Ugh. I wanted to like it! I always order from the same pizza place but wanted to give Armando's a try. The order came on time, which is good. However, it was not even close to being warm, had close to ZERO sauce and absolutely no flavor at all. NONE. As though no spicing was involved. No garlic, NOTHING. As bland as unbuttered toast. Everything is really good at this place with the cheesesteaks are the bomb. Philadelphia has nothing on this place. Quite possibly the best in the Lehigh Valley!!! Know no matter what you try there it's gonna be really good. One of my favorites is the linguine white clam sauce., definitely a fave. Just went to Armando's to find out why my brother in law will only eat soups from there. I ended up ordering his clam chowder and a cream of shrimp for myself along with a pizza roll. The shrimp soup has got to be the best soup I've ever had. Hot and fresh and delicious. The pizza roll was amazing. The service was great and friendly. Would highly recommend this spot. I'll definitely be back soon. I see old bad reviews. They must have made big changes because I really did have a great experience with this restaurant. read more

Armando's is okay, but lately they have really been slacking. So today we had chicken tenders and fries, hot wings, shrimp parmigiana, cheesesteak. I'm going to talk about the pizza I had the other night that I should have sent back to the store. So let's start with today, chicken fingers not bad but they are kind of hard to mess up, hot wings looked good, but unfortunately they were mushy, the shrimp parmigiana actually had a lot of shrimp and was okay but could have used a little more salt and pepper, let's move on the this nasty cheese steak, it was huge and filled, but filled with mushrooms!!!! There was barely any meat, the picture shows a bunch of crap, but it was all mushrooms!!! It had no flavor and again missed the most important part of a non vegan cheesesteak THE MEAT!!!! Now the Pizza I had the day before I took off Slices to put in everyone's plate and everything fell off the pizza, it was mushy and absolutely horrible I had to throw the pizza out and no one ate their slice!!!! I always ask for well done to avoid this, but apparently they didn't hear me. I'm not completely giving up on armando's but they need to step their game up!!! read more

Management needs to take a course in customer service. After being a customer for the last 6 years this place has drastically gone downhill. The orders are never right. On 8/12 I ordered a single cheese pizza and Sprite. The delivery went great and lasted all of 30 seconds. Approximately one minute after the delivery driver left I received a call from Armando's and was accused by the employee of being rude to the driver. After explaining my order and that he just left and this was not the case, I was put on hold. When the employee returned she continued to state that my number was on the order that was rude to the driver, which contained a chicken parm which clearly was not my order. She stated the order was called in by a woman with my number on the caller ID. I tried explaining that I placed my order from Grubhub and never called in the order or the restaurant. The driver was very pleasantZ She continued in a very harsh tone to explain how my number was on the order which escalated to us both arguing as I could not get across that this was not me who did this. I am very upset with the customer service I experienced and being accused for something I did not do. My family orders from here several times a month and love the pizza, but after this experience I will never be a customer again. read more

Ordered delivery from here just now because it's Friday and I don't feel like cooking. Anyway, I ordered a small white pizza w/ pepperoni and a Mediterranean chicken sandwich. Bangin'. Pizza was hot, crust was crunchy, cheese was delicious. And the sandwich? Mm. Fresh mozzarella as stated, chicken seasoned well, warm toasty and fresh bread, and the balsamic vinegarette gave it just the right zest of flavor. Delivery took an hour for a small pizza and chicken sandwich but it did come earlier than the ETA and I had nothing to do anyway while waiting, all good with me. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend who lives near Armando's (I live in another state) with some desserts delivered to his house. I ordered online (I suggest using GrubHub, not the other platform they use.) and asked if they could please include a note saying "Thanks for being so sweet!". About 3 minutes after I placed the order, I called Armando's to make sure that my instructions were understood and there was no miscommunication as I wanted this to be a nice surprise. The woman on the phone was super sweet and totally got what I was going for. I got him zeppoles, cinnamon bites, cheesecake and carrot cake. I had put my number as the contact number and the delivery man had some trouble finding the house (its difficult to find) so I directed him the best I could seeing as I don't know the area super well myself. He was super patient with me on the phone and totally went along with my very surprised boyfriend when he got the desserts. Which he said, by the way, were AMAZING! The delivery guy was very polite, and everything I ordered was exactly how I hoped it would be -- delicious!!! I wanted 0 stars, I've ordered several times from Armando's, but I will never order from here again. The Owner/Female is mouthy with an attitude. I ordered Cheese Steak Wrap with fries..... Wrap awesome... Fries so, so. I ordered Honey Bbq wings that are mild...... The previous time it was hot!!! Im trying to tell the person, I don't like hot/Spicy wings. I've been eating at Armandos for a minute now. Probably was one of my favorite places to get great stromboli. But after yesterday I'll be taking a little break from there. Basically. I order Armandos from a postmates app yesterday. Not knowing that postmates was not allowed to do delivery for them. Now I'm already postmates case for that nonsense but the issue I had was with the little jerk that answered my call with the most attitude ever! I was told nastily that postmates was listing them illegally, and shouldn't have taken the order. Fair enough what's wrong is wrong. But I did not know that. Don't yell at me. So she then continues on with. We're not filling that order I don't know what you want me to do about it, so yeah and then dead silence. Like what the hell! Look I get postmates effed up. But I was still willing to get my food from Armandos until she decided to take out her teenage aggression on me. Needless to say we won't be eating here for some time. The food is good. But I like to be treated like a person not some common criminal over some thing that was outta my control. read more

Very pleased with the fries as well the cut is perfect and the taste is on point. cheese fries highly recommended even the onion rings are crisp to perfection and very tasty.
