When he saw my nail he said the only way to grow back a healthy nail is to remove this nail. Upon my consent, he removed my nail the same day. At the time, he never discussed any side effects or the possibility of damage to nail bed by this removal. When I saw him after four months he said- with a lack of care I must add- the nail has not grown back and I'm not sure if it ever will!!! I was so devastated and in tears and he was not even sympathetic about what had happened to me, so detached. I left the office and it's been months since this incident and I kept hoping that the nail might grow back, but it hasn't. This is the worst experience I've had with a doctor, he never even once contacted me to ask about the nail. I know it's too late for my condition, but I wonder if Dr. Dang is going to apply some conscience From now on and tell his patients about the possible consequences of removal of a nail so that his patients are aware what they are getting into.

I saw wonderful Dr. Asilli for decades and most recently he refurbished my orthotics -- for which I was required to pay up front. Two and a half years later I still receive a bill for the full amount I paid from another doctor in his practice. Whenever I call, the receptionist acknowledges the mixup, politely promises to straighten it out with the billing office and call me back but I never hear from her. The billing office never answers when I try to follow up. My husband, also treated about two years ago by a different doctor, is in a similar endless loop. He had what turned out to be athlete's foot. Regretably, I talked him into seeing Dr. Mizuo, assuring him if he worked with Dr. Asilli he must be good. Dr. Mizuo put him on heavy antibiotics with uncomfortable side effects. They didn't work and he gave him another prescription that turned out to be over-the-counter cream.
