Based on the other reviews I'm willing to give them another shot, but my first impression was not at all good. Perhaps it was because of the time of day (we wanted a mid-afternoon snack) but the coffee tasted burnt, and the creme in my Boston creme was a bit off. I have only had Frank's Donuts at work when my co-worker's grab a dozen. I have always been extremely satisfied. The best item they have is the Blueberry cake donut, SOOO GUUD!!!! One of these days I will stop in an grab my own dozen. :) read more

It's true the donuts are delicious. But the service is definitely lacking lately! I utilized their drive through about two weeks ago at the Winchester Frank Donuts. I was given the wrong donuts, I asked for two maple glazed and two chocolate glazed, I had the receipt and it showed they gave me the wrong donuts, plain instead of chocolate glazed. The female with the long hair did correct it; but with an attitude. O.k. I figured she was just having a bad day. Then I go through the drive through today and again they screwed up my order, same female employee. This time their was no receipt. So drove around again to let them know the order was wrong. The same female said, "We can't help you, you have done this before!" I was shocked by their treatment. It clearly shows they have an operation problem with their drive through personnel and do not want to address it. I requested to speak to the manager. He came to the service window appearing upset and said, "You have done this to us three times before!" I explained this has only happened to me once before and I had my receipt, i kept my cool. I told the manager, all I am saying is I wanted two chocolate glazed not plain, you always get my maple glazed donuts order correct, but never the chocolate glazed. He asked for the bag of donuts and then he snatched them from my hands, slamming the service window. He came back to the service window with the bag and took out the plain donuts, the female employee walked up with two chocolate glazed donuts in a bag and he took the bag from the female. He threw the bags at me through my open window of my vehicle, slamming the service window; no explanation for the mix up or apology. I was so shocked and appalled by his treatment of customers, especially accusing me I have done this so many times before. So I tried to call the owner at Franks Donuts in Georgetown, Kentucky to complain about the treatment I received not only once but twice and at the Winchester location, Frank Donuts II. They said the owner was out of town but they would take my contact information. I have been a loyal customer to Franks Donuts II in Winchester, buying numerous donuts and dozens for my coworkers ect, in the past. This treatment I received was unacceptable. Well unless I go to Georgetown Franks Donuts, Krispy Kreme will have to be my alternate and it will be worth the drive to avoid such lousy treatment of customers from FRANK'S DONUTS II in WINCHESTER, KY. read more
