Found this cute little grm after a show at the Fisher Music Center off Woodward. Love that so much of what they sell is local and or made in-house. Sandwiches my friend and I ate were all varied and delicious. Definitely recommend and definitely will go back. Forgot what I ordered, it the photo says it all!

All than had everything on there menu and I must say everything is good , fresh authentic flavors is the difference nothing artificial this place is one of my favorite place to grab a salad or sandwich , a Italian pop or sparkling red wine, this place has all the elements for great lunch date, socializing vibe, or just eating clean, don't forget get to grab white chocolate macadamia cookies if they have some, everything is fresh baked and change at times, but if you love salad get the everything blue salad, it has almonds , pears , mixed greens , and pickle onions and I always add chicken cutlets on mine , great salad , service is spot on , very Quick and attentive to detail meaning they listen to your order and don't make to many mistakes it's definitely rare. Great summer time or anytime vibe especially when the sunshine and you out trying to catch a vibe

The service was stellar and the chop chop salad was truly a gem and lunch staple . The expresso martini looked really cute and my lunch buddy said she loved it .

Homemade, freshly cooked, smells like Sigonella, Italian deli that will make you want to travel to Italy. You cannot go wrong with the service either the fully equipped staff is cooking up the best Italian sandwiches in midtown. They have a set price but it's not steep. The meals are great too so come hungry and plan on drinking some wines too . Trust me I have been to Italy so come here get yourself a sandwich I recommend the Welcome to The Club . That is all. Chief If you learn to understand you will master humbleness. :=]] :)) :/)

Rocco's is a hidden gem in detroit! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious & very reasonably priced. I got the il rocco. It had amazing flavor! I also got a cannoli. They have a bunch of grocery store items. The employees were all knowledgeable and friendly. It's a must try in detroit!!!

This place is right near my apartment and it's great! It's a small deli in midtown with many different sandwhich options. There are also alcoholic beverages as well. The inside isn't too big and only some seating is available but it's great for carry out. The service is very fast and there is a tiny parking lot on the side of the building.

YUM! Detroit has so much to offer, and the area that Rocco's is in is such a vibrant cool place. This is an old fashioned deli with a Young person's vibe. The food is delicious, well-made, and fresh. You line up, order your food, pay for your food, step to the right get your food. Just like the old days. The person that the register explain the menu and what was the most popular, and of course what their suggestion would be. My friend and I tried both and we were not disappointed. Oh, did I tell you that they also sell bottled wine that you can uncork there, BONUS!

Best sandwich spot in Midtown! This is one of the go-to spots with my work team for pickup as they have amazing food and never mess up the orders. My two favorites are the II Rocco and the Mozz and Mozz (but add a chicken cutlet to that sandwich and it's even better!!)

Every single time I come to Rocco's, I have the absolute best time - it might be because my palette is satisfied, or the vibes feel right, or i can grab a nice bottle or wine and fresh Ricota. Rocco's is the perfect italian deli in Midtown and their counter resembles just that. I've had just about every sandwich and wowza! They are incredibly balanced and filling and every bite has that perfect combination. They make your sandwiches as you order so it might take some time but no longer than a 10 min wait. There's some parking off to the side and paid parking all over so make the trip!

Hard Proof Prosciutto Means Love Sandwich

I tried Rocco's while on the go on a road trip, while passing through Detroit. Wanted something quick and easy and saw the Yelp reviews for Rocco's. I'm always skeptical of highly rated places, but after my visit to Rocco's, I can see why. I was there on a Thursday afternoon, it was quite busy with takeout orders and a few diners inside and outside on their patio. The place itself is cute, they offer a selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, and more. They have a deli section and also have a good selection of wine. But I was here for the sandwich. Was torn between the meatball and the Prosciutto Love sandwich and ultimately went with the Prosciutto. The sandwich had this nice crispy bread, the sandwich had prosciutto, mozzarella, yummy pesto, and seasoned tomatoes. Just to give an idea, the sandwiches are quite filling, at least in my experience. I hadn't eaten all day and had a half of the sandwich and some pasta salad. The pasta salad was not a typical Italian salad that you find most places. This one was more flavorful and creative and I wish I had grabbed another for the road. I ended up only eating half the sandwich, it was really filling and saving the other half for later - which was still good when I ate it later. Incredibly flavorful. Rocco's is a must try when you're in this area, you won't be disappointed!

Great Italian deli within an easy walk of Wayne State U. Highly recommend the signature sandwich. Bread fresh and firm. Good quality deli meats and cheese. Great place to grab wine and other beverages on your way home or to dinner with friends. Plenty of staff the Saturday afternoon we were there for lunch.

You'll want reservations because it fills up quick. We were promptly seated and greeted my our waitress, Mary. She was very attentive and knows the menu. She explained every dish and made excellent recommendations. We all started out with an Aperol Spritz, because what says Italy more than a spritz!?! We ordered a few appetizers, artichoke, squash and asparagus. The squash was unique. It had pickled summer squash, a vegetable that I never considered pickling. Simply delicious. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and the sauce really enhanced it. Great side dish. I did not try the artichoke, but my wife and daughter both said they were amazing. For mains, I ordered the Aragosta fra Diavolo, my wife the Cappelletti and my daughters the Carbonara. All were delicious. The fra diavolo had a nice light kick of heat and loaded with lobster tail. Excellent dish. I highly recommend Shewolf. It's a phenomenal restaurant that takes pride in their food, service and the whole experience.

For the price of the weinerschnitzel, I would think they could give some carb or veggie on the side. Yes it's a good sized portion, but the presentation looked a little sad. Lots of cocktail options, but I just went with the classic aperol spritz and it was perfect. I definitely will come again on special occasions!

My first impression: Noisy! Lots of hard surfaces. Difficult to hear the hostess, server and my wife. The tables were appropriately spaced for diners and servers to work with no bump & grind. We started by sharing a dozen oysters and the pear/walnuts salad. The oysters were a bit small-ish; but otherwise, excellent. Server took a drink order from my wife, but skipped me. Eh? I flagged down another server to order a Pino. It took a surprisingly long time to arrive. On the plus side, I was offered a taste to insure it was satisfactory - it was. The pear salad w/walnuts was excellent. The pears were sliced paper-thin. One of the joys of eating a properly ripened pear is the juicy explosion and thinly sliced pears defeat the juicy explosion. If the pears were fully ripe, perhaps cube them? Weirdly; the two sides (mushrooms, potatoes) were served before the entrees. The server noticed, seemed surprised and withdrew the sides, returning with our entrees (lamb shoulder, steak). Then the side returned. Both entrees were warm-ish and the sides were hot. The 14-day, dry-aged steak was ordered medium-rare and was seasoned and prepared as ordered. Again; warm-ish, not hot. I expected better beefy flavor for a dry-aged steak. One end was a bit chewy. Tenderness improved as I got to the other end of the steak. I ordered it with horseradish. I will admit to being a weirdo who loves spicy horseradish (and wasabi) that will clean the sinuses - this was "Ohio-spice'd" horseradish ... not creamy, but less spicy than Arby's Horsey sauce. The mushroom and the potato sides were served hot from the kitchen. Both were excellent, no complaints. The presentation of the steak needs improvement. It was a properly prepared, lonely lump of brown, served on a white plate with cracked ceramic glaze. The lamb shoulder was the better entree. For some reason, my wife was expecting Middle Eastern seasoning. The menu did not mention Middle Eastern seasoning and she did not ask, so that's on her, not the kitchen. I thought it was excellent. Gripe: After the entrees arrived, our server did not return to ask if the entrees were satisfactory. She did return later to ask if we wanted a second round of drinks. We did ... We were offered dessert and ordered, but never asked if we wanted coffee or an after dinner drink. Both desserts were excellent. Will we return? Probably ... not. With tip; dinner for two was $286. At this price point I expect better: Less noise, better beef and flawless service.
