Lovely park alongside the hudson river. There are picnic benches as well as a playground area. There is a path to get to the Lighthouse which is nice. Walk, or run alongside the water with amazing views of the lighthouse and the Tappan Zee (Mario Cuomo) bridge. Right now there is a mural wall project where various artists paint on a long wall. There is some nice artwork up there. Great place for an afternoon walk/run.

Beautiful park. Ppl need to curb their dogs. Seriously was poo everywhere, and the kids were on the field trying to learn soccer. I saw a man walking his dog and not picking up after the dog. What a shame. A few ppl ruin it for everyone else. There are a lot of picnic tables, grills, a playground, and parking. Great place to visit with friends and family.

Park has a nice view by the river, great place for barbecuing and gathering with the family. There is a dog park too! But it can be a bit dusty because some areas have dead grass or muddy depending on the weather.

Had a wonderful time here last weekend for a BBQ. This is a really beautiful park right by the Hudson River in Sleepy Hollow. Even though the parking fee was a bit steep ($8) and the bathrooms could be cleaner, overall I think its a worth the visit if you're hosting a BBQ or a larger than a few people event. Some of the picnics tables could be updated as one of the tables we were using the top were about to come off but while I was here I saw the trash cans being diligently emptied which was nice to see they do make efforts to maintain the park. The view of the river is breathtaking and honestly really hard to beat in the tri-state area. I was here before during the winter while the park was blanketed with snow and that was quite an experience as well. Certainly makes you appreciate the warm and nice weather while its here. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and to get around the parking fee definitely can just park few blocks outside the entrance if you don't mind walking a bit.

here for fireworks; anything shiny and this little cat is there. breathtaking. also views from three different other spots showcasing.

my first time coming here; I came for the fourth of july fireworks. they were absolutely beautiful and the park is expansive with the most wondrous views. I could see three different places shooting off fireworks throughout the night in a close distance. the park was held nice and clean, people respected your space. I'm from rockland and people just step over another and leave their trash everywhere. parking was easy, walking to the lighthouse was fun. I couldn't have asked for a better view: the new tappan zee bridge and a large moon for the backdrop. I'll most certainly come here during the day with my dogs. I'm also genuinely interested in taking up kayaking. as I was leaving from the show, so many people just pulled in on their kayaks, it must have been around 10.20; kayaking at night has to be such a humbling and spiritual experience.

Probably my favorite place to walk and relax, aways tale the walk between the Tarrytown train station to the lighthouse and its beautiful I could go there everyday

Nice park by the hudson. Doesn't have a huge kids playground. Not a huge sitting area but nice e little area by the water.

It was ok. Nothing to phone home about. The unobstructed views of the water and cliffs of NJ were stunning.

It's in front of a development that was Edge on the Hudson before there was Edge on the Hudson (so much for the hype there). Views of the Tappan Zee bridge and Hudson River are unavoidable which is a very good thing. Decent amount of walking paths and benches, in addition to the dedicated picnic area. Plenty of parking although it is paid via the Tarrytown parking app. Playgrounds are a bit dated but in great shape. Everything has soft, spongy ground around it. Good variety for different ages too. Haven't done the splash pad yet because it's winter but it is pretty sizable. Good amount of kids around here without it being overwhelming. Maybe not the most built up park in the area, but my toddler loves it and so do I.

Admission is Free but there is a cost for parking Our Experience: we enjoyed spending the afternoon outside on this gorgeous spring day walking along the river walk and playing on the playground. The walk was absolutely stunning and the boys enjoyed walking along the path, exploring the lookout area, seeing the boats in the water and the airplanes/helicopters in the sky. Hands down my favorite part of the day. The playground was adorable with two separate sections designed for kids of all ages. While the equipment was a bit outdated, I loved that it had that soft type ground underneath it to (sort of) pad a fall. Both boys really enjoyed their time there. There is a covered picnic area so feel free to bring food and drinks! There is also a restaurant right there in the park as well as walkable restaurants in the downtown area conveneintly located close by. It was a gorgeous spring day and there were ZERO crowds with only a handful of people walking the path and only one other family on the playground. I was shocked at how quiet it was but thrilled to have the place basically to ourselves. Will go back?: Absolutely YES! CJ keeps asking to go back to "look for sharks in the water" ( lol) and to "play on the red playground" Pro Tip: it is WINDY by the water so whatever the temperature is outside, subtract a few degrees or add a jacket when planning how to dress for the day. #tristatemama #tristatearea #momlife #motherhood #kid #instagood #momsofinstagram #parenting #momblogger #momreviews #familyfun #makingmemories #nature #hudsonriver #1000hoursoutside #westchestercountyny #playgrounds #tarrytownny #nyplayground #strollerfriendly

A beautiful view of the shore and a nearby bridge from the park benches, especially during sundown. There is a small playground nearby as well for the kiddies but a word of warning for the shore line walk, there may not be continuous fencing along the water so keep a tight leash on the younger kids. Even though there were plenty of signs warning against fishing, there were observed to be a few fishermen looking for a bite on a quiet summer evening. It was calming to observe the serenity and patience of the fisherman. Parking wasn't difficult (on a Sunday) however, I could see this being problematic on some weekends, as there were many residential street parking restrictions. The main parking lot doesn't provide for much parking.

There is paid street parking nearby now, which makes it easier to find a spot. On weekends, the walkway gets a little crowded. I've come during the day (during the week) and week nights though, and it hasn't been busy. I'm sure when the luxury buildings go up it'll be busier. This is a great place to come if you want to relax or take a stroll by the water. I'll definitely be back for another walk soon.

Visitors like me rave about the stunning, Greco-Persian walled gardens, dramatic Temple of Love, and sweeping Hudson River views, it offers a peaceful, cinematic, and highly rated escape for locals and out-of-state visitors. The landscape perfectly blends ancient-style ruins with vibrant horticulture, resulting in a peaceful, immersive retreat. I like the spectacular architecture, fountains, and beautiful floral arrangements. It is a tranquil escape from the city that delivers immense historical charm. Because the property is a former millionaire's estate undergoing a long-term revitalization, some guests note that portions can feel slightly unkempt or dilapidated. Parking can also become limited on busy, peak-season days. It holds an impressive 4.5+ average rating across travel platforms, with many reviewers calling it a "must-see".
