Absolutely adorable little place!! We had a bit of trouble finding it and ended up walking around the building, but the short stroll was absolutely worth it. The food is to die for!! Our waiter, Angus, was SO nice, and made wonderful recommendations. My mother and I got the Shiitake Pho and the Mushroom Pastor Tacos. The pho was fantastic and super fresh, and the tacos were so flavorful!! If you like mushrooms, I would absolutely recommend the tacos; I think they'll feature in my dreams for the next few years!! We're hoping to stop by again tomorrow for lunch before leaving Kelowna to try more of the menu!! Overall fantastic place, and would absolutely recommend :)

The best meal I've had since Paris (yes France). I ordered the Pumpkin Ramen; Perfect flavour balance, flawlessly cooked, and the texture was sublime. Service was excellent. My only qualm is that I wish they would open one in Vancouver. Love this place to death! My husband had the tacos and said that they were exceptional as well :D HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Frankie We Salute You is hands down my favourite restaurant in Kelowna! Their diverse menu of vegan and vegetarian options, including brunch on weekends, makes it a great choice for plant-based food lovers like myself. They also offer their Sunday vegan sushi which is so unique in Kelowna and is absolutely amazing! In addition, I can't get enough of their cauliflower wings and the burger deals they offer on Wednesdays are a steal. To start we had the farmers market's tacos, and it was delicious. Love the cauliflowers and crunchy chips in the taco which gave some crunch. It's a perfect taco! For our mains, I had the Frankie "cheeseburger", the mushroom patty is very tasty, and the sesame fries are pure fried perfection. My husband opted for the chef garden sandwich with sesame fries, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. For dessert, we shared the Nanaimo bar cheesecake, and it was fantastic! The way they've taken inspiration from the classic Nanaimo bar and transformed it into a vegan dessert with cashew cream cheesecake is truly impressive. The taste was superb, and I highly recommend trying it! Beyond the delicious food, what makes Frankie We Salute You exceptional is the ambiance. It's a welcoming place, and the hosts and servers are not only friendly but also provide impeccable service. It's not an exaggeration to say that this is the best restaurant in Kelowna, period. If you're looking for a culinary experience especially vegan/vegetarian that will satisfy your taste buds and offers a warm atmosphere, look no further than Frankie We Salute You. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely delicious menu (every item was a hit - except one, and even that wasn't awful. Will explain in a minute) Very filling portions and every dish is well thought out and beautifully plated. All of the servers are kind and knowledgeable and it ambiance is lovely. We didn't sit outside as it was wasp season but it's equally nice inside. The ONLY mild disappointment was the cobbler dessert boasted a variety of Okanagan stone fruits but when it arrived there were only blueberries (not quite a stone fruit ). I wish the server would have informed us so we could have made an alternate choice, but a small bump in an otherwise delicious experience,

I am in no way a vegetarian or vegan. Was on vacation in Kelowna and after a hot afternoon of hiking, my friend and I wanted a late lunch where we would feel full but not stuffed or bloated. After reading a bunch of reviews we decided on Frankie, we Salute you. We were greeted with a seriously cute outdoor patio in the parkade area but opted to sit inside where the decor was simple but beautiful. There were so many options to choose from but I decided to get the lunch special with the Thai cauliflower wrap, strawberry field salad, and strawberry mint lemonade. The Thai cauliflower wrap was absolutely delicious served with a beautiful sauce that reminded me a little of traditional Thai peanut sauce. Strawberry field salad was packed with fresh vegetables tossed in a light citrus dressing that was a great balance to the bold tasting cauliflower wrap. The lemonade was tart and perfectly refreshing. I was incredibly satisfied with the meal and it did not make me miss meat at all! I appreciate how a vegetarian restaurant was delicious without relying on frying its food, or going overboard with its salt or spice seasoning. As I was full from the lunch meal, but couldn't resist ordering the truffle popcorn, I got it to go for the road and was not disappointed. Omg it was so good! Highly recommend for all to give Frankie, we Salute you a try. I commented to the server that we needed a location in Vancouver and she said that the owners actually established Acorn, another great vegetarian restaurant located by Main and King Edward in Vancity.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! (Vegan) I can't rave about this place enough. Accidentally stumbled in here when I first got to Kelowna and boy did it impress! Every item on their menu is impressive and super flavorful. Not too salty and not too saucy. Just right! In the summer time, they have their patio opened and having food outside just feels so different. The ambiance of the place is lively and posh! Everything is clean and spacious. They've also kept their washroom super clean and it is an independent stall! In the winter time, you must get their soups! They're full of flavor and you can't go wrong with any of them. I had their cauliflower taco recently, I'm sure that's not exactly what they're called on the menu but you know what I mean. It was so tasty with a little salt and a little sour, perfect balance. Their staff are so friendly and always so cherry. Definitely come here if you're in town.

An absolute gem of a place that deserves every praise it can get. I had seen the rave reviews of this place, and a friend of ours insisted we have to check this place out. It's difficult to get in, so definitely make a reservation before coming. A more upscale place, but still reasonably priced for the quality and portions you get. Almost everything here is vegan and there is a lot of choice. Our party of four started by sharing a couple rounds of cauliflower wings ($8 plus tax); one maple garlic and one Thai lemongrass. Both were awesome -- I slightly preferred the latter, as it wasn't as sweet. The cauliflower wasn't too battered like so many cauli wing dishes, but was cooked to perfection and spiced decadently. 5/5 My wife and I shared a small broccoli caesar salad ($10 plus tax). This came with lots of fresh romaine, chickpeas, and sublime adzuki tempeh that was somewhat smoky, quite umami and softly textured (some of the best tempeh I've had). We were really happy with this caesar salad. 5/5 For my main, I ordered the grilled artichoke tubettone ($18.75 plus tax), which comes with a massive portion of perfectly cooked pasta. The garnishes were sublime -- the grilled artichokes were probably the best artichokes I've had in a meal, the pesto was creamy, the zucchini added a nice crunchier texture, the vegan feta added more creaminess, and the antipasto added a tangier, subtley tomato-y character. Absolutely brilliant, creative, and filling pasta dish. As someone who doesn't usually order pasta dishes in restaurants, this was damn impressive. 5/5 My wife was extremely happy with her chorizo ranchero bowl ($19 plus tax), and from my tastes, I occur. This dish came with an assortment of different items, the highlights for me being the potatoes (especially the decadent creamy sauce it came with), the salty vegan chorizo, and the grilled corn, but everything was really nicely curated. I would've been really happy with this dish. 5/5 As if we weren't full enough by this point, we ordered a cheesecake ($10 plus tax) to split for the table. The "cheese" was constructed with smores, marshmallows, and cashews, and the crust was an almond one. You get little bits of strawberry as a garnish, and chocolate-covered corn flakes. I don't have a huge sweet tooth, but this was tasty in small amounts. 4.5/5 The service was absolutely top-notch: attentive, informative, and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. If you're in Kelowna, you must absolutely go out of your way to eat here.

    Chorizo Ranchero Bowl
    Jeremy M.

The service was great and the food had so much flavor. I am a big meat eater but was very happy with my experience here. My wife is gluten free and she had so many options. The sweet corn queso is a must try app. The Chorizo Ranchero Bowl had so much flavor and left you feeling light. The grilled avocado bowl also was very good and is a little heavier with the rice. We were worried about taking our young kids but they had a mushroom burger and fries that they didn't realize was not meat. We told them after and they were shocked and I think will be more open to a veggie burger now. Overall we were very pleased with our experience and really enjoyed how much flavor it all had.

Laksa - very good except the tofu is bit salty
    Keun L.

I am not vegan but overall, I enjoyed the food. I liked the service and presentation and some of the food was great like the Tacos and Laksa. I thought the market soup was way too salty like the butternut squash. I think they are n the right direction but need to tone down salt on some dish.

    Butternut squash pasta

Can't say enough good things about Frankie's! Everyone I've brought here (yes, even meat-eaters) raves about how good the food is! The menu is altered seasonally, and I've never had a bad dish. The cocktails and desserts are also fantastic. The staff is very attentive and welcoming as well. I would recommend making a reservation, and definitely check out their Wing Wednesday!

Chickpea fries with a minty wasabi dipping sauce

If this place could have 10 stars I'd give them 11. I was in town for four days and didn't find them until day 3, so I went twice. Was a little hard to find the first round cause it was like right behind every other business behind District Market, but there it was FWSY! in all its glory. Everyone was incredibly chill and nice and the ordering times were perfect. Day 1 I had the chickpea fries with the minty wasabi dipping sauce and the bolognese in a gluten free version. Day 2 I had the pumpkin ramen and the crisp for dessert. If I had another day in this town I would have several other items on the menu... because every flavor, texture, and the look of everything you order here is absolute mastery. One other thing to note is you better make a reservation. Both times it was just me and I lucked out, but because everything at this place is amazing everyone else must think so too and sometimes there's a line... so book a reservation to secure your spot for this gem of a restaurant.

Their interpretation of ceviche was beautiful, they offer it with a Thai twist, coconut milk and basil. The drinks were great. Our server Maria was phenomenal, classy and professional. The other main we tried was the ginger scallion crab, which was Italian inspired but with Asian ingredients, such as black bean paste, a lovely dish. The portions were huge, so consider sharing. Every dish was painstakingly overdone and twisted until the joy within the food was gone. Crème brûlée, but without flavor or texture, (but a Nickelodeon slime green color to whet the appetite), Potstickers that required the jaws of life to separate prior to consuming. Shrimp dumplings in which a metric ton of salt was allowed into a 5"x6" serving dish. There were a good 7-8 servers for the 4 tables that were seated. In spite of this several items were forgotten or didn't come, a few drinks we ordered got left behind for 15-20 minutes. Overall just an extremely poor experience, and definitely won't return.

It consisted of a winter salad ($5), linguine carbonara ($25) and toblerone mousse ($5) for a total of $35. There was the perfect amount of gorgonzola, I actually want to take notes and make this salad at home in the future. The dessert was delicious, consisting of pear butter, fresh pear, hazelnut sponge and chantilly. Together, they were definitely worth $5 each. However, the Liguine Carbonara missed the mark. It was supposed to have Gunaciale, a rich, fatty cured italian pork product. However, I had a SINGLE small piece in my carbonara beneath the arugula. My cousin who ordered the exact same thing had 8+ pieces. The linguine itself tasted house made.. however the carbonara was extremely bland. I didn't taste any salt, pepper or cheese.
