I Bank at Camden Bank so I asked if they could hold the groceries while I went to the bank to get some cash. Luckly, I go to that branch often and they know me so I didn't need my ID to take some cash out. I went back to the store to pay for the groceries and when they run them up, I was $7.00 short. The young gentleman at the register took out his wallet and pulled out the $7.00 to pay the balance. I told I could just put a couple things back but he insisted so I let him. When I go back tomorrow, I am dropping off an envelope for him with a thank you note and the money to pay him back. This was completely unexpected so I felt I wanted to acknowledge his thoughtfulness. Thank you.

Not only do they totally ignore the customers, each sub takes 10-15 minutes to make, and they make one at a time. Phone orders throw things into reverse. An automatic answer is that phone orders take 45 minutes. In person orders average 30 - 40 minutes. On top of it they are miserable. More than once I have seen customers complain. Nothing changes.

When I got home and discovered this, I called them and they admitted that they forgot to bring out the meat. They offered to send me a gift card with the amount charged wrongly for the meat. This was very inconvenient, however, because I live 25 miles from the store and didn't have the groceries I needed right then. I suggest to anyone who uses the Hannaford to Go service to get out of the car and check your items against the bill to make sure you are not being charged for missing items.
