This restaurant is a total throwback. U need to know that this is not a fine dining spot at all - it is a casual small cozy retro restaurant with a few tables/booths and some damn good pizza. If that's cool with you, then proceed. We've eaten here a few times and have only tried their pizza and fries. I wanted to try something else, but can't - that thin crust gets me every time. We are two pizza lovers, and each time managed to almost put away an extra large thin crust with two toppings. Also had a large order of fries. No appetizers. The crust is nice and crispy, toppings fresh and the sauce is perfect - not too sweet, which I prefer. Service is very casual. Staff is very nice and down to earth, always make us feel at home. I wish this place was closer to us - I'd order from there all the time - especially since they have a couple of good take out specials! So disappointed with this new place Saw they have some good reviews so I thought let me give it a try. Didn't think I was going to be BAMBOOOOZLED. I ordered two fried calamari's and received only one and that was a full portion for the one which I think I paid too much for also ordered some wings that were somehow undercooked and over cooked at the same time thanks for that because that made my mom sick eating that. I would however recommend if you wanted to get some chew toys for your dogs definitely buy the food from here. We have lived two blocks from Frank's for over three years and I am ashamed to say that today was our first time ordering. Let me start by saying that we are bit of pizza snobs since we ran a family pizzeria for a few years. We never enjoy pizza as much as the pizza we used to make. However, we tried Frank's thin crust tonight and we are finally pleasantly surprised by a local pizzeria! It was really really good! I used to come here with my grandmother when I was a kid. I came back yesterday and was very glad to see that it has hardly changed. The atmosphere is very old school but it does not look run down by any means. They were also very accommodating and friendly. The pizza is not cheap but it was worth the money. Okay, I guess I have to finally admit that I am a bit of a food snob. When the husband suggested eating here, I was less than pleased. We walked in and I was still unimpressed. But, I am willing to give almost anything a shot and I will readily admit that often "divey" places have really good food. Now - keep in mind that we did not order the pizza, so I cannot comment on that. Service was excellent - the young woman told us all about weekly specials and their delivery range and brought him more bread and butter right away. Husband ordered cheese fries to start and that was pretty standard cheese goo from a can or tub, but the fries that I snuck (no cheese goo) were actually quite fresh and crisp. He then had the meat ravioli on special with a house salad with blue cheese dressing. I got the fried perch with baked potato. We also had a few small loaves of bread at the table. The bread was excellent - fresh and hot. The perch was pretty standard frozen stuff and the baked potato was a bit overcooked, but certainly edible. The husband thought the ravioli was also from frozen and the sauce too "oiniony" and he didn't like the garlic bread - which was just like every char broiled offering from my days in Addison. I ended up liking the place more than I thought I would when I saw the napkin "doily" on the table and was handed a take-out menu as the menu at the table. He didn't really enjoy his food other than the fries, but would like to try the pizza. I will push for delivery rather than sit here. I have to laugh at the reviewer who thinks this place is "romantic". I read that in the restaurant and could not stop laughing. That person needs higher standards or a better idea of romance. I'm thinking they also think Olive Garden is "fancy" and Outback is a real "steakhouse". This is a dive -there was tape to match the pleather seats on the wall for Christ's sake! read more

Great pizza in my opinion. It seems to be a small family ran establishment. The staff and delivery drivers are friendly and accommodating. Delivery is quick and the food was hot. I only have 2 suggestions: 1. Poke holes in the cartons so food wont get soggy like fries and fried zucchini. They will if you request tho. 2. I was nice enough to wait around for them to make me a pizza and was told "15 minutes".
