She is now trained as a service dog as I realized very soon after getting her that she has a very special personality. We also had weekly sessions where we came to V3's clean facility and trained with Baloo. Jeremy was very patient, knowledgeable, and understanding of our situation. The trainer (Alexis is AMAZING) reinforced our knowledge with weekly visits where we could participate in the training and track our dog's progress. The dog was already a great dog but definitely needed the fine tuning and skills to make neighbors and kids comfortable around him. The facility is great and the program was targeted toward our dog's needs. V3 even accommodated my request to come to our home over an hour away to make sure we could use our training in real life. Once selected to be able to adopt we were then told our dog was in another state and two hours away from us. Which we did go ahead and adopt but found that all the vaccines were done in an order that made them no longer affective so we had to do all vaccines ourselves. It also seemed to be listed as if our dog had been micro chipped but he was not. Also seems weird that they had several puppies rescued at the same time but didn't know who the mother was which makes me nervous that this could potentially be a dog mill rescue. I also had another friend try and adopt a sibling of our dog where a date and time was set up for the zoom home inspection only to have the person never call for the zoom and never again contacted to reschedule. When my friend asked about this they were told another family had adopted the dog. This seems wrong to do this to someone who took the tone off from work to do a home inspection only to never be contacted to say this had been canceled. This was not even the first step he had already got three references interviewed and and an over the phone interview and vet contacted from previous dogs history and was now just waiting to have the home inspection thru a zoom call never be call again until he reached out to the rescue to see why no one had contacted him at the set time to be then told the dog had been adopted by someone else. This was heartbreaking not only to the guy apply for the dog but to me as someone who had referred him to this company to only have this happen. We lived close by and could have had sibling doggy play dates. Very disappointed.

He had very little training and was quite reactive in new situations, often losing his cool ...and barking. He is now in a calm state of mind and able to learn and handle new challenges. After the vet visit it was confirmed the dog had heartworm. Dog was listed as 45lbs vet record stated 30lbs, actually vet visit confirmed the dog was under 20lbs. Dr. Brown did same-day emergency surgery in her fully equiped van, at my house, for less than it would have cost at a brick and mortar vet!! Her dentals also cost the same, or less, as brick and mortar vet hospitals. She is affiliated with an online pet pharmacy and so we get our meds at great prices too.
