to a shop and be ready to leave in a little over a day. I was able to get an appointment the morning before I was going to head back north. Although I was 15 minutes late, America's Tires honored my appointment and got me in and out in record time. Somehow they replaced all four tires, balanced and installed in less than 30 minutes which is hard to imagine. I forgot the name of the Service advisor who helped me big he definitely provided 5 star service, knowledgeable, good communicator, excellent interpersonal skills and honest. Just an outstanding employee who represented America's Tires well. This location is just outstanding, heads better than the location I take my vehicles at home. In the future, I plan to have the tires on my vehicles replaced at this location. read more

After hydroplaning on stock Goodyear Assurance Finesse tires with 23k on them for my Kia Carnival, I decided to get something with a better wet traction rating. Ended up going with the Michelin Defender 2s. Found America's Tire to be competitive price-wise so purchased on their website and scheduled an appointment for a Weds at 8/45am. Website had some default writing about it taking 45-60 minutes which seems fair. They were extremely busy but had a bunch of workers who were just cranking out cars like crazy. Checked in at 8:45, they pulled my vehicle into a bay at around 8:50 and were done by 9:10. Amazing! I spent the morning calling several America's Tire location before placing my tire order to ensure it would be in stock in a timely fashion. Several stores did not answer... from LA to IE- Santa Clarita did even though they were swamped all day. They had no available appointments but still allowed me to come in. Things didn't go according to plan but this review if for their service they upheld despite all the challenges they encompassed with the new website making their lives harder and the very busy Monday they had to encounter. I went through the tire pressure drive up service station because I got a sensor check saying my tire pressure is low; I didn't get the guys name -- he said that my right rear tire has a leak and that he took out a piece of plastic from the tire and said it's not able to be patched and that I have three days to get it replaced. I feel very disrespected that the guy thought I was born yesterday and tried to scam me... I'm a vulnerable college student and a part time associate with bills to pay. I don't have the money to just drop on a new tires (especially replacing one that's brand new already--I bought this car last year of May) VERY UNPROFESSIONAL this place has a record of scamming people NOT HELPING. I don't recommend going here and if you do ALWAYS get a second opinion at a place that actually cares. I went to the Acton tire shop (Affordable Tire Co.) and they said my tires are COMPLETELY FINE I watched them check it too (same day). The Americas tire drive up station I didn't watch the guy. I called the place and was very considerate I'm a very people pleaser person so I'm very polite and I let them know what had happened (I know it's going to be swept under the rug) I don't appreciate my kindness being taken for granted from people who never deserve it in the first place, but you know what I always wish the best for those who are angry at the world for whatever reason. I made an appointment for a tire rotation and balance, but even with the appointment, I had to wait for an hour. After waiting an hour long, as soon as my vehicle went into the shop, they told me that the tires were worn unevenly so the rotation couldn't be done: the fact is they didn't even properly inspect the car. What frustrating is that when I first arrived they performed initial inspection with device that reads tire thread, they didn't mention anything and I even asked if the rotation would be possible: and they clearly said it is possible. So I waited for an hour for nothing, only for them to take a quick glance and suddenly say it can't be done. It is really frustrating and messed up. read more

I recently went to purchase new tires for my C300 Mercedes Benz, the initial quote given to me for a set of Continental tires was over $1k, when I came for the day of my appointment Alfredo was able to knock the price down by $300+---I also overheard one of the employees say to another customer that Alfredo was the best. Kids here don't even check their work, have had multiple issues with them in the past, broke my hub cap on my wheel and claimed they didn't. Also mounted their tire to a new wheel and didn't even check the tire first and got home and it was flat. Would take my car somewhere else I've been a customer for years and it just keeps getting worse. Brought my car in after hitting a pothole and I ask them to take a look at everything and replace my front passenger tire which had blown out after hitting the pothole. The service was handled by Riley who could not find any previous records in the system of my car getting new tires just 4 months earlier. Ended up having to dig through my phone to find an old invoice. After giving me the car back, I notice it was riding rough and took the wheel off again only to notice it was bent badly. This damage happened after hitting the pothole, but it would have been nice to be told that my rim was bent. There was no way they could have missed that, but it was not mentioned to me at all. On top of everything, my wheel weights were also put on incorrectly. Don't go here unless you want fast and sloppy service with no attention to detail. read more

Some say nothing abd take forever and some are polite to acknowledge you by saying you will be helped. But once you pass this stage, so far service has been good. I've been going to American tire depot down the rode for years and finally got fed up with their lies and lazy work... I went in today of course to get a tire patched and they quoted me as usual an absurd amount of time as always.. they referred me to Americas Tire and thank god for that.. I came in and was helped immediately the gentleman who helped me was so nice and said I'd be out of here in about an hour and a half which I was fine with... I noticed all the workers were working fast and efficient which was nothing like the last place I would go to. Stick to what you do best...tires! They now do alignment service which is a nice add-on BUT clearly they don't have kinks worked out. Been offering the service for 8 months yet they can't estimate wait time appropriately. Quoted us 1.5 hours for tires and alignment. Well...waited and waited and waited. Complained and told us well it's first come first served. Hmmm no mention of that before and we had an appointment!! Then told us "yeah we shouldn't have quoted you an hour and a half and should have said we'll call you when it's done!" Finally 2 hours 40 minutes later. I bought my tires online using the $100 off promotion but I wasn't able to make it to the store right away for the installation. I work long hours so it wasn't until the holiday break that I was able to actually schedule the appt. and get over there. When they inspected my car I showed them a wheel I had a concern about, which had a sizeable chunk taken out of it. They were honest and said it was likely a coin toss as to whether or not the new tire would hold air. Luckily I thought this might happen so I had already ordered a new wheel online the day prior. The only issue now was that my promotion was about to expire if I didn't complete the transaction within 30 days of ordering. Unfortunately their system wouldn't let them schedule me past the deadline and keep the discount. So rather than force the deal and send me out the door with 3 new tires and one in the trunk, they found a way that allowed me to retain the discount and come back later for the complete install after my new wheel arrived. They did all this while it was raining out, so the place was packed. Brought Tesla model y performance in for rotation while ago and they put the front smaller tires on the rear and larger tires on the front. Two times they never called my name as I waited inside and just parked the car in a spot without any notification that car was finished. Put new tires on and had psi at 54 on one of the tires instead of 44. Only reason did not give a 1 star was tires were a decent deal. read more
