When we arrived, the parking lot was vast with plenty of parking, and the warm waiting room was a welcome reprieve from the cold. I checked-in around 8 am and waited in the lobby, which had space for about 30 seats and a nearby bathroom. My appointment was for 8:45 am, and my name was called shortly around that time. Rebecca was kind, friendly, and professional. She assisted me with the eye test that displayed a farmhouse in the distance, the Snellen chart, and asked if I was comfortable having my eyes dilated. After she applied the drops, she led me to a second waiting area, where I only waited a few minutes before Paige called me to another room. Paige gently checked the progress of my dilation and added a yellow dye to help the doctor see any abnormalities in my eye. When Dr. Ryan Smith arrived, he was kind and friendly. He used hand sanitizer before he greeted me, which I thought was a pro move. I'm not a germophobe, but I know doctors see multiple patients in a day, and I appreciated his diligence. Dr. Smith examined my eyes and answered my questions. I don't always feel heard when it comes to my health, but with Dr. Smith, I felt he valued my health and listened intently to my feedback, not simply relying on his vast education and experience but viewing me as a partner in my health. His warm demeanor showed a doctor who truly enjoyed caring for the eye health of his patients. I recommend Dr. Ryan Smith to anyone needing gentle, attentive eye care. He is on social security disability and lives pay check to pay check the optometrist that helped us was every pushy to get his eye examination done because he was her last patient. I think its ethically wrong for a business to know he has this corneal edema that isnt stable (obviously because the prescription changes a significant amount every year) and not advise him agent getting glasses and spend his money just to take it he spent over 400 this past set on glasses for all the lenses comforts for disappointment because he can't wear them. We would have gone back sooner about this matter but I had to do a little more digging and advocating to see more what corneal edema was all about. They advise you ain't getting prescription glasses till you have had lest two consecutive optometrist visits of no change in your prescription to get prescription glasses.

The guy that checks you in before you see D.R was also friendly and very professional. The office staff was friendly except for one person in the front office. There are always a couple of miserable and unprofessional employees no matter where you go. I went in for my last appointment and I said good morning to the older unattractive Hispanic female that works in the front office and she didn't say good morning back to me. She sits at the desk in the far left corner of the office. She looks very menacing, angry and lethargic. She needs to find a Joe she can work from home. Patients should not have to deal with her lack of home training. When a patient comes in for an appointment have the decency to speak. Miss office worker don't take your job for granted you are replaceable.
