I was in a financial bind, i bought a car at Franks in January, they are so polite, efficient and respectful. I was in and out. I needed a minor repair during my warranty period, they fixed it right away. Shortly after the warranty ran out, my car was making a noise. I brought it in, they fixed it at no cost to me, and safed me over $1500.00 I AM SO HAPPY THAT I WENT THERE TO BUY A CAR. AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. I will buy my next car here as well. Got myself into a serious financial bind and the only people willing to work with me towards getting a used car financed were the great guys at Frank's. From my initial contact with Bruce and eventual purchase with Kevin I was treated with nothing but courtesy and respect. They told exactly what I needed to have in hand when I came in and on the big day all went smoothly. In a bit over an hour I was on my way with better finance terms on my new(ish) ride then most so-called legit dealers would offer. Barring a dead battery which was quickly and cheerfully replaced under warranty I've had zero problems. Having said all this, its important to understand that just about the most important part of a used car purchase is the model of car you choose in the first place. ALL cars break and need repairs however choosing something (1) simple and (2) Japanese make the chances of a happy buying experience much better ... my '12 Honda Fit is a perfect example of this. I had challenged credit. I was able to secure a loan with Frank's for a well maintained 5 yr old car. Low down payment and easy weekly payments. Not only was the car trouble free (put on almost 200K miles in 4 yrs), any small issue I had I was able to get repaired there and that allowed me to make payments. Very flexible and professional. I would definitely use them again should the need arise. Free oil changes as well! read more

So the crappy sales men at Frank's Credit whatever in Manchester CT are probably expecting this review considering it happen no more than an hour ago. Basically, the sales man Bruce was wonderful giving me all the information I needed day 1. Day 2 and 3 he kept emailing me promptly and letting me know when a cheaper car (down payment) was available. THE DAY OF, emailing all day about the same car as the past few days prior, I kept Bruce updated with when I was coming in to PURCHASE the car. The second I walk in and introduce myself to Bruce, he acted shocked as if I never mentioned the car to him ever, as he informs me he is currently SELLING IT to a customer not even 3 feet away. This is most outrageous bull crap I have ever dealt with. Not trustworthy, not competent, and not professional. A waste of time, and a complete hassle. read more

I would NOT recommend this place. I purchased a vehicle (an expensive one at that - worth no more than $7,000 and it was listed as $11,000 plus interest.) I have been in for repairs numerous times and each time they treat me horribly. They have no manners and have no interest in making the customer happy. For those with poor credit - I suggest saving up the $2,000 or $3,000 for a down payment and going to a well known dealer. That is what I will be doing for my next car. This is simply not worth it. My warranty will be up soon and my major repair has yet to be fixed. I have a feeling I will be spending hundreds of dollars in repairs soon. I will be going to another shop. Well..... They are very rude and if the car has too many issues and u no longer want the car u can return it....but they will take you to court for what u owe and then turn around and sell the car for the same price....even after they tell u that if u no longer can afford it or want it that u can return it.... they lie to you about even fixin a car and the issue u have with the car got a coolant leak they WILL banda de it with bars leak I have documentation from the actual dealer of said car that the engine needed to be replaced from so much bars leak clogging the motor and wreaking havoc.... never again will I send anyone there screw them read more

I just purchased an 08' Jeep Compass from Frank's. The process was amazingly easy!!! Literally I was in an out with signing my paperwork. Other places I have been to, I have sat for hours on end. Not at Frank's..if you have all of your stuff together (paperwork), the down payment...you're good to go. Not to mention the price you see on their website was the ACTUAL price I paid for a down payment. I didn't get there and they say well, its 800 but you have to pay 500 more. Nope it was cut throat to the point, I loved it. The car itself is clean and in great shape. Plus with the snow we just had today, it was wonderful in it.! I would def recommend them to anybody who questions me. read more

Not even worth 1 star! This was my last resort as I needed a car asap; same day I got home check engine light came on; 2 weeks later battery died; the "owner" was rude very very unprofessional not apologetic about anything was being a real unconcerned person when I expressed how inconvenient this experience has been with them and I am losing time at work to bring a car they claimed was inspected back and forth to them within a 2 week time period. I WILL NOT recommend anyone to go here; if you have bad credit I really suggest just saving up atleast $3000.00 and go to another pay here buy here place. My husband and I bought a vehicle from this place leas than a month ago. It has already been in for repairs at least four times. Last Monday, I called for an appointment to get it fixed the next day, (for the same problem it had before). On Tuesday, they told me our appointment was really for Wednesday. Then they said e needed a part and could come in Thursday, if the part was in. On Thursday, they said the part wasn't in, then they sad the part was in but they didn't have time to see us until the following Tuesday (one week after the original appointment). Plus they treated me in a condescending manner. I would never deal with place again. read more

So I buy a 04 Honda civic from this place....with 121000 miles on it....I put 20000 miles on the car and the timing belt snapped as my wife and 8 month old was in the car....the car completely shut down and stopped in the middle of a busy road....she had to stay in that position until a tow truck came....I called corporate Honda and they told me that at 110000 miles that the timing needs to be done...so they sold me a ticking time bomb....Honda also stated that they should of never sold the vehicle to me....If they had told me I would of chosen another car....Frank's is now giving me the run around...I've talked to the manager mark and the lead sales rep mike....and they are not going to fix what they didn't do in the first place....After this I am calling the department of consumer protection and my lawyer...If they do not come up with a reasonable solution...I will ensure loss of business, by expressing to all family and friends, how unprofessional they have been.
