Francisco and crew are completely amazing. He was the first to respond to my request and arrived as promised. I asked him to look at some things beyond my original request and he gave me some recommendations about how I could maximize my irrigation and save water. He and his crew showed up the next day and completed the work as promised. Unfortunately my dreams are bigger than my budget so the rest of the recommendations will have to wait until next month. Bottom line...I'm a single woman who has been taken advantage of by many "handymen". Francisco listened to my thoughts and concerns and guided me in the right direction. I know nothing about irrigation and don't really care to...I just need it to water my plants, not waste water and most importantly not blow up like it did after the "handyman" did the repair. I'm quickly learning to hire the people skilled in the trade, it might cost a little more up front but they do it everyday and paying for that experience will save in the long run. I just paid for this same repair a year ago that was half a$$ but I'm confident it's done right now and if something happens Francisco will make it right! Like last time, Frank and his crew did an outstanding job. I have 9 Redwood trees and 2 large Sycamores on my 1 acre property, and they drop a lot of leaves and debris. I also have a row of Oleander trees (20' tall bushes) that were hanging over my lawn. Frank's crew trimmed the Oleanders and raked and used leaf blowers to get rid of the leaves and debris. 5 guys working from 8 am to 4 pm. They filled this huge trailer with debris. Service Requested. Needed to repair a sprinkler that was leaking. Quality. He came over to assess the problem and provided an estimate of what the work would cost and entail. Although the bid was not in writing, I felt comfortable with working with him. He came over the next day, found the source of the leak and replaced the damaged pipes. The work took less than one hour to complete. Value. He performed the work and did not change the estimate or assess any hidden or last minute costs. He prefers to be paid in cash or check. I found Frank's Landscaping on Yelp and noticed he had excellent reviews. I contacted him and he responded quickly. I explained the situation of my drip lines being chewed up by the local wildlife, causing me to have to turn off the automatic watering leading to my trees and plants dying. (Manual watering was not working well.) Francisco scheduled a visit, arrived the next morning, and quickly patched the holes. He also checked all the other lines on his own and provided advice on watering, (drip lines had not been effectively placed by prior professionals). I then asked for a quote on refreshing the mulch throughout the yard. He quickly estimated the yard size and provided a fair quote. His team was able to do the work right away and finished with a spotless cleanup without my even asking! I cannot fully express how refreshing it was to work with such a nice, friendly business owner who communicates well and does what he says he will do. I'm usually hesitant to write a review right after a service because I've had many experiences where businesses disappear once they get paid, especially if there's any remaining or poorly done work. Unfortunately, this is exactly one of those cases. I contacted Francisco a few weeks ago to come back and check the same area where a leak had reappeared. He promised twice that he would stop by and even asked me to turn off the sprinklers in the middle of a heat wave -- but never showed up. After that, he completely ghosted me. I paid $600 in cash to fix a leak that is still an issue.
