My husband and I both ordered a pulled chicken platter and while it was fine, the portions were very small for the price you are paying at a food truck - $15 or more per plate. I have no problem paying that for a meal that fills me up. We recently came back to Hobe Sound to visit family. On our list of places to eat is ALWAYS Amato's for a calzone and Scooters. We drove past Blue Water BBQ, noticing something new in Hobe Sound is always fun to see. We checked out their instagram and menu. Seeing plenty of good looking options on their menu we decided to give it a try! Walking up you it is inviting, relaxing and a place you'd like to and are able to BYOB with family and friends. I was kindly greeted by the staff and order taken quickly. They let me know shortly after they were low on tater totes so she suggested loaded fries.(great recommendation!) Brisket, was delicious! Plenty of flavor although it wasn't needed their bbq sauce is great for dipping totes and fries! The thin layer of fat on the brisket might as well have been butter(I don't normally eat the fat, but damn it was good!) The Mac and cheese was also a side we all loved! Pulled pork was very good, loved the sauces, creamy coleslaw side with pickles and onions. We will definitely be back with a case of beer and enjoy the weather and food lounging! The atmosphere and setup at BWB is awesome. A really chill vibe. We ordered the brussel sprout app which was pretty good. I think the buffalo sauce was a little much but it was still good. 7/10 The pulled pork was a little on the dry side but still the most decent in town. 7/10. The tangy sauce was great. A sweet vinegary spicy sauce. 8/10 The burnt ends sandwich was delicious! 9/10 and I would highly recommend. Overall I'd give this place a 8.8/10! We'll definitely be back! Nice job guys! read more

Amazing new barbecue spot in Hobe Sound, FL. It is a true pit master operation. I was blown away by the flavors of everything I tried! Just tried out this BBQ on a leap of faith to support local and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the pulled pork platter with tots & Mac & cheese. Pulled pork was delicious, enjoyed that it was served on a piece of bread. The mac & cheese had good flavor with a very pleasing texture & the tots hot and crispy. Everything I need for a bbq platter side. I can't decide if I like the tangy or sweet sauce more, I used them both. Got take out but would be happy to eat there with the cute patio. read more

What a great new place! The ambiance is fantastic with cute stringing lights, nice tables with coverings and colorful tractors to boot. The food was great - I tried the ribs, pulled chicken, pulled pork, and some brisket - the brisket and chicken were my favorite, though the ribs and pork did not disappoint at all. The beef brisket is phenomenal. I mean juicy sweet and the bark on it is unbelievable. I get it with tater tots which I prefer and beans, and I love the beans!! I've had the ribs... I don't know anybody in the area that makes better ribs... I did not care for the pork and I did not care for their brisket burger. I thought the brisket burger was kind of terrible.... It just seemed flaky and loose, and it had a weird flavor and texture to it. I have their pork eggrolls sitting in my fridge. I'll let you know what I think.... I think the prices are right in line with the portions so I have no complaint there. read more

This is by far the best bbq I have had in town, the burnt ends sandwich is delicious! The pulled pork was a little on the dry side but the sauces are good. The tots were crispy and perfectly salted. Stopped in for a quick bite and it was delicious! The crispy brussel sprouts were so yummy, with a slight kick in the sauce and perfectly crispy bacon & brussels. Unfortunately i'm leaving a 1 star review while this place has great potential the food isn't great. Their outdoor area/seating is very nice/welcoming and their customer service is great! My food on the other hand was not great. I got the pulled pork platter which came with your choice of 2 sides I got mac & cheese which came out cold and pastey, tater tots that had a weird taste to them, and the "house made pickle" was literally just a slice of cucumber that tasted like cucumber and no pickle. The pulled pork is decent it's more the 3 bbq sauces they offer which in my opinion taste awful and you can't eat pulled pork without a good bbq. Hopefully this food truck will improve as time goes on but for now i'll stick with Brother's Q BBQ food truck in Stuart. read more

As a lover of BBQ I'm always on the lookout for new places and was intrigued at the new kid in hobe sound. The outdoor seating is ok but tables are low for a tall person. The layout is nice but being outside you have to deal with the bugs. All that aside let's get to the food. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich (out of brisket), along with the corn muffins. I was surprised to get my order with about 3-4 oz of pork on a piece of white bread. This meal cost about twenty bucks. I got the half sandwich,coleslaw,beans. The corn muffin was extra and only one small for around an additional 5-6 dollars. Needless to say I left hungry. The beans were the best part of the meal. The supposed sandwich was a real disappointment. The coleslaw was bland. I like the concept but the locals won't dole out restaurant prices for food truck snacks. They have a way to go. Happened upon this outdoor eatery today right at opening time. Pulled pork sandwich was great - the roll toasted was a nice touch. Portions were generous with very reasonable pricing. Brisket nicely blackened. The whole vibe is very Austin-like with Hobe Sound hospitality. read more

Went yesterday for first time... it was delicious. We both had burnt ends ... mine a sandwich, his a platter. Then owner came around with chicken crackling' for us to try that knocked our socks off!!!!! We highly recommend trying this special place in Hobe Sound!!! read more
