If you're looking for a casual, retro hotdog joint, this is the place. There is counter top and table seating. It was sabrette brand hotdogs, fresh off the grill by individual order. There was one man behind the grill cooking French fries, pouring beer, and grilling dogs to order, quick and hot, the chili was really good. I want to go back soon.

A nice OG establishment with cozy decor, and scrumptious hotdog selections, this should be saved on any foodies favorites list. There was ample parking and easy access to the restaurant. Inside you can opt to sit at the bar or choose from table and booth seating. There is also an extended area towards the back. You will see lots of people coming and going at lunch and dinner time. Their staff are cheerful and pleasant. The hotdog selection is great, as are the smothered french fries. Pair that with an ale or soda pop, and there is good eatin' to be had. The food isn't fancy but the tastes and flavors are very good. My favorite so far was the Chicago dog. This place is worth going back to.

Still a staple in Stuart Florida. Basic great hotdogs fresh to order. A couple of beers on draft is a bonus. Great place to have a dog inside out of the heat.

This is a great hot dog stand. The restaurant is a fast casual kind of place - counter at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The menu offers a variety of hot dogs, sausage and brats plus bbq sandwiches, chicken salad, fries, etc. They also offer draft and bottled beer. Two of us ordered the monster dog (1/4 #) with grilled onions, peppers and brown mustard - I had mine with standard fries, my brother-in-law had his with spicy fries. The fries were very good and the hot dogs were exceptional. My wife was more traditional and ordered the Frank-N-Kraut. She said the kraut was excellent and she loved the dog. Nothing fancy -- just great dogs.

Hot dog with mustard, relish, Kraut and onion sauce. Fries.

Old school hot dog stands seem to be a dying breed, which is why I was excited to spot Frank N' Stein grilling up classic Sabrett dogs while I was on a drive through Stuart recently. They delivered on my expectations. The dog had a nice snap thanks to the natural casing and the fries tasted like they were just peeled from fresh potatoes. They do not use the Sabrett onion sauce you'll often see in a jar at Publix or on a hot dog cart; they had a much tastier version of the sauce with thicker onions and more robust flavor. That was a highlight for me. The Frankenstein theming is also pretty clever and they have some funny illustrations inside the very clean restaurant. Service was speedy and friendly. Before I left, I couldn't help but add another dog -- a chili cheese dog -- to enjoy on the road. Dr. Frank N' Stein, you've created a monster.

My husband and ended up at Frank N' Stein via a recommendation from our friend and fellow foodie. We were looking for a quick bite and beer without breaking the bank. This place was so charming and cozy! The staff was very nice and attentive. Their menu was very straight forward, but had lots of options. In case you couldn't tell from their name they are known for all things hot dogs. They use an incredible product that is 100% all beef which they cook on a flat top. My husband and I ordered a large bud light on draft and two dogs. I ordered the dog and kraut with spicy mustard and my husband ordered what was called "the monster." (Frankenstein was a monster get it? Haha) it was a 1/4 lb all beef hot dog and he topped it Chicago style, which was relish, pickle spears, diced onion, diced tomato, celery seed and spicy mustard. These hot dogs were delicious! I definitely recommend this place if you need a quick lunch without all the frills. Well done! We will be back

Interior. Very clean!

Fredgie's World Famous Hot Dog & More definitely lives up to its name!…read moreThe first thing I noticed was the scenic outdoor seating area. It's a great place to relax, enjoy your meal, and take in the surroundings. Ellie provided outstanding service from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. I ordered the Fredgie's Original Hot Dog, topped with spicy mustard, peanut butter, and chili. I know peanut butter on a hot dog sounds unusual, but trust me--it works! Every bite was delicious, and I can honestly say their "World Famous" claim is well deserved. The hot dog itself was perfectly cooked with a great snap, and the buttery New England-style roll was soft, fresh, and the perfect complement. It's obvious they put thought into every detail. Before leaving, I ordered a Doggie Dog hot dog to take home for my dog, and let's just say it disappeared in record time. He absolutely loved it! If you're looking for a unique hot dog experience with excellent service and a beautiful place to enjoy your meal, Fredgie's is definitely worth the stop. I'll be back!

I cannot recommend the cheeseburger. The cook asked me how I'd like it cooked, I said "well-done"…read moreand lo, it was not. The patty was so uneven that the larger bulges were near raw inside. The meat tasted watery and under-seasoned. The toppings and bread were quality, but I must deduct a star for the preparation. If the patty were uniform thickness, the rawness could've been avoided. Behind the food truck there were shaded tables and benches with back support. I ate my meal while looking out over the ocean. A veritable haven for white ibis, too, who enjoyed their own kiddie pool with fresh water. It was a welcome surprise to eat there and not take it to-go.
