We also did the afternoon tea, which was absolutely lovely and a good value. Our hotel room was clean, comfy, modern, and spacious. The spa facilities were also extremely clean and well kept, with the ladies locker room stocked with everything you could ever need. Every staff person we dealt with from the hotel to the restaurants to the spa was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the hot tub/sauna/steam room area.. yes, it was crowded a few times but I noticed that crowds in both the pool and hot tub areas tended to clear quickly and several times I had both to myself! I especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches everywhere, like cold washcloths available for post-sauna cooldowns and fresh flowers all over the place. The vibe was extremely relaxed and I appreciated that when staying in the hotel you get full use of the spa facilities even on check-out day. We had breakfast and lunch at Kensington's and also had the afternoon tea. Everything was delicious!! Good cocktails too. I wished the indoor pool had been larger to better accommodate busy times, and the spa treatments are definitely on the pricey side, but those are about the only two criticisms I can come up with about this place! If you keep going you get to the check in counter a lounge and a juice bar that also serves cocktails. You go through a door on the left that leads to a pool area, gym, outdoor lounge and quiet room. In here are also doors to the locker rooms bin the locker room there are vanity's, showers, changing rooms, a sauna, steam room and hot tub. I spent the majority of my time in the hot tub and sauna. The vanity area provides deodorant, lotion, hair gel, hair dryer, a comb, q tips, & mouthwash. If you go back out and go to the right of the Enterence & up stairs there is bar, and then a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating as well. The food was good, the spa was relaxing. The reason it has 4 stars instead of 5 is that the check out was long lasting because they were in the process of updating their birthday reward program and it wasn't matching there flyer on the counter. They did end up matching the flyer in the end it just took a long while.

One of the staff was literally a fairy god mother and anything we needed she was already there with it, she was so on top of everything and made the experience so enjoyable and relaxing! However, my service was not as phenomenal. I booked a simple haircut as my service. The lady that did it was nice but rushed through the service and was very rough on my hair to the point I was wincing. The length and cut came out good, she used like no product on my hair except a heat protectant and it just looked so dry and not great when she was done. I was disappointed but luckily my sister had some products with her so I was able to fix it a little bit. What they don't tell you also is that on the weekends they charge an additional 10$ for all services, as well as automatically add gratuity (I wouldn't have tipped as much for what I received). For the amount I paid for the service ($115) I was expecting much more care and quality and would have been better off going to any other salon and paying $60 for much better results. I don't recommend getting hair services done here but do highly recommend the other amenities!

So this will help the review. The Thursday night we stayed was my mother and I, she got a junior suite. It had 2 king size beds, a beautiful living room area with a lot of seating and tv, a huge walk in closet and beautiful decor all around. This was a perfect set up for all the girls to get ready for the wedding the next day, it was spacious and made for beautiful pictures. Some areas do need a little cleaning up, and some decor needed a little tweaking but overall the room was magical. We stayed on the 10th floor and overlooked the city, it was a beautiful view. An issue that I ran into was the doors slam HARD. You'll get used to it but it sounds so loud you can hear everyone leaving their rooms if they don't slowly close the door themselves. Also the toilets when you sit they move, kind of feels like they're broken even though they aren't so be mindful of that. And then being that high up be mindful it takes about 5-10 minutes for the shower water to warm up. It does get extremely hot after that waiting period but if you didn't know you'd think there's no hot water. The check in process both times was pretty smooth. When my husband and I checked in for our stay, the lady who checked us in was pushy and kind of rude. I didn't like her very much, an older taller woman. All the younger people were sweet as pie and very helpful. We stayed In a one bed and this was excessively smaller to what I had the night before of course but we worked with it. I think for the price point for this room it didn't match. Yet again we needed the hotel for pictures and the ambience, and it did its job being able to take pictures in the lobby, the grand staircase the balcony area all of those were worth it. But I would never get that room again , it's not worth it. The decor is beautiful don't get me wrong but we had too much stuff from the wedding that room became extremely tight- fast. The elevators are very small, and creepy. But they did their job. The security personnel were great. They did their job, were great to talk to, and very kind. They even helped us navigate places- when we had questions. They became like our friends because we used them a lot since so many of us were in and out to prep for my wedding adventures. All and all I had a great time.

The pool area is still really in need of a deep clean. The baseboards are filled with dirt and possibly mold? Tons of dead bugs by the hot tub windows. For as pricey as this place is, it's really dirty when you look around. This wouldn't fly in a 5 star hotel anywhere else. Mall is awful- almost empty except for the long term lease places. Many aren't even staffed all day. That was not a good move! I miss it but................
