These are the pro's. Franks is a deli inside a small market. There is parking. If it's full, just do a trip around the block and a spot will likely be open by the time you get back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's poppin at lunch time with people going in and out to pick up lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm one of those people, I'm in and out for lunch takeout. Ive tried the wraps, including the chicken Caesar. It's got crunchy goodness on the outside. I've had their half sandwich and soup with a blt and ham/bean soup. The soup was under seasoned for me, but no real complaints. Everything was awesome and their system runs like a machine. read more

Franks deli is obviously a detroit staple but to me it's more than that. what always brings the girls in is a crispy diet / zero soda, fresh crispy fries and none other the chicken caesar wrap. but i am not here to write about that. i am here, as a person who never orders Ruben sandwiches to urge you to eat from here. my stomach is sensitive and can weed out crappy ingredients right away. everything here is FRESH, flavorful, and over expectations. the service from the staff is excellent too, they make everyone feel like a local. read more

On the search for the best Rueben Sandwich in the Detroit area, so we had to check out Frank's. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is really nice... the deli looks huge and like they have a nice variety of products, but we didn't check it out too much as we just landed at DTW and were in need of lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is cozy and clean and the service was quick and friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Rueben was very good but, but not quite the best. Briny and juicy corned beef, pungent kraut and a nice dressing... I can't put my finger on what was missing... it was a very nice sandwich, but not the best I've had. Still... worth the trip! The chili fries were garden variety "Coney" type fries with a nice "Coney Sauce"; I added the mustard. No complaints! These hit the spot. Overall, a decent Rueben! My BFF, nieces and I, had lunch here after seeing the viral chicken Caesar wrap on a TikTok reel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very cool place with a little market attached to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the wrap and a side of chili cheese fries, my BFF had the wrap with fries, one of my nieces had a chicken wrap and fries and the other niece had breakfast. I wanted to love the Chicken Caesar wrap, but I think it's not quite for me! That being said, I totally see why others love it! It's definitely filling, without anything else, but I also got fries on the side (which were good, though better portion for sharing). The ingredients in the wrap were all tasty - I liked the Parmesan crust on the outside of the wrap. Very generous amount of chicken which I liked. Just overall I felt like it was really heavily Parmesan forward, without getting a lot of other flavor coming through. Also made it overall fairly salty. Next time I'm in, I definitely plan to try their corned beef instead! read more

Chicken Caesar Wrap lives up to the hype. Seated promptly right around noon at the counter. We had our orders taken after a couple minutes and food was out in less than 15 minutes which was a nice bonus. Now onto the star of the show; the chicken caesar wrap. My friend got it with grilled chicken and I got mine with crispy (just ask them to do it) and I ate half of each style. Starting with the classic grilled chicken, the chicken was plentiful, perfectly cooked, had nice flavor and was moist. The lettuce was fresh and the dressing was on point (that being said, it was a lot of dressing to the point where it was arguably a bit too much, but nothing was soggy so it was all good). The tortilla stole the show with the cheese crust which is now my favorite cheese delivery method when using a tortilla. The crispy chicken slightly edged out the grilled chicken because 1. Fried chicken is delicious and 2. The added texture was a welcome addition. Can't go wrong with either. I also got onion rings which were well battered and about what you'd expect. A little more of a crunch would've gone a long way on those. Go to Frank's. Order the chicken caesar wrap and you'll be happy within the first bite. read more

SO GOOD!! The other i went with said their meals were amazing too. Huge rave around the chicken ceaser wrap! the crunchy outside was a great touch. we went on a busy detroit lions weekend but got a table of 4 really quick (they only had to wipe it down and we were seated right away). Yes, the chicken Caesar wrap is as good as they say! Full of creamy Caesar and Parmesan flavor, a Parmesan crusted wrap and flavorful grilled chicken. I was nervous the lettuce would be soggy but it's fresh and adds a nice crunch. Phenomenal! It's not all about their chicken Caesar wrap though, franks has amazing sandwiches, salads and soup! Came here with my sister to try the caesar wrap we kept seeing online and it did not disappoint! I got grilled chicken and my sister subbed fried chicken in hers and said it was great! The grilled chicken was chopped perfectly and every bite was proportioned well! Definitely a place to stop in for a quick bite, they looked pretty busy for a thursday afternoon but the service was okay! We will definitely be back soon! read more

We've been meaning to try Frank's for a while but it was always slammed. We ended up going on a Saturday late afternoon (closer to the market closing) and we got a table right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is in the middle of the store, so you're surrounded by patrons of the store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the infamous chicken Caesar wrap and corned beef and Swiss egg rolls. The wrap was lackluster. I was pretty disappointed. The wrap itself was nice since they have the parm crusted on there, but the chicken was under seasoned, the dressing tasted like a store bought dressing, and there was WAY too much shredded Parmesan inside. I got pockets of pure Parmesan and it was just too much. HOWEVER, the corned beef and Swiss egg rolls were PHENOMENAL! The 4th star was solely because of the egg rolls. We would go back just for those. They came with a sweet and sour style sauce, and the pairing was really really good. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. I got ground-up chicken that look like ground hamburger. Skimpy cheese, 2 skimpy pieces of cucumbers. I had a bowel movement an hour later. I had to order a coke from Sonic on the way home to settle my stomach. The salad looked horrible. I paid $15 for this mess. January 2026, I ordered a corn beef sandwich, instead of sliced corn beef, I got a ground-up corn beef that looked like ground-up hamburger. I paid full price for this horrible stuff. I will never eat there again or spend my money on this garbage. They don't deserve that one star. This was take-out pick up. read more

How can something so basic like a "Chicken Caesar salad wrap" be so incredible? Well make the dressing sooo cheesy and add even more cheese on the outside of the wrap. When I tell you this is the BEST Chicken Caesar wrap I've ever had I am not lying. We read great articles about the corned beef. I was not impressed with the sandwich, it was steamed and put on grilled bread, my husband asked for ungrilled bread and the meat was between 2 older slices of bread, it is a good size sandwich but the meat was too loose. Was doing business in the area and wanted to eat before heading home. Drove by and saw they served Wigley's corned beef. So we gave it a try. Clean dining area. The service was fantastic. There was a special half sandwich and soup. I ordered the pastrami and Swiss on rye and corned beef and cabbage soup. The pastrami was sliced thin and very lean the cheese melted over toasted rye. Very flavorful. The soup was excellent probably the best cabbage soup I've ever had. The corned beef was lean the broth had excellent flavor the cabbage wasn't soggy. I was reccomended this place based on the hype around their Caesar wrap. I can say I've dined from this restaurant(takeout) about 8-9 times now. The food is pretty good. The crispy Caesar wrap is a standout, and the amount of Parmesan they add including crisped up onto the wrap via the grill adds a great flavor. Now, in the 8-9 times I've visited, atleast half of those visits resulted in my order somehow being screwed up. From getting grilled chicken instead of crispy to receiving the completely wrong sandwich, about half the time something is going to go wrong with your order and they'll have to remake it or it will be severely delayed. In one instance I had to wait an extra 20 minutes to finally get my food. This place is not expensive, but the food is not to priced modestly for a deli kind of vibe. For the price, having your order screwed up half the time is not acceptable. I really enjoy the wrap but the pace of the day dictates if I'm going to roll the dice on ordering from here or not. read more

If you're looking for a good carry out option during lunch then Frank's is a great option. I ordered the club sandwich with a side of mozzarella cheese sticks and everything was delicious. My order was prepared and ready in enough time for me to pick it up and still enjoy my lunch break. The club speaks for itself, it's meat packed and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The mozzarella cheese sticks were nice and hot and gave me the satisfying cheese pull that everyone loves. Definitely recommend this spot and maybe next time I will dine in! read more
