I have now been seeing Dr Patterson for 8 years and he really is the Best!. All the hygienists are so thorough and patient while they clean my teeth and they check in about any sensitivities. Christine did a great job! Dr Patterson always takes time and never seems rushed, even though he is very popular. When I retired I lost my dental insurance, but they have an in house plan that helps a lot. I needed a crown to replace dental work done by a previous dentist. The two visits I had with Dr. Patterson to achieve this were painless and highly skilled. On the first visit, after 2 hours in the chair, I wasn't even sore after walking out with a temporary crown. I was surprised and happy. Before this treatment, Dr. Patterson explained why I needed a crown and answered all of my questions. He is friendly, calm, patient and highly skilled. He's terrific. Went it for an Endodontic appt but was made aware they did not have a Dr in that specialty in the office. I wishe the secretary had told me about it but in the end I got to meet Dr Pattereson who took the time to discuss my issue, and was very instructive on what to do and who to see. I very much appreciated his attention. Although I did not use their service per se. There is no parking , it is street parking 2 hrs max. from 8am. read more

I felt like he asked all the right questions and gave me feedback on what needs to be done and what steps to do to get where I need to be with my dental health. My cleaning was thorough and pain free although suffering from inflamed gums. When my appointment was over Angelica kindly made my next appointment to fit around my schedule and explained to me what my next visit will Intel. Insightful advice from both doctors. Nadine is an excellent hygienist. Friendly and helpful front desk. Organized and well-equipped practice. The doctors' understanding (both have the same opinion) of the long-term situation (with compelling reasoning and explanation) was different from decades of earlier diagnoses, which I got overseas. The doctors have proposed convincing strategic long-term care options without any pressure, which is both useful and nice. The practice was purchased from a retired dentist about 10 years ago. So it has been around for a long time. The new dentists are experienced and friendly. The space was recently renovated. They have 3-D imaging and X-Ray facilities. Medical, billing and appointments are all managed by, what appears to be, an integrated computer system, and it feels like everyone is well-informed and organized. They bill my dental insurance directly and then charge me for any difference. I am very happy to recommend this practice! read more

Could've sworn I wrote a review already years ago but this is hands down my favorite dental office. I started coming here in 2014 and stayed with them until now because every encounter has been transparent, caring and quick. Dr. Patterson has always been detailed and patient in going through updates or any work that needs to be done. When they changed insurance coverage he told me months ahead to prepare. Especially in times of stress such as a recent emergency floss situation, they were able to accommodate me quickly. Their dental assistants are kind and knowledgeable as well. And if you're concerned about going to the dentist during covid - Their precautions for covid is the most thorough of all my friends' dentists. I would recommend them to any friend and/or family. PATIENTS BEWARE: FRAUDULENT BILLING PRACTICES!!! AVOID THIS DENTAL PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! I've been going there for 18 months, and they have demonstrated a pattern of engaging in fraudulent billing practices. In October 2022, they made me pay a co-pay for my cleaning. I later found out that my dental insurance covers 100% of preventive services. My account was showing a credit balance, but they did not refund me automatically. Rather, I had to figure this out on my own and ask for a refund on my credit card. They were unable to do so, and I had to wait for them to cut a paper check. When I went in for a cleaning a few weeks ago, they tried to do the same exact thing. I told them to bill my insurance, and sure enough, it was 100% covered (which they can easily check on their end). I went in on 10/31 for a few fillings. They told me my co-pay was $250. When my insurance processed the claim, my co-pay was only $176, so they overcharged me by $74. Of course, I have yet to hear from them and had to check this on my own. They also charge a 4% fee for paying by credit card, despite it being their preferred payment method. Time for me to find a new dentist! read more

Randy was super professional and guided me through the process start to finish. He made sure to find an appointment for me promptly and get me in with the specialist next day. Best experience at a dentist office ever. I finally don't stress about dental appointments. Everyone is friendly , professional, and organized, so there is minimal, if any, waiting. Dr. Patterson is positive and friendly and actually makes me feel good about my teeth. He encourages rather than criticizes and fully explains what he is doing (before and after all procedures). He has needed to repair work done by a previous dentist that was never comfortable and the difference is amazing. My teeth have never felt so good. He's a really nice positive person. Even when I have been critical of a past dentist's work, he has never said a negative thing. He just finds solutions to the problems and fixes them. Just completed a visit for my first appointment with Dr. Patterson. I had a wonderful experience. There was 0 wait (possibly due to improved scheduling for COVID). The X-ray technician was super nice and empathetic. Dr. Patterson took the time to review my X-rays with me and give me insight into what he was looking at (and looking for) in a way no other dentist has. Never written a yelp review before, and never thought my first one would be for a dental office, but I want my recommendation for Franklin Dental to be out there for people looking for a new dental office! Scheduling cleanings is easy and convenient and their COVID protocols make me feel very safe. I also did invisalign through Franklin dental. After completing my full set of 10 trays, one stubborn tooth was not cooperating and wouldn't move where we needed it to be. Dr. Patterson took new impressions of my teeth and we ordered 10 more sets of trays - I didn't pay a DIME for these extra trays!!! Couldn't believe it. Once that tooth moved to where it was supposed to be, he also performed a gum procedure where he used a laser to make my gums more symmetric (I wouldn't have ever known this was a thing) which made ALL THE DIFFERENCE with my smile! This non invasive procedure was super easy, not painful at all, and healed quickly and painlessly. read more

Dr. Michael Villavecer immediately offered a quick fix to remove and re-solidify the filling; he was insanely thorough, numbed the area effectively, and sent me on my way. For the first time ever he PERSONALLY followed up with me a few hours later via his personal number to make sure everything was feeling ok, and that the sensitivity was gone. Me and my husband have been going to Franklin Dental for over 10 years and it has been a great experience for all of this time. They always keep us on track with out 6 months cleaning appointments and they are very proactive if we have any issues with your teeth. Like last time I went to see Dr Growny they noticed that my gums were bleeding a lot and that I have more cavity than usual (yes, they know my teeth by now!), so before asking me to buy stuff to help me deal with those issues they gave me a new oral oral solution to try (please note that it was not a small sample size) and they gave me a new floss to try (Coco Floss). This cocofloss has more texture to it than a floss I used before that would just glide through my teeth and not pick anything. Unlike other flosses with more texture this one doesn't fall apart into individual threads when you clean your whole mouth. So I don't have to go for extra floss. To sum it up: great place, great people (all people: the dentists, the assistants, the office) and great service. read more
