Dr. Sidi has been my dentist for over 20 years. I've had a LOT of dental work done by Dr. Sidi over the years. I have bad TMJ and brittle like glass, fragile like Styrofoam teeth; I've required a lot of gentle patience. He and his team of dental and surgical technicians are the BEST. EVER. The office is scrupulously clean, Dr. Sidi's work is impeccable, his hand is gentle, he's very honest about what has to be done and what does NOT have to be done (no up-selling), and he explains everything very well. The front staff makes sure that insurance is up to date and direct as possible. They all work great as a team, demonstrate a lot of mutual respect for one another, and are very welcoming, generous, and funny. COVID-19 compliant- Best front desk help I've seen in SF, my X-ray technician made it easy for x-rays and was hospitable, but Dr. Sidi who I found on the Yelp, was THE best D.D.S. I've met in a long time- he looked at my x-rays and actually walked me downstairs to an available endodontics specialist who had an earlier appointment for me- the X-rays were $50.00 out of pocket, but his advice was worth way more- i didn't realize i has cracks in my back teeth!!! Excellent dental care and superb customer service. The reception and treatment areas are comfortable and meticulously clean, and Dr. Sidi and his staff are consummate professionals, welcoming, diligent, and thoughtfully conscientious. I had a dental cleaning on July 8th (after the reopening) and felt completely safe, and could see that the staff was protected as well. I was last there on the very day that SF implemented the shelter-in-place, right after a root canal that morning, and Dr. Sidi made sure that the temporary filling he did would last even longer than usual, given the uncertainty as to when dental practices would reopen and I could get the crown I needed. I am forever grateful for this - in a time of so much uncertainty, at least this was one less thing I had to worry about. They are also honest and understand limited budgets, so they work with you in terms of setting up a treatment plan in terms of order of necessity. (I had some sub-par dental work done in Italy, and am repairing it.) I finally don't dread going to the dentist, because it no longer feels overwhelming. read more

I found them from A) coupon for awesome deal 2) reviews here 3) they're on the block of my work, yay. Bonus points: -didn't try to bamboozle me into paying for bleaching -didn't talk down to me about the eeeeevils of not flossing (I do it well and daily thanks) -no other scare tactics like giant rotten mouth photos glued to the ceiling when they tilt back the chair -Pretty view and clean bright office -The deal for the cleaning sounded too good to be true. First off a caveat - I've been going to British dentists for the last 30 years and so hate, hate, hate going to get stuff done. Usually I leave fingernail marks in the armrests I'm so scared. Anyway, since I needed a clean and my work dental plan hasn't started yet I looked around for someone to do a clean and scrub as cheaply as possible. A review of the ads in the SF Bay showed two places offering deals; this chap and Ocean View Dental. After reading the reviews this chap looked by far the better option. The visit was a revelation. Lisa did the lion's share of the work with care and tact, no jabbing of the gums or rasping of the teeth. She kept up a commentary and that, coupled with good classical music, got me to unclench and relax a little. There was also no hard sell for more work, in fact they said one more clean and I would be in excellent shape. She also gave good advice on brushing and flossing, gave me a free toothbrush and floss and was an all round good egg. Dr Sidi also did an inspection and was highly professional and reassuring. All this for $69, unbeatable value for money. As soon as work come through with my insurance policy I'm signing up as a full time customer. read more

I LOVE DR. SIDI AND HIS STAFF! I had a root canal done once and it was perfect! I didn't experience ANY pain and if I had to have another root canal, I really would want Dr. Sidi to do it again. I also love the crown that he put on it too, it feels great and he was SO particular about the color that he sent it back to the lab so that the color of the crown could match the rest of my teeth perfectly. I don't know any other dentist who is so attentive to detail so your teeth are looking and feeling great. I love the staff, they are SUPER friendly and love to have fun while on the job. All of the hygienists are amazing and clean my teeth well! I really love going to the dentist's office because of them. They also know how to manage their schedules really well and fit people in when cavities need to be filled/emergency work needs to be done. They make you feel so comfortable in the dental chair that you really don't feel what's going on in your mouth AND you can't miss the spectacular views that you can see from all of the examination rooms! I am 69 years old and have had many dentists. When I found Dr. Sidi...I pretty soon realized I had found the dentist for the rest of my life. He and his entire staff are truly wonderful. He is calm and funny and a real people person. His work is impeccable. I now have one implant and may need more in the years to come. His hygienist, Therese, is terrific, as are his assistant, Jan, and his office manager, Charlene. Finally, I can look forward to going to the dentist rather than dreading it. For me this is a big deal, as I was always petrified to go. Dr. Sidi and I talk about travel a lot, as we are both keen to see the whole world. He is more than just my dentist. He is a friend. Great service, great dentist. I was impressed that his nurse cared enough to give me a mini-tutorial on how to brush teeth/floss better (my previous dentist's nurses never bothered to give tips...). While my teeth are in pretty good shape, new tips on how to brush/floss are always helpful. While Dr. Sidi didn't do too much besides tell me my teeth looked great/healthy (hey, to be honest, I do have pretty good teeth....I floss, brush twice every day, AND do Listerine), he was very generous and helpful. Dr. Sidi might not be on the "cheap" side, but whatever he charges, he is well worth the price (I never see the real bill, as it goes to my insurance company--I am fortunate here). I have had not-so-good dentists before. Dr. Sidi is the opposite of that, he and his staff are excellent. It is always a pleasant experience (imagine saying that about going to a dentist?). I know Dr Sidi from the sporting world, so when my long-term dentist retired he was the logical choice. Everyone in the office is so nice and efficient. Waiting room time is minimal. The hygienists do a very thorough job. Claude does a fine job fixing any cavities with minimal to no pain. My only concern is what am I gonna do when HE retires?? Let's hope it's not anytime soon. I have been seeing Claude and his staff for about 5 years--ever since I moved to San Francisco. Finding a good dentist is one of the most daunting challenges about moving to a new city, and I was lucky enough to find Claude, who is, by far, an excellent provider. I have been going to Claude for at least 15 years. My mother and my brother are also patients. Claude takes pride in his work and goes the extra mile to make sure that everything is "just right." I needed a crown a couple of years ago and Claude spent a lot of time with the guy downstairs who makes the crowns for him to be sure that the color would match my other teeth.
