We have been coming to Franks weekly for several months. Dunia (sp?) is an absolute sweetheart, attentive, and knows how to provide excellent service. Sadly the last couple of weeks, schedules have changed and Dunia is no longer there during our visits. And while the usual people are also not behind the counter, those that are have been courteous, fun, and make sure to check in and make sure all is good. Service is meek, and the place itself is not well kept. Seats and floors with food and napkins leftover from prior guests and after sitting for 10min or longer, decided to place our "for here" order at the counter. Caesar salad with shaved parmesan cheese was really good. We got to try beef empanada, charbroiled burger with fries, and cheese pizza. Veg pan pizza was good. We also tried Zeppole, which is fried dough sprinkled with powdered sugar. Frank's is a nice restaurant and clean. read more

Franks used to be a favorite of ours until recently. We noticed a decline in food quality. We finally stopped going when we ordered a lasagna for take out, we were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. When we went to pick it up they instead handed us a large serving tray of salad (covered as if trying to pass it off as a lasagna) and charged us for the lasagna. After the transaction we realized it was a salad and not in fact a lasagna. The employee behind the counter said "we can't make a lasagna right now" didn't refund us, didn't offer a solution. The manager was not helpful at all. We had a house full of visitors and only a large salad to serve them. We haven't been back since, after years of going there weekly. read more

Visiting Northhampton Community College for a talk, a friend and I found Frank's Pizza. I was shocked at how awesome it was. From the attentive staff to the selection on the menu, the experience was fantastic. I got a wrap unwrapped. It was amazing. The price is amazing too! For less than $8.00 I had an amazing dinner which left me looking for nothing more through the night. The pizzas that were available by the slice looked awesome and the menu included gluten free options as well. If you are looking for a great pizza, this is the place to go but nothing beyond that. I visited on 4/16/2022 at around 8:00 PM and the service I received from both of the men at the counter was horrible. The way they spoke to me and other customers was as if they were bothered to be working; very rude and repugnant. I ordered 20 garlic parm wings and asked for them to be well done. These were probably the worst wings I have ever tasted in my life. To begin, the wings were breaded like a piece of chicken for chicken parm, they then drenched the wings in this horrible tasting sauce which caused the wings to become soggy. After completing my shopping for the week and as iwas sitting in the truck about ready to head back to the terminal, i noticed the open sign for Franks Pizza Restaurant and decided togo for lunch. I ordered a small (personal) white pizza and calamari marinara. I was told wait 15 minutes so i watched a 8 minute youtube video to kill the time. After my video was over, i noticed the waiter bringing my food to the window. THE EXPERIENCE Before I even tyrned to return to the truck, my nasal passages became attuned to the most perfect hint of fresh mozzarella, garlic, olive oil and fresh dough i have ever smelled. I actually hurried back to the truck just to gaze upon what must be the 8th wonder of the world. I opened the pizza box and saw the most beautiful pizza i have ever seen. I took a piece in my fingers, taking my time appreciating my doughy mistress, noting all its wonderfull traits. The crust was fresh, light and crispy, yet still springy. I could fold the slice and it had enough structure to fold without cracking, yet also still fluffy and desirable. The cheese and garlic cooked to perfection. The ricotta was high quality, moist yet not making the pizza soggy. I took my first bite. The only way to describe it as a tear developed in my eye was pure ecstasy. My taste buds were exploding with each bite, and as sooner i had just taken my first bite, the pizza was gone. What happened? I had never experienced such glory if culinary properties before that my senses were overwhelmed from first bite, i actually lost my sense of time and ate the entire pie. It was worth every bite and more. Extremely affordable too. After eating the pizza, the only thought that came to mind was to thank the chef and waiter for such a phenomenal creation. The calamari was delicious too. Sauteed in fresh marinara sauce unlike no other. Not to sweet, not too tart, perfection. It didnt last longer than 5 minutes until it was in my belly. Overall Franks Pizza Restaurant is the greatest place to eat in the area for a pie like no other. On my way back to the terminal, i lost my sense of direction temporarily as i was in such a euphoric state. I had almost began dialing the pizza joint i had called in the past to ask them "What is wrong with you? Dont you even understand the concept of pizza?" When i arrived at my terminal and prepared to go to work. I would recommend Franks above all pizza restaurants in the area. Eat there, its worth every bite read more

I love the recipes at Franks. Not all of the Franks prepare the food the proper way though. So for some reason I usually only go to one of the Franks and never tried this one. I started trying this one and it's really good! Everything is always so hot and fresh and cooked really well. Service is great too. I mostly tried the pizza here and it was really good. I love eating it there because it's a little crispy hot and fresh! Recently popped in on a Wednesday I really wanted chicken noodle soup. They had a chicken special on wednesdays for $11.99 any chicken dish with salad m, garlic bread, coffee and dessert. They let me get chicken soup instead of the salad and it was fantastic. Not my favorite Italian restaurant. In fact, I'll never go back. I called in an order for pick-up. Very simple, 2 Hoggies. The guy on the phone even repeated it back to me. They made both wrong. One was a cheese steak with everything on it. They made it a chicken cheese steak and put extra toppings in it and charged me a separate up charge for each item. I called them up and asked if they would give me credit to use the next time I went there. The manager told me he would only remake my order and wanted me to come back to pick them up. I didn't want to drive all the way back so again asked for credit. He refused. Finally got back to Frank's after a long layoff for dinner this past Saturday. Entrees of Tortellini Alfredo and Tortellini with red sauce, I hate Alfredo so sue me, were both solid and served up hot and fast. Garlic bread with some extra large pieces of garlic also was a winner. The only slip up was the pasta fagioli soup. It was lacking in the pasta department and really was nothing more than red broth with some tomato pieces throw in. The service while not exactly personable was fast and efficient. The waitress was AMAZING so sweet so helpful she is constantly checking up on us which is always great, the food servings is AMAZING the pricing is great with the amount of food you get. I was in the area visiting family when we stopped here for dinner. The hostess seated us right away and gave us menus. There are so many options. I was overwhelmed looking at how big the menu was. They have pizzas, chicken dishes, salads, pasta dishes, burgers, wraps, paninis, strombolis, calzones, and desserts. I've never seen burgers being an option on the menu at an italian restaurant before! Not to mention they have at least ten options of each type of food. The menu was insane. I was in between a greek salad, wrap, or a stromboli. I decided to go with the New York wrap, which had roasted chicken, roasted peppers, and fresh mozzarella served with fries. The wrap was delicious. The chicken was marinated to perfection and very well seasoned. The fresh mozzarella was gooey and tastey, and the roasted peppers were good and cooked well. The wrap was a pretty big portion. I guess it's true what they say, big menu=big food portions. The staff was pretty accommodating and service was relatively quick and efficient. Ordered mozzarella sticks (I was informed they were great), garlic knots (excellent!) and a large pie well done. The pie brought me back to pre-1965 Manhattan when pizza was an art. Thin yet sturdy crisp crust. Exquisite Sicilian style sauce (possibly canned but doctored so as to be house-made). Generous amount of low moisture mozzarella in proper proportion. So delicious!
