She asked if she could use a jaw opener because it helped her work. I didn't know what it was and agreed. Once it was in my mouth I was thoroughly incapacitated from the intensity of the pain and pressure on my jaw and palate. She didn't do any work, instead told me there was a cavity and I needed a root canal, both things she would have already seen on the xrays. She pushed me back in the chair, no water, and left me for just under an hour at a slant backwards. When she pulled me up, I was very dizzy. No water, no help, no offer of help. The temp she put in was only half of a tooth. She did not remove the half of the broken crown still in my mouth, so the assistants struggled to make it and were only able to make a half a temp. The doctor stuck a blob of cement on it and stuck it in, no sanding, no water, nothing. I wobbled badly when I got up, so dizzy. They all gasped, but no one offered water or help. There was a time when I couldn't gulp and it was scary. All she did was write a referral to someone to do the root canal, but she also requested that they remove the cavity. When I asked her why it was taking so long, she told me all appointments are 2 hours. I am a senior with a severe disability in my neck which I went out of my way to tell her beforehand. Look it up people, what she did to me could have been fatal. She had no reason to use the jaw opener either. She has refused to repay me $902. When I requested the refund, instead she sent me a check for less than half along with a stack of new charges for this appointment where she did nothing. I have the evidence for all of the above. BEWARE!!!

My injection was not painful. But i digress. Dr Weins first introduced himself to me by his firs name, followed by his title. He proceeded to explain all the findings all that he knew to be the case and all how he wished to proceed if I was in agreement. All this to say that Dr Weins provided the health care one hopes for and rarely experiences in a now commerical system that lacks humanity in many cases. Thank you Dr Weins, Sam, and the staff.

She was attentive, kind, and we shared a couple of laughs. Based upon other reviews (and Dr. Lansford's high marks), I felt I would be in good hands. No one can attest to "loving their root canal", but I can attest to Dr. Carr's caring & expertise. He and his assistant, Katie, were impressively focused on the task at hand (inside my mouth) for close to 3 hours. (Plus, I enjoyed the tunes from the 50s, 60s, and early 70s playing). Though my jaw is understandably sore from holding it open that long, I have had zero sensitivity or pain in the days after (following the antibiotic and Motrin protocol). I had no pain during the procedure. (He's also impressive with the numbing) I'm impressed with his smooth work on the very back upper molar that has seen a lot of work through the years. I was able to utilize Care Credit to schedule payments - no interest - over six months (making this surprise also helpful) I highly recommend Dr. Gilman Carr and thank him & Darcy & Katie for taking great care of me during this crazy pandemic.
