Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid This Shop I took my 2023 Denali in for a simple repair after it was bumped in a parking lot on the bedside. I was told the repair would take about a week. Two weeks later, I went to pick it up and was shocked at the poor quality of work. The paint was awful -- the rocker panel wasn't even painted, there were runs in the clear coat, and the gravel guard looked completely different from the factory side. They agreed to fix it, but after another week, I picked up my truck and it somehow looked even worse. I was then told, "That's the best we can do, and if you want it to look good, you'll need to take it to another shop." This is the worst customer service and workmanship I've ever experienced. The passenger-side car fender on our 2010 Lexus had come detached across the top, and it was sticking out a few inches (possibly happened at the car wash). We called Franklin for an appointment, and they said to arrive in 45 minutes. Perfect! The manager, Shelton Byrd, personally took charge and said he would immediately attend to the problem. We waited about five minutes before he drove our car back out front--fender panel fixed perfectly! I asked him how much we owed him and he said--NOTHING! (Can you believe it?) Shelton was the epitome of a friendly, competent customer-service representative, and we can't thank him enough. Franklin Auto Body is now our preferred go-to shop for body work. Wonderful folks. If I could not mark any stars at all, I would. Don't waste your time even calling this shop. I called to get an appointment to bring my car in for repairs. The rude b***h on the phone asked who my insurance company was, and when I said Geico, she proceeded to tell me that they just did their DRP's (?) and may not be taking Geico customers anymore. I said, "So should I just find another shop?" She said, "Yeah, I think that would be a good idea." Worse customer service EVER!! Hope they go bankrupt if they don't want work with one of the largest insurance companies in the country. read more

Franklin auto body did a good job fixing our vehicle after we fell victim to a hit and run. They fixed it rather well and detailed the car inside and out. My only complaint is that they kept pushing the pick up date back 3 times without a heads up unless we called them on the day we were supposed to pick up our vehicle. Thus far we haven't had any problems with our car since we picked it up yesterday. read more

I'm from California in a rental car to have Thanksgiving with the Grandkids 2018 in Eagle ID. In a Reno Parking lot I was hit lightly, scraped exchange of paint and little scratch. Decided to have someone look at it and see if they can help me avoid a bunch of harassment from the rental Co. when I returned. Found Franklin Auto Body on Franklin Rd. and had the remarkable pleasure to run into Dave Higgs, ( I believe the owner). I asked Dave if he and staff could just buff it a little or whatever so I don't have to go through a bunch of heartburn when I return the car. Dave said give him 45 minutes and we'll see what we can do!! Within 45 minutes Dave returned the car and you couldn't even see where the scrape was. Dave turned to me and shook my hand and wished me a Happy thanksgiving and Merry Christmas.......No charge! I said "NO way" I offered him a water and we walk into his office and settled! NOW! How about that for a business owner! You can bet I will tell all my kids to go to Franklin Auto Body in the future. Try them out! I do not feel you'll be disappointed at all. We have used these guys for several years. Every time some one smashes our cars. But, I accidentally scraped the side of my car on the garage pulling in. I lived with the scuffs from using too rough of a sponge to remove the house paint for a year. I was worried about the cost and whether or not to use our insurance. I finally went today to get an estimate. They told me to come back when the guys came back from lunch but estimated it would take an hour. I went back. They pulled my car in. I waited 15 minutes and they said my car was done. It looks perfect! I asked how much I owed them. He said, "nothing. Merry Christmas and thank you for being a customer". Astounded! A year of hating the scuff and dread of the cost, and I got it fixed quickly and free! If your car needs body work, I cannot recommend them enough! read more

I was in an accident and I needed my front bumper and headlight replaced. After checking all the reviews for my insurances preferred vendors I chose this shop and I'm glad I did. The owner and staff treated me like family. They were transparent through the whole process and explained everything I had questions about. They didn't treat me like I didn't know anything because I'm a female and they even polished the other headlight that didn't need replacement so that my headlights would both look the same. I'll be back if I ever need more body work! read more
