I tried Di Nico's Pizza out before work Saturday. No line no wait. There was seating on the side of the building. The inside was pretty big ,clean and well lit. The cashier looked less than pleased to have a customer. There was a pizza in the glass case so I went with that. The slice was huge. The price was $7 and nothing came with it. That's fine but the taste was pretty much mediocre at best and the personality from the cashier was less than welcoming.

I had a slice of pizza for lunch the other day and boy, this slice was large. It was bigger than I expected. I had the slice that had the variety of toppings. I love the combination of ingredients that it had with mushrooms and all. I forgot what it came with. I would say the crust is super thick for a normal size pizza crust. The crust took two thirds of the height of the pizza. Very fair priced for what I got. The pizza was rasty. I persona;lay like a more crispy crust although that's my own problem. I walked to the location since I was having my car being fixed nearby. Those cross section of the street are slightly dangerous since traffic is fast. The location is probably a place that you would miss since the street is so fast. I would visit it again. I wish they would have more business since it's a pleasant and clean place to eat. There is a section where you can relax after you eat your food to stay around for 15 minutes or so.

Well this is my first time coming over here for Christmas Day since I had Filipino food yesterday for Christmas Eve. Hey neighbor who lives next door mentioned about this place that was open and decided to give it a try as a bucket list. The ambience is pretty casual nothing too fancy or bougie. At the same time the place is not dirty where it being a new restaurant which used to be a Chinese restaurant called the triple crown growing up in this neighborhood. Service so far seem to be a amiable and attentive since I didn't order pizza but I did order their pasta dishes which is a mostaccioli bait with two meatballs and strangely as a side I ordered nachos which is more Mexican than Italian-American. A can fountain drink and one of their famous fried those which is like a cinnamon bread. They had a dress that was going to take 20 to 30 minutes to make. Well after tasting experiencing the mostaccioli with baked cheese and meatballs it was decently okay. You sure got a lot for 10 plus dollars. The famous fried dough was also delicious however the nachos I ordered was so so meh ok. I say this because they give you a lot of nachos but the cheese that they gave you is very little and the nachos have no exciting aftertaste despite being full of sodium. This place kind of reminds me of Sbarro's even though it's not at the mall. My neighbor who works here as a delivery driver mentioned about this place and I will probably come again for the pizza because I discovered they had more than just pizza especially Mexican nachos which is not that great. 3 stars mostacholi was decent with the meatballs and they're famous fried dough was actually pretty delicious despite eating a lot of carbs but the nachos I made a mistake thinking I would get a lot of cheese with the nachos

I love their pizza especially the thin, thin crust. Not sure what happened to their fries, always overcooked and dark.

Located in The Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago, Di Nico's Pizza is a pizzeria with above average thin-crust pizza. 4 out of 5 stars.

As soon as I walked in, I saw so many goodies I knew I was taking home. They had a very well curated selection of fancy condiments from small makers, rare ingredients, and the highest quality version of many every day foods! Everyone behind the counter was so friendly and knowledgeable. I had to try one of their sandwiches and got the salmon po boy at their recommendation. It was really well seasoned and super fresh with a very generous slice of fish on it. Definitely coming back for another one next time I'm in the area! Carnivore in Oak Park…read more This is a butcher shop and fish market that also sells sandwiches I can't really decide if the old time decor is by design or if the place is really needing an upgrade. I actually think it's the latter. It's a lot smaller than I imagined with very limited seating. We went here for the grilled salmon sandwich. We had seen many online reviews saying it is amazing. They make the sandwiches right in front of you, so you know that they are fresh. We took our sandwiches to go and by the time we got them home , they were cold. The fries traveled well, but again they were also cold bu the time we got home. The grilled salmon sandwiches were very good, but not great , and I really would have loved to have eaten it warm. Prices are on the high side for the butcher meats. But I guess you should expect that since they are an artisanal butcher. I did not like the look of some of the meats in the cases. Would we go back? Maybe to try the Bacon Burger. But we would definitely recommend eating your food in the butcher shop and not taking it to go. I have just found out that that are moving into Carnival Grocery in Oak Park.

I tried an onion, everything, and jalapeño cheddar and I loved all three. I highly recommend any of the breakfast bagel sandwiches. My boyfriend got the Avocado Turkey breakfast sandwich (not shown) and I got the Lox breakfast sandwich. The sandwiches are actually filled with food rather than just a few thin slices. My boyfriend and I split the liver plate and it was amazing. I find it hard to find great liver and this place has some! If you like liverwurst you will like this plate. We got it with an onion bagel. We got bagel chips while we waited and sipped on coffee and looking back I wish I grabbed a few extra bagels to go to try more of the variety they had since the assorted chips were so good. The staff was amazing; being warm and welcoming like we had been going there for years. The interior was beautiful and made you feel at home. What really makes this place stand out for me is the variety. Sometimes when looking for vegan food, the options can feel pretty limited to fried foods, burgers, wings, etc, but here, you can find more prepared meals, pastas, soups, salads, plus the desserts are a DREAM. Absolutely outstanding! GOTTA BE BACK SOON!

Markedly below average food. Ordered the rainbow rolls, Grace's teriyaki, Burmese noodle salad, and…read morethe green tea cheesecake. Adequate service and totally unremarkable ambiance. The rainbow rolls consisted of plain, uncooked vegetables wrapped in rice paper, accompanied by peanut sauce as well as a vinegar dip. There was absolutely no taste to the rainbow rolls, and the peanut sauce tasted like peanut butter that had been microwaved for twenty seconds. The vinegar dip was the only thing that salvaged the rolls. The teriyaki did not come as advertised. There were chunks of glazed soy in brown rice - no other veggies in the bowl itself. There was a side salad that I dumped into the bowl to add some crunch and texture. The glazed soy was tasty but the rice was remarkably bland and mushy. This regime of blandness continued with the Burmese noodle salad: some of the flavours had potential and the dish might have been tastier if those flavours were accentuated, but instead it was a bowl of noodles and assorted vegetables with no compelling taste or texture. The cheesecake was both too sweet and remarkably bitter at the same time. It was fine texturally but the sweetness was overwhelming. The layer of tea on top of the cheesecake added some bitterness. The two flavours were totally incongruous. I have never wasted dessert before - if I can't finish it I take it home, but this dessert was so inedible that even at nine dollars it was not worth salvaging. Service was fine and the food came out quickly. The location of the restaurant in downtown Oak Park was nice - there was some sort of music festival going on outside that made an otherwise aggressively mediocre meal more bearable. Overall, I do not recommend this establishment.
