The billing department is run by crooks. They did a simple bridge replacement for me, the dental insurnace paid all contracted charges (over thousands of dollars), and we have met their billings staff in person and had the insurance company on the phone to verify the patient's liabilty is only $25, and we have sent them the EOB showing that, despite all those, they continue to bill us in excess of $2500, and will not respond our calls and letters to resolve this issue. Who runs a business like this? When you knowingly sent a false bill in the mail, it is mail fraud, simple as that. read more

BEWARE !!!!! I see all of the positive reviews, pertaining to work completed. But obviously the vast majority put their trust in someone that is respectful up front, BUT you need to check your invoices !! As per my dental insurance company, I was OVERCHARGED BY OVER 30% !! Yes, overcharged more than $ 400.00 !! I got double and triple charged by adding and creating new categories. The staff has literally lied to me on the telephone several times, telling me reimbursement is on the way, only to receive a small portion of what the Franklin Dental staff told me on the phone that I would receive. And that small portion of what I am owed shows up 6-8 weeks later, when I had to pay Franklin Dental immediately after leaving the operating chair !!! read more

Two doctors on staff and scores of other staff specializing in various dental activities. The staff are pleasant, talkative and informative. The doctor who performed my work had great "bedside" manners and put me at ease. Thank you Dr. Maizan and staff for making my first visit to your office an excellent experience. I made an appointment for cleaning and consultation on what I should do to have my three chipped front teeth repaired. Dr Paul gave me his analysis of what was needed, made a 2nd appointment for the following week and they were able to do all the X-rays, 3 bondings and 3 chipped front teeth repairs and cleaning in one visit. Add to that a surprise phone call that evening from Dr Paul to ask if everything was good. Thats the first time thats every happened to me in my 75 years of visiting Dentists. What an awesome Dental Care Facitily with a staff thats totally committed to your comfort and care. No freezing necessary and no pain. Dr. Maizan is my Mother's dentist. She is recently widowed and the way he takes care of her is so heartwarming. I was so impressed with his caring nature and obvious concern for his patients well being. She needs a good deal of work, and he is working with her in a way that truly goes above and beyond. I feel truly grateful that she is in his care. It was wonderful to see that kind of caring and empathy, instead of just a money grab. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I so far have been having great experiences here. Going to a prior dentist before coming here, I knew I had about 7 cavities to be filled. When I came here and they did xrays and the Dr confirmed the same 7. Therefore I know I was on the right track. I am so nervous of the dentist but the DR listened to me to give me extra nova cane and nitrous. Sarah and Michelle are fantastic, experienced and knowledge, made me feel so comfortable. I am at a loss of words at how unprofessional this practice is. I have been a loyal customer for NINE years. NINE. Yet when I went for my last cleaning when I checked out I told them I needed to renew my Vantage One which they've ALWAYS done for me in the past in person as I checked out. The girl at the desk didn't know how and so they said they'd check me out for the discounted Vantage One amount and since she couldn't help I'd need to go home and set up account and let them know when I did and they'd adjust my bill. A few days later when my out of town family left I set up Vantage One and immediately called Franklin Dental to let them know. She confirmed she saw I had Vantage One in the system but they still sent me a bill for $127 saying they wouldn't honor Vantage One bc I didn't set it up day of - when their office person couldn't help me! They tried to tell me it's a Vantage One policy not their practice policy and there's nothing they could do. so I called vantage one and spoke to TWO different people who told me that wasn't true, they would take membership retroactively and that they were shocked Franklin Dental would handle this way. We'll never return here and I won't be paying them another penny. This is unbelievable how they treated me on phone when I asked why they weren't accepting the plan which I got put into place 2 business days after my appointment. read more

It had been a while since my last visit to a dentist. (7 years) I had to get a crown replaced, 3 small cavities filled and 1 tooth needed some bonding. A friend recommended Franklin Dental Care. Since I was a new patient, I received all X-rays and a cleaning for around $75. All the rest of the services were just under $2k combined. (I paid cash) I got my teeth cleaned on a Monday. 2 days later I got all the other work done, other than the crown itself. I then returned about 2 weeks later to just get the crown installed. I was very impressed with everyone at the office and all the work that was done. My dentist and team worked with a great deal of efficiency so I never felt like I was waiting for no reason and the biggest thing was there was no pain. went there due to receiving flyer for 59 dollar check up and cleaning. Everyone was very nice and polite. I really did like the staff. Dr. Paul was also very nice and knowledgable. my only issue with them was this: Deep cleaning with Antibiotic treatment - 2k (1850 with "discount") 4 cavities and 1 crown = 2900 (2350 with "discount") I'm not dentist tourist so don't know the prices, but in my experience fillings are between 60-120 each. Standard cleaning with x-rays usually 150. Deep cleaning is 250-350 maybe... i can't comment on the work, but these are HEAVILY inflated prices. You can fly to europe, spend a week there, get your dental work done (and vacation) for 4k. Zero stars for pricing. 4 stars for friendliness. average, 2 star. read more

I have been very impressed with this dental practice. The equipment used for x-Rays and evaluation is very high-tech. The staff is super friendly. I have some sensitivity, and the hygienist was extremely careful to make my cleaning as painless as possible. The dentist recommended placing a certain type of filling to treat the sensitivity that I was having due to gum recession. Again, the dentist and assistant were super concerned about my comfort while the work was being done. I have no complaints whatsoever! read more

Having moved to the Nashville area a little more than a year ago, I needed a dentist to crown my implant and to correct some bite issues. My molars were in pretty bad shape from years of abuse from sour hard candy. When I first walked in It was a little overwhelming. It was unlike any dental office I had ever seen. The best way to describe it is a day spa, for your teeth! Dr. Gordon and her staff have, without question, gone above and beyond what I could have ever expected. She actually replaced a crown that SHE wasn't happy with at her own expense. Who does this? I've had a couple of cleanings by very gentle, competent, warm and friendly hygienists. I've had, I believe, six new crowns installed...and they are beautiful. Whatever expectation you have for a dentist, they will exceed it. I've had a horrible time getting an appointment here. I originally called in February and my appointment was canceled due to Covid. I've called multiple times to get in since and they've been slow to return calls and get me in the schedule. When I finally did get an appointment, they did not show up! I waited outside for 25min (office door was locked) and called multiple times. My tooth pain is getting worse and I'm probably going to have some major issues for letting this go on for months. I went to this place a month or so ago to have a new crown cemented in and "Naomi" was the tech that was trying to get the "temp" off. Her hand slipped and her "Pliers" popped up and chipped one of my front teeth!!! Which is a beautiful veneer that I had done 5 years ago! Naomi said nothing happened and I told her I could feel the chip!!!!! The doctor, Michael Kaisher (not sure of last name) came in and CONFIRMED my tooth was chipped AND said they would take care of it and he even said he'd need to send a piece of the chipped veneer in so the color would match. When I went to leave, Naomi walked me up to the front desk and told them to schedule the tooth replacement and said "no charge" and we also scheduled a cleaning. I went in today for my appointment and after they cleaned my teeth, the doctor came in and said "he didn't remember the incident"!!!! Then someone came in with the paperwork and amount I WOULD BE PAYING FOR THE TOOTH TO BE REPLACED THAT THEY CHIPPED!!! So, the dentist literally told me he didn't remember the conversation or my tooth being chipped AND Naomi wasn't working today!!!!!!!! I am in total shock that they collaborated and are lying about chipping my front tooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm soooo mad at myself for not getting something in writing when it happened!! I honestly was so shocked I admit I caused a scene and didn't care. I'm 57 years old and don't lie and DON'T THINK OTHER ADULTS DO ESPECIALLY IN BUSINESS!!! Can you say "attorney"??? I'm absolutely sick and now have a very expensive veneer crown in the front of my mouth that Naomi chipped while trying to pull a temp off with some kind of dental which the doctor confirmed and now they're both lying about anything even happening! I spoke to Leslie at Franklin Dental Care on Sept 18th, 2020 & explained that I am self pay & could not afford XRay's due to COVID, that I only wanted a cleaning and she said I would sign a waver & not have XRays. So, I scheduled a cleaning for 10.28.20. The day of I called to confirm no XRays and the office manager said NO I MUST have XRays. Very disappointing that they do not honor their word. Caution they might potential scam you! Yes, seriously! I was very disappointed with my visit and I had an awaking call! Never go to one of those profit only driven company/ corporate owned clinics! They will try to exaggerate your case and manipulate you to agree for extensive and expensive unnecessary work! They might smile on the door but once you are on their chair they will do their best to screw and scam you. In my case I been going to their sister clinic ( owned by the same company) they check my teeth just a month before my visit. I brook my tooth on christmas day and needed an appointment and they had one for me. The dental assistance acted as the doctor and immediately told me you will need a crown... not only to the broken tooth but the others next to it... asked for the justification she just said its too big ... the doctor came next ( Matt K) and immediately smiled as if he scored big and said both those teeth need crown immediately! I asked why he said the broken filling is too big.. And the dental association recommend crown the tooth once more than 50% is filling ... I asked ok what is the percentage of the tooth? He did not answer .. I asked what is the durability of the crown and what kind of future sensitivity/complication I can experience .. he smiled and put his had on my shoulder and said good questions but good for you no root canal filling. He added I will give you both options( Crown/Filling) the billing assistance came next looking made and stressed and presented the prices in a rude way... and charged me 85$ for office visit even so they did nothing to me. I left with my head spinning but I was determine to figure this out. I went to another dentist that had tons of experience and he owns his clinic ... he took close look and mention that there was plenty of structure in the tooth and no crown was really needed. He replaced the filling and he recognized that my bite needed adjustment and that is why I brook my tooth the first place. Hence, Dr Matt saw was the last one in 2017 who did the screening about it but off course he would not address such thing that could avoided me the pain. I have been feeling great thanks to the wise dentist that I went to after visiting Franklin Dental. My advice is to avoid them if you can for your own befit but if you have to go, then ask for a second opinion cause I would not trust anything they say. read more

I went to the Macon, Ga office for a couple of routine cleanings and was satisfied with the service. I also had a Crown installed at this office and did not have any complaints about the service other than the Crown came off a couple days after it was installed while I was eating a hamburger. Fortunately I did not swallow the Crown & I went back to have it reinstalled. I did not have insurance & at each visit I paid the balance in full on my credit card & got a receipt. A few months after my last visit I started receiving bills for various services that I had supposedly not paid for - using a fluoride paste to clean my teeth an x-ray they said they made to see if the Crown seated properly when it came off & had to be reinstalled, & several other dubious charges for various amounts. As each of the bills came in I called billing & after a discussion & them checking with the Macon office was assured the bill would be corrected. (They totaled over $150) Several were removed as promised but $56 has been turned over to I.C. Systems for collection. I have never failed to pay a valid bill in my life but these charges are bogus & I am certain that I am not the only one who has been charged for services they did not receive. read more

Recently moved to Tennessee and needed to find a dentist and fortunately first time was the charm. The office is easy to find, lots of parking and is very neat and professional looking. The staff is extremely friendly and although I dread the dentist like no other, the routine cleaning experience was quick and painless. They still had a Christmas tree up (in March) which was odd....but hey, I can't knock people that want to celebrate year round! They do the Invisilign program and are part of the same dental group that my place in Florida was with so they have a lot of experience with the program and even offer deals on the whole process from time to time. Definitely will recommend to anyone who is looking for a new dentist or to change dentists! read more

They have treated me like one of the family, NEVER tried to get me to sign a silly paper saying they are not liable for anything that may go wrong, and the doctor himself told me that if anything did go wrong he would take care of it for me. I didn't think I could afford the work I needed but in my case their prices were even a slight bit lower. They also offer interest free financing. If you have basic good credit and are even unemployed you will probably still qualify. A business staff member determines this within minutes as you sit in your private room. They have several options available and I found the entire process a zero stress experience. I brag about them every chance I get. WARNING: Stay away from this place unless you want your teeth murdered! Came in for a routine cleaning, and they wanted to replace a filling so I decided to be preventative. Lo and behold, they then cracked that tooth, causing me to have to get a crown, drilled a hole in another crown because they have dental assistants adjusting your bite which is horrendous. They drilled so far down on a different tooth that I will need another crown. I finally had to request for the dentist to come in because the assistant couldn't get my bite right. The scary thing is you are all numbed up so you have no idea what sort of murder they have committed until you get feeling again. So, 3 teeth ruined by this place! You can't get your teeth back, this is like breaking bones and then having to screw them back together! A lot of these sketchy dentists do this purposely and say your teeth eroded (this is what they tried to tell me) and then they give you the option to fix it at their office and charge you for it. Scammers! No pain and no problems until I stepped into this place! And, to top it off Dr. Gordon adamantly tried to sell me invisalign stating that I had an overbite. I have perfectly straight teeth, but oh she wanted to give me a huge discount!! These people are super unethical and are ruining people's teeth to make large profit margins. No one likes going to the dentist. Even if there are no cavities, holding your mouth open while someone else cleans and probes inside for 30 to 40 minutes isn't enjoyable. With that being said, the Doctors and dental staff here are professional, seem to care, and are upfront with the cost of their services.
