I could go into detail about how fresh the juices and sushi are; how savory the Mighty Greens and buffalo cauliflower are; how flavorful the Asian and Caesar salads are; or how filling the vegan breakfast sandwiches and burritos are--but it would take all day. Their vegan ranch, pizza dough bread, and chocolate chip cookies are exceptionally good, and don't even get me started on all the tofu dishes and those sweet potato wedges. What also deserves mentioning is the staff. They're consistently helpful and knowledgeable and somehow never seem frazzled by the throngs of customers and orders coming at them. I also appreciate seeing the owners actually being hands-on at the various locations. If I have complaints, they're minor. Customers filming social content in the middle of an already packed store can be maddening. And if Erewhon is going to have employees routinely ask customers to buy a $200 membership, you'd think they could at least throw in an Erewhon tote bag! Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's crowded. And after all these years, I still love shopping here.

Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Beverly Hills location was extremely disappointing and upsetting. I parked in the Whole Foods parking lot, went inside, did my shopping, and kept my receipt. After shopping, I sat outside in the Whole Foods/building seating area for about 10 minutes to enjoy the watermelon I had just purchased. I did not leave the property or go anywhere else. When I came back, the parking attendant started arguing with me and told me they had marked my car and could tow it. I explained that I was a Whole Foods customer, showed my receipt, and told him I was only outside for a few minutes enjoying food I purchased from the store. He still told me that next time I cannot park there after shopping and sit outside, and that I should move my car. This is not how loyal customers should be treated. If a customer buys food from Whole Foods and sits outside in the seating area for 10 minutes to eat it, they should not be threatened with towing. I felt unwelcome and disrespected. Because of this experience, I will no longer shop at this Whole Foods location. I will choose another store where customers are treated with respect and kindness. I will also share this experience with my friends and family so they know what happened. Very disappointing customer service and parking management.

The only reason I go to this store is because I work right next door. If I didn't work next door I would never go to this store. 1st the prices are outrages, you will pay about 2 dollars more for a item here then any other store. Then the Wife and Husband that work here are so racist. When someone Black walks in, they think they're going to steal something. If someone white walk in they are like "Hiiiiii How are you" but if you're black and you walk in this store you can say Hiiiii and they will barley speak to you and just give you the hurry up and buy look. read more

New owners were super cool and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of everything I need and I'm glad that I can finally start frequenting the neighborhood store. Great wine selection. The only reason I would ever come to this store is because it is relatively close to my house. But the prices are high and the owner is a angry rude man. He has a taser behind the counter. On every bag of chips the owner crosses out the original price the bag has and makes it around 2 dollars more. So is what I got cyclospora from the food bar? probably not I hope! I definitely did not feel well after I ate here. I hadn't eaten anything that day either and felt totally fine. So it was definitely something to look into. I had fried rice, chow mein, and chicken. My dad had the same thing minus the chow mein. The rice and chow mein tasted stale. The chicken was fresh. I'm assuming it could've been the chow mein. I'd also recommend keeping employees up to date on the news and nation wide outbreaks. Also some of your cashiers and workers have really bad energy. I get it's a "miserable job" but it's not our problem as the customer to take it out on.
