What a cute little market this is, located in a tiny mini-mall close to the Overland and National intersection. It is equal parts coffee bar, flower shop, and unique wines/drinks/snacks shop. I would have never known about this spot had my friend who lives within walking distance of this market not had a hankering for a Matcha latte. I got a hazelnut latte with oat milk and it was very nice. The flower bouquets were fresh, pretty and colorful, and I loved looking at all the unique snacks available. It was nice to support a charming small business in this area and I look forward to coming back and getting more snacks the next time I visit my friend! read more

I stopped by during my morning walk with my dog and was very pleasantly surprised. They had a lot of essential items which was nice because it's less tha a 5 minute walk from my apartment. They did hae other unique snacks, drinks, and even a flower bar! What really made the experience enjoyable was the barista! The coffee was also delicious and reasonably priced in my opinion. Five stars for the most gorgeous fresh flowers and bouquets (not the usual pinks/reds/Vons colors) in this area plus Tony's Chocolonely and Stumptown coffee when you need a hit. Expensive market with limited selection, nothing very exciting. Drinks overpriced and mediocre. Much better options in the area. We were also harassed by some guy named Raphael loitering outside the store who told us he would impound our car if we walked nextdoor to get groceries after buying drinks here. Very interesting that Rose Market was a cafe and convenience store all in one. I even saw a lady sitting down while reading her book and enjoying her coffee. It's a very small store that doesn't sell anything like a 7-eleven would have. Man, I seriously don't like writing negative reviews but I must express my dissatisfaction with the new owners of Rose market. Before, it was a friendly spot to pop in for a cup of coffee. The staff were friendly, the ambiance was right. Now...all I get are rude stares and bitter coffee. On my most recent visit, I ordered my coffee and sat at the little bar by the windows. I waited for a bit for my coffee to be made but nothing, which was odd since it wasn't busy at all. I was a little confused but ok, whatever. So I waited another few minutes and another customer walked in, and finally the customer who walked in, asked if the coffee sitting on the counter was mine?? What the? Apparently they don't talk to you here, no communication. So I basically had a bitter and luke warm coffee. That was the last straw. read more

A great little neighborhood market! We stopped by just for the coffee, and their espresso is nice and bold. I would recommend a medium latte for my future visits, but the cappuccino was also tasty for those that prefer a little more of a punch. She claimed they were "too rowdy" and told them to "cut it out!" Not her place to reprimand my kids. My father likes the store but I will not being going back next time I'm in the area. Had I been reviewing their coffee only, I would've given them 3 stars for the watered down pumpkin spice latte. Upon walking in, we didn't get a greeting. I made eye contact with one of the baristas and smiled, but we just got stares back because we interrupted their conversation. Fine, no matter. Maybe they were having an off day. Until another customer came in and they greeted her. Same with another. Whatever, not that big a deal. After exploring the store a bit, we went up to order our drinks. The tall barista with dyed hair took our order. She asked what type of milk I wanted, to which I responded 2%. In an annoyed tone she said, "we have regular milk, oat and almond". What a shame. Got the GodMother sandwich yesterday and ate it so fast couldn't even get a pic. A truly Italian item, large large portion for about $11 and got this CBD drink too that I'll be trying for the first time. Highly recommended "bodega" style store for the people of Palms. Very cute natural foods & beverage market in a neighborhood-y area of Palms/the westside. One of the few locally-owned shops of its kind in Palms so it is nice that it's there. However, beyond being in an upscale area, it's horrifically over-priced. They have a small coffee bar which is intriguing, until the annoyed-looking barista tried to charge me SIXTEEN DOLLARS for two pulls of espresso (about 4 oz of coffee). When I questioned this, she said "well you asked for two double shots, and it's $4 a shot so I don't know what's so hard to understand." Heard loud and clear. Will not be back again. read more

I'm obsessed. Originally I was looking to pick up some waters for a luncheon and I saw Rose market. I pulled in the parking lot and discovered the cutest freaking European vegan option deliciousness store in the middle of LA!!!! They have wine, they have van Leuven ice cream n jenis n there's fresh baked goods!!$ I honestly I just want to live in the store for like a day and eat n drink my way through it! there are so many unique products in here you could really spend like an hour or two just digging through it and it's a small store. I would love to live next to the store I would go there all the time just to feel Parisian. The guy working was super nice too! This is dope little market. Just moved in around the corner, and to have a market that has such an AMAZING craft beer selection is a dreammmmm. They have a nice coffee bar as well, I've tried the nitro cold brew and it had me flyin'. OOOOOFFFFFF There are two things I am a stickler for: coffee and beer. And this place passes the test. They also have an amazing selection of wine. Unfortunately I'm not that cultured, but hey the owner seem nice so here is hoping they help a brother out to learn. They when had bread crumbs! Hahaha very happy with this joint. Looking forward to making this 5 star after a few more visits. The pictures of this place in previous reviews show so much cheese. Like a wide huge selection of cheese. Sad to say I couldn't find this honeypot of cheese. Sigh, could go for a nice wide selection of cheese. Anyway, tons of great goodies here. Craft cookies, classy bottles of wine, craft coffee and such. Just feels pricey, I don't think I'd come here for any of the above though unless my car broke down and I was dying for a bag of Tates Bake Shop cookies or something. Best part: Craft Beer. This little market is great! The coffee here is ALOT better than the corporate coffeehouses like Starbucks. My favorite is the bediun which is a latte with a little cardamom on it. The pastry are delicious. The wine selection and snack selection a little on the high-end but this is not your run-of-the-mill liquor store. Feel so lucky to have this place right in the neighborhood! :) First off, the owner is so sweet and helpful, as is all the staff. Second, the beer and wine selection is PERFECT - plenty to choose from in all prices ranges, but not such a massive selection it's hard to pick. I can always get in and out in a few minutes no problem. And let's not forget the food and coffee... their snack selection is awesome, handmade sandwiches are BOMB (I love the turkey & swiss, and the mozzarella and prosciutto is to die for!), and the coffee is always perfect.
