Just tried here for the first time and ordered a basic pizza for pick up. The small pizza was around $22. In a small rural town, I would say this pizza is fine, in Chicago or really any mid-size metro there is no other way to describe this pizza as anything other than mediocre, especially given its price and proximity to much, much, better pizza places. From what I can tell, they are using the pre-made crusts you can buy from distributors (you can see the uniform little pinholes that are placed on these crusts when being manufactured), the sauce and mozzarella tastes similar to the kinds hospital/school cafeterias serve so I assume they also use the same generic food distributor product for these as well (Sysco, GFS or similar). Again in a rural area where this might be your only options for the affordable sourcing of sauce and cheese I could understand. But in this area (historically Italian and extremely close to a dense authentic Italian population on Harlem), there's little excuse to not be able to source affordable high quality, fresh, ingredients. Ambiance seemed nice in there, clean and bright. A bit lacking in personality or distinct style, but fine enough for eating with friends/family. Service was a bit on the cold side, but not bad - they seemed nice enough and we're just trying to get through the shift. For an "Italian" restaurant this spot was very disappointing and comes across as lazy/low effort. It's not unclean or uncomfortable but too expensive for cafeteria pizza. Can't really recommend over other nearby offerings. read more

Lady with glasses at front attended me nicely she even said that she'll throw my slice in the oven to make sure it's fresh without me asking and she scooped me 2 fresh Italians ices and service was good treated very well and food was tasty and hot would come again nd would recommend you try as well! read more

I really like this place, we order from here once or twice a week, but Friday my experience was disappointing. I placed an order for delivery, and they deliver the wrong wings. When I called to let them know, the person who took the order accepted that she made the mistake . They asked to hold while she spoke to the manager, I can hear the manager telling her out loud and very nasty, if we wanted a refund or credit that we must bring the wings back, the manager acted like it was my fault and didn't want to take responsibility for their mistake. I just wanted a credit for next time. I paid for delivery and wasn't going to restaurant for their mistake. Everyone makes errors sometimes, but it's how a business handles them that matters. Unfortunately, there was no accountability or customer service here. I won't be ordering again there are plenty of other pizza spots that actually care about getting it right and treating their customers respectfully. read more

Ordered a cheese pizza with sausage and half green olive. The pizza wasn't fully cooked. The crust was half raw dough. I think the dough wasn't fully ready for cooking. The toppings were very sparse, half green olive and I think they used actually half of an olive. The sauce had no flavor. Not fresh tomato, not seasoned tomato, no flavor at all. I tried Di Nico's Pizza out before work Saturday. No line no wait. There was seating on the side of the building. The inside was pretty big ,clean and well lit. The cashier looked less than pleased to have a customer. There was a pizza in the glass case so I went with that. The slice was huge. The price was $7 and nothing came with it. That's fine but the taste was pretty much mediocre at best and the personality from the cashier was less than welcoming. read more

I had a slice of pizza for lunch the other day and boy, this slice was large. It was bigger than I expected. I had the slice that had the variety of toppings. I love the combination of ingredients that it had with mushrooms and all. I forgot what it came with. I would say the crust is super thick for a normal size pizza crust. The crust took two thirds of the height of the pizza. Very fair priced for what I got. The pizza was rasty. I persona;lay like a more crispy crust although that's my own problem. I walked to the location since I was having my car being fixed nearby. Those cross section of the street are slightly dangerous since traffic is fast. The location is probably a place that you would miss since the street is so fast. I would visit it again. I wish they would have more business since it's a pleasant and clean place to eat. There is a section where you can relax after you eat your food to stay around for 15 minutes or so. read more

Well this is my first time coming over here for Christmas Day since I had Filipino food yesterday for Christmas Eve. Hey neighbor who lives next door mentioned about this place that was open and decided to give it a try as a bucket list. The ambience is pretty casual nothing too fancy or bougie. At the same time the place is not dirty where it being a new restaurant which used to be a Chinese restaurant called the triple crown growing up in this neighborhood. Service so far seem to be a amiable and attentive since I didn't order pizza but I did order their pasta dishes which is a mostaccioli bait with two meatballs and strangely as a side I ordered nachos which is more Mexican than Italian-American. A can fountain drink and one of their famous fried those which is like a cinnamon bread. They had a dress that was going to take 20 to 30 minutes to make. Well after tasting experiencing the mostaccioli with baked cheese and meatballs it was decently okay. You sure got a lot for 10 plus dollars. The famous fried dough was also delicious however the nachos I ordered was so so meh ok. I say this because they give you a lot of nachos but the cheese that they gave you is very little and the nachos have no exciting aftertaste despite being full of sodium. This place kind of reminds me of Sbarro's even though it's not at the mall. My neighbor who works here as a delivery driver mentioned about this place and I will probably come again for the pizza because I discovered they had more than just pizza especially Mexican nachos which is not that great. 3 stars mostacholi was decent with the meatballs and they're famous fried dough was actually pretty delicious despite eating a lot of carbs but the nachos I made a mistake thinking I would get a lot of cheese with the nachos read more

I had wanted to try this place for a long time, but its awkward location just never made me want to figure out how to get in and out of the lot. This past week we took a chance and it was not worth it. While you get two huge slices to an order, they are gross. Like, high school cafeteria cardboard, congealed kind of quality. Everything seems kind of bland and I was ill that evening, so I wonder how long the sausage had been laying around. On July 26th of this year, I placed an online order for a 1/2 supreme pizza and a 1/2 cheese pizza for pick up from the Chicago location. I've had great service in the past, so I didn't think I needed to check the pizza at pick up. To my dismay, I received a full cheese pizza rather than 1/2 supreme and 1/2 cheese. I unfortunately, was charged for a 1/2 supreme and 1/2 cheese. I've had great service and food for many years so this transaction was super disappointing and have not been since. I, for some reason, could not message the Chicago location so I ended up messaged the Berwyn location but was left on read. I didn't notice that I was left on read until 2 months since the transaction. I then posted the review to their FB page in hopes of getting someones attention. Screenshots of interaction provided which validated further that this business is not worthy of my patronage. I got a cheese pizza slice for my daughter and some hot bbq wings for myself. The pizza was average and fine but the wings came out unbreaded. That alone is a red flag, it wasn't seasoned. They were dry and the skin was gross. I've had unbreaded wings before and these were gross. I asked the cashier if they sell breaded also after they came out w the unbreaded and he said no. So I threw MY ENTIRE plate of wings out. I told him if they don't know how to make unbreaded right then don't serve them to ppl. And the cashier went to the back and told the cooks and it sounded like they were laughing and making fun of my experience. Worst $25 ever spent. And only my small child had some pizza. Cheese was okay, but kind of bland. NO seasoning on pizza at all. Where is the oregano, basil, garlic, etc? I mean even after I dumped half a shaker of spices on the slice (which is ridiculously large, 1/4 of a pie cut into two slices & way too much) it still had no flavor. All this pizza did was fill my stomach 'cause it sure as hell didn't have any flavor. I ate most of one half a "slice" and tossed most of the crust, followed by eating the cheese off the other slice. So basically I paid $6.00 for melted motz. In a neighborhood and city with a million great places for 'za, this is one place I won't go back. Gotta say, this will be the "white castle" of pizza. Meaning, you only go there when you are drunk & every other place is closed. No one who is sober would be there. If you are a pizza place, make a decent pie. However, what was even worse was watching their two cooks wear their masks below their noses, to the point you can see their mouths, and neither of them were wearing gloves while handling food. The absolute worst part was watching the Hispanic cook reach into his pocket to look at his phone, put it away, and then immediately pick up the pizza dough to roll it out. The pizza slices are huge and they're not bad. I just wish the pizza was hot. It was rather room temp. They may need hotter bulbs or to warm the pizza before serving. My daughters enjoyed it though. My corned beef panini on the other hand was not good. It was just a cold sandwich with some grilled marks on the bread.
