Flashback 5 years ago when I moved back to New Orleans from Los Angeles, I bought a 50 year old house (with 50 year old drains) and needed a plumber. There was never any doubt on who I was going to call, as I have never met such a trustworthy, hard working and God fearing man! Low and behold, my shower drain got clogged, and my "Liquid Plumber" attempt at a fix it had failed. I called Jimmy and he immediately answered, even though I could tell from the background noise that he was at a party or other type of function. He was ready to leave the party (at 8 PM) and come right over, but I assured him that I had 2 other showers I could use and it was not necessary, and that he could come the next day. The next morning, he was courteous enough to call and advise he would be a running 30 minutes behind schedule, as he encountered an unexpected issue at another residence. I really appreciated his call as there is nothing worse than waiting for a service technician for hours on end without any idea as to when they are going to show up. Even if you call him and he has his hands full, he always calls back in a timely fashion. Several years ago, my sister's "on demand" water heater broke in the middle of winter and she was waiting on an electrical component to be UPS'd to her home. The part got delivered after 7 PM. Jimmy the Plumber was at a graduation ceremony when the part got delivered, but came over after the ceremony (while on his way to the after party) and changed out the part so she could have hot water. This is over the top service, and why I will never call another plumber again. I have used Jimmy 2 additional times in the past 5 years and have gotten nothing but top notched service each time. He is the type of guy you can have working in your home and never have to worry about anything, as his trustworthiness and integrity are beyond reproach. I can't say enough good things about this guy and his his business. If you are ever in the need of a plumber, I cannot recommend this guy enough!

From the moment he first arrived, his professionalism and expertise was evident. Cory quickly went to meticulously working-checking every possible source of the gas leak with the attention to detail of that a jeweler, rather than a tradesman. Not only did Cory identify, locate the gas leak, he also took the time to explain the situation to me in a clear and concise manner. His transparent communication and honest approach gave me peace of mind during a stressful time. I mean my house could've exploded! Additionally, he provided me with practical advice on how to prevent such issues in the future. After all that, I was pleasantly surprised by their very fair pricing for the exceptional quality of service provided. Cory and his crew really went above and beyond. On the day before Thanksgiving, Conrad arrived less than one hour from me opening a home warranty claim. He quickly confirmed that my 75 gallon water heater needed to be replaced. We discussed the challenges of my installation and we agreed that the new one would not be in place until the end of day Monday. This was disappointing but understandable due to the holiday. Also, I was nervous because I was leaving town Friday morning and would not be there for any additional issues (there usually are issues). Conrad pleasantly surprised us when he called on Friday and set up to install it that day. The entire NOLA area experienced low temps in the 50's that weekend and the early install kept my wife from having to choose between bathing in cold water or travelling to impose on relatives. I returned a week later to find the new unit installed EXACTLY as we discussed. WARNING: If you have a home warranty... My only complaint is with the warranty company. I have two contracts with them - one for me and one for my disabled sister. Each home has needed a water heater this year. Regardless of their size (my sister's was a 50 gallon unit), the cost to me was over $500 for each - $75 copay plus $460 for non-covered expenses. I priced the extra parts used for my job at Home Depot and they totaled less than $30 including tax. This is a flat fee imposed by the warranty company. THIS ROBBERY IS NOT CONRAD'S FAULT. Small point: I think he choose the wrong name for his company. Conrad is One Great Plumber!

Shared him a video, he said, most likely a drum trap that is clogged. At 9am Monday morning, a knock on my door, it's Chris! Within 2 hours he unclogged it, got me a new cap for the drum trap, looks great. Now I can take a shower and give my son a bath without the worry of water draining into the bathroom.
