They have lifeguards which make it very safe. Plenty of parking which you pay $10 cash for. Entrance to the pool is $5 a person cash or card. Things to note-you can bring blankets, towels, clothes, beach chairs and medications inside the pool area. My son uses an EpiPen and asthma meds and they were allowed in. You cannot bring any food or drinks besides water bottles. You can bring a cooler but no ice. Any other food can be left in the car. I also saw you cannot bring certain goggles for the pool. I will say, they have really improved their menu this year! The chicken tenders and fries were better this year. They added funnel cake and dipping dots, and even have the icy dipping dots which is great for my son who is allergic To dairy. They sell chips and soda bottles, no fountain drinks anymore. You can ask for cups with ice for $1 more. The garlic parm sauce i got for my chicken tenders was sooo good! We spent about $100 on a bunch of food here for 4 but it was well Worth it. Def love how they extended the menu! Plan to return here soon

Picturesque river views on both side, with lots of trees, wildlife and waterfront views. There are lots of benches, ample parking and rest room at the end of the mile stretch. This park is perfect for quiet walks, bird watching, walking your dogs or just to spend time in nature. I highly recommend a visit if you are around the area

I visited this park as part of the Mermaid Festival. By the…read moretime I arrived, there was no parking available at the park. It has a very accessible trail that is paved and allowed you to walk along the Hudson River. The trail was peppered with benches. I saw the lighthouse from afar. I didn't see anyone walking out to it, so I am assuming access was unavailable the day I was there. The restrooms weren't open. They provided port-o-potties. I'm not sure if it was as due to the festival or whether it was a common occurrence. There was also a nice children's play area. In order to give it a more representative review, I will have to return at a time when it is just serving as a park with no special events.
