The good: The sales staff found me a cool little car with standard transmission. They helped find financing for me. I am very happy with my car. The mechanic that answered some questions for me was very nice. Everyone was polite. Finance and sales always answered my questions even after the sale, including when I decided to cancel the extended warranty. They provided Car Facts on the cars. The not so good, but not unexpected either: Long wait times. Some possibly tall tales, like "we just can't find the keys to that car" and "the car you wanted was JUST sold." Overall: Pretty okay place. If you're not auto savvy bring someone who is, read the fine print, and don't be in a hurry. read more

My salesperson Matt was great, but they owe me to fix hail damage that was part of the agreement because I would not buy the vehicle without it and also the A/C does not work. It's going on almost 2 months and I only heard once from service saying they would call me to set up appointment and talk to sales about loaning me a vehicle while my was being fixed, it's been 3 weeks since I heard from anyone and I even left a VMM for the sales Manager last week. I have been trying to schedule a service appointment for a safety recall notice I received. This is the only Mitsubishi dealer in the St. Louis area, so I have no other options but this one. The website is not working. I have called multiple times to schedule an appointment and left messages twice. No one has returned my call. I finally got someone to answer over at the dealership, but they just took a message and tried to transfer me to service. They did not pick up. Chad kept me informed of the status and made a bad situation right. As far as your dealership,I will NEVER, EVER purchase another vehicle from Frank Leta, nor refer anyone to you. After I spent a great deal of money on my car, no one would call me back when an issue arose.I left multiple messages over a month's time, with no return calls. Talk about a pushy salesman wanted to give me a car that had a huge dent in it, paint missing off door , rusted rotors and tires were rust color and all needed replaced. On top of that no gas in it for a test drive then offered me a $21000 car that I didn't even want but wouldn't let me get a car that was cheaper. Told them to run numbers on the mirage even though I didn't want it. Ridiculously high prices and payments then they proceed to get mad when I said I'd think about it. I have been put through the wringer with this car dealership! bought a car through them and 3 days later the check engine light comes on. it is already very hard to even get in contact with anyone there but we were finally able to get a day to get it looked at. The day of they told us they didn't even have an appointment set up but they were still able to look at the car and tell us what was going on. I had to bring a car back, because I had a shocking death in the family and needed to help my family instead of buy a car. I took the car back, and was informed on when the loan would be paid back. I check in when the finance manager told me. From here on out I was met with rudeness, lack of response, and lies. First they claimed the check was sent to the bank on May 31st. After over 30 unanswered messages someone rudely responded that this was my fault and I had no right to be so persistent and then informed that I was lied to and the check was actually not sent until Jun 9th. While I understand it was my fault the car needed to brought back, that lacked any kindness or understanding. All I wanted was truthful updates on the situation. I bought a car in December 2023. I have not been able to register it because Frank Leta Mitsubishi has still not provided the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin. I called for months and months and was continually sent to the voicemail of someone who never called me back. Not once. I moved since and left a voicemail with my new address. No reply. I called again to make sure they got it and left a voicemail. No reply. If you call there and they say they are going to transfer you to Jhori, say no! You will just be leaving voicemails in the ether until you die. I left a similar message to what's above the day I got a ticket for not having my car registered. The cop, unsurprisingly, didn't care that I was not at fault and could not do anything about it. I got this ticket in September 2024, more than eight months after I bought the car. Not only did I get a ticket, but at this point I am looking at $200 in penalties because "I" (LOL) waited so long to register my car. A manager named Ryan contacted me the day I posted the review, said he would handle it and the buck stopped with him, blah blah blah. On the call I found out that they DID send the form to my old address, after I had moved and after I had called (twice!) to make sure they had my new address. I asked why they didn't follow up (they never even told me they were sending it!) and he said that can't or don't do that. Who even knows? I told him about the ticket and the lawyer for the ticket and the $200 in registration fines. He that they'd take care of that. Unfortunately, it was not resolved on that call and after two weeks later of nothing changing, I called to follow up twice, but they ghosted me again. I updated my bad review to reflect what had happened (or rather, what HADN'T happened) since then. Following that I was in a 3 car (not my fault) but I had to talk the cop out of giving me ANOTHER ticket for not having my car registered. Unbelievably it worked and I didn't get another ticket, but it added to the amount of stress and aggravation that Frank Leta has caused me over the past nine months. After that I did get contacted by Ryan the manager again and blah blah blah something something they were going to send it out and I would get it by last Wednesday. He also acted like that was the first time he was hearing about me getting a ticket, which I had told him about in the previous call AND was mentioned in the review that actually got me in touch with a human being there. I waited until the following Wednesday (yesterday) to call again and Ryan told me that they haven't even sent it yet. I also had to tell him for the third time how they caused me to get a ticket for not having my car registered and how I need to be reimbursed for that. He acted AGAIN like that was the first time I brought it to his attention, even though I had to remind him of it the last time we spoke. And it was in the review I sent them. And I had also emailed him a copy of the ticket and the bill from the lawyer. I also had to give him my current address, which I had already given him. So now it's four weeks since the first time I left a review and I still don't have the necessary paperwork to register the car I bought nine months ago. I have never had an experience like this. It's unreal. I spent months trying to get a person who would talk to me there and I spent months trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But it's clear that this absolute contempt for the customer comes from the top down. This is deliberate antagonization at this point. There is no other explanation, except perhaps rank incompetence. Why not both? That raises another question. If they had it in hand to (unsurprisingly) sent to the wrong address in March, why have is it a month after I first wrote this review and I still don't have it? At the end of November I went in to just discuss the offers available. I was very clear at the start that I wasn't looking to buy at the moment, just gather information. While my sales associate was excellent, his manager was extremely pushy. I understand how sales works but it made me very uncomfortable. I left a deposit for $200 dollars to hold the finance deal because I needed time to consider my finances and whether I wanted to take on a new car loan at the moment. I was told that if I reconsidered, all I had to do was reach out and the deposit would be refunded back to me. I decided not to purchase the vehicle and called the very next day. I was told the finance department would be advised to process the refund. A week passed with nothing. Now I work in an industry where we process refunds daily so I understand the sorts of things that could hold up a refund so I gave it a full business week before reaching back. Nothing had been done. I was told by the sales associate that he handle it. I emailed after the phone call to document the conversation. Another two weeks passed and I made another call attempt, this time to the finance department. Their phone IVR is a joke. Every time I called, I had less than a minute in the queue, but after 14 seconds (yes I actually counted down), it would send me to voicemail. I've probably left 10 voicemails since Christmas and the one time I got a call back unfortunately I was on a work call and couldn't answer. I called back within 2 min and got the voicemail again .I've called yet again, understanding that with the holidays things happen but I'm pretty fed up. I am not the sort to lightly leave bad reviews but this is getting ridiculous. I'm highly considering choosing another place when I do decide to buy a new car if this is the sort of service I can expect. The DMV tells me that I am missing the Lien Release form, and until I get that, I cannot register my car. SO I immediately get a hold of Frank Leta and let them know I need this Lien Release form. I NEVER hear from them!! So I keep calling leaving a message on Damien, my salesman, and no call back. I send emails and no reply. SO then I go to Facebook and contact them that way, and I get a call from guy called John Henry. He tells me that he is emailing the office manager right now, and I should a copy of my form tomorrow. Never got the email or another call. So I keep at them through Facebook and emails. Now a month later, John Henry calls me back, and basically says the office manager isn't doing her job, and they have to get the release form from MS. Right after that, I hired a lawyer. Her first step was sending them a letter demanding the release form. No response! It is now 2 months later, and I STILL do NOT have my Lien Release Form!! I got a card in the mail today from the State of Missouri telling me that if I do not register my car soon, they will cancel anything in my name!! This business is friggin JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill-Boarding & Lies; So if you live in the St. Louis area you have heard their commercials and one of those commercials has the "Dime Lady" talking to another lady who hates her existing broken down car. By the end of the commercial, this one lady with the car gets one dime down, 25,000.00 credit amnesty & trades in her broken-down car that "She still owes thousands on.." This actually made me excited enough to go to their website and fill out the credit app online. The next day I get a call from Danyelle stating that she has reviewed my app and is very excited to help me she just needed to ask some questions. I informed her that I was the hospital with my wife for her Chemo and really couldn't talk right now, she persisted and stated that it would only take a second. I answer the questions and she says that she can get me into a vehicle, I explain to her that I live far away, (60 miles), that I have very bad credit, and that I did not want to drive all the way there just to get turned down. Her words were, I looked at your application and I am 97% sure we can get you into a car with no money down". I restated that ok but I do not want to drive there and get the runaround. She confirmed that I wouldn't. She then preceded to call and text me for several days to get me to come to the dealership. I finally did. on Jan 21st, 2020, I was texted by Tyler who was supposed to be my salesperson and we scheduled to meet that afternoon. I get there and no Tyler, but a guy named JD, I explained the situation and the conversation with Danyelle and he had me fill out another application(basically a sales sheet to help him sell me a car) he went to the back...I never saw him again... The next guy to come out was Fred, the sales manager, he explains that the commercials are not accurate and but each program is separate that due to my credit I would need at least $2000.00 down and that would be with my trade-in. I was very displeased at this point. I explained the situation with what Danyelle said and both he and JD stated that she doesn't work for Frank Leta and she is just a call center person whose job is to just get someone in the door. I left very angry and disappointed that I wasted my time, fuel and money coming to this location. I tried to call Danyelle back but she was not in that day, I explained the situation and they transferred me to Brandon the Manager who stated that this is not what they are supposed to due and that he would talk to another person who will try and help me even at taking a loss on the deal. just give him 24hrs. I should have looked at the reviews before proceeding to purchase a vehicle from Frank Leta Automotive outlet. I have never had such an awful experience with a car dealership, than I have had with this company. Unfortunately, my previous vehicle was totaled so I was in desperate need to purchase another. This process lasted for two weeks. I found a vehicle that I fell in love with, and was in the process of securing it. Being that I just relocated back to Missouri, proof of residency was the issue. Initially I was told to provide a bank statement, which I did, then was told that it wouldn't work. I was then told to get a Missouri drivers license, which I did, and was later told that it would not work either. After all of the back-and-forth, they finally accepted the documents but ended up selling the car that I fell in love with. They did not tell me that the car was sold until the day I signed paperwork. On top of that, I was told things that were completely untrue. I was told that I would receive a booklet full of discounts for maintenance and services, only to find out that is with a paid membership. If you can help it, do not do business with this dealership. I found truck I wanted to see and it was unlocked so I was able to view it inside and out. A sign on the office door directed me across the lot to the Accura Showroom. Very unhappy with my recent purchase. Their advertisement states one dime down, however I was required to put a $500 down payment. Bought a lemon two weeks ago. Called to speak with a manager, they advised I would receive a call back within 3 days. 7 days later I had to contact them again after they did not follow up with me. The dealership advised they can't predict when a vehicle will have issues and will not assist with rescinding the loan even though the finance company recommended the rescission. Where do I start...I"m beyond upset. I purchased a vehicle nearly two years ago and my paperwork is still not right. First my title was lost and took four months to come back before I could pay my sales tax with late fees. During this time I got the biggest run around ever....fast foward I'm driving along red lights flash me down. My car isn't associate with my plates... I show the officer my registration and he states someone's made a mistake and suggested I visit the DMV who directed me back to Leta who took four months to produce a paper that to date is still not right. I heard their advertisement offering up to $5000 over KBB value. So I reached out to try and trade in my car. They called back several times a week for a few weeks but never did what they were supposed to do between calls. I finally went out there and explained to them that the local Ford dealer offered me $10,000 for my car. Rather than give me up to 5K more, they offered me $8000.... 2K under my previous offer. I asked what kind of vehicle I would have to bring in to receive the 5K over a KBB value. And they were unable to give me an answer. The inside of the business was nasty and needed renovations. The cars on the lot we're not that great. And the service was only OK. For a car dealer, this is a one star business. Very disappointed with my experience, and will not be back. Thinking it was the same place, I purchased a used car from the location, within a month, I have MASSIVE powertrain issues. Within a year of buying this car, I had to get an entirely new engine, new breaks and then they tried to tell me I needed a new valve, due to when I got a new engine, they put the old valve from the old broken engine. To add insult to injury, the "so called good extended warranty" didn't cover it. I was going to have to come out of pocket over 500 bucks. went to frank leta automotive outlet today after talking to a woman yesterday on the phone who told me that the jeep i was wanting to look at was at the dealership . it was not there it was still at the acrra dealership and then the deal told me i needed 1000. down and that the dime down program was based on credit score .. and the credit amnesty was a different program and they don't combine them plus the dealer told me that the jeep i wanted i could not get into for the 1000 down he could only get me into a car .. that's not what i was looking for and i told them that on the phone when i first contacted them so all there adds that run on the radio are false advertisement i do not recommend anyone going there .. i see review on there that are worst then mine read more

After their 1st blatant lying, I never contacted them again. I stand by my original review. They can not be trusted. I would choose hitchhiking over a free car from Frank Leta. They are that bad. read more
