Yelp friends. DO NOT USE TELEFLORA. And do NOT use Fran's Flowers. I spoke to Hanh today on the phone, the owner of Fran's Flowers in SeaTac and she was unprofessional. She blamed Teleflora for her shop's sub-par floral service, citing that they take too much money out of the order for commission. I ordered a 10-stalk Lucky Bamboo from Teleflora (a nightmare story for another day) and what arrived to my dad's office was a 4-stalk gangly looking thing. 1. I paid $70 for FOUR stalks of bamboo? Seriously? Trader Joe's has a 3-stalk in a great vase for $9.95... 2. 4 is an UNLUCKY number in Eastern traditions...defeating the entire purpose of "lucky bamboo" Fran refused to make the situation right and blamed Teleflora's shady business practices and told me that she felt bad for me, but wasn't willing to do anything because it would cost her in the end. Uh...why in the world has she agreed to a contract with Teleflora then?? When I brought up false advertising, she said that I should never order flowers online. Um...? Teleflora told me that they aren't responsible for what the florist's end product looks like. They refunded my shipping costs, but told me that I'd have to take up the matter with the local florist and gave me her number and told me that they could do nothing more. In an age where flower delivery is passe, I'm disappointed that I can't trust a florist unless I go to the florist myself and pick it out and then deliver it myself. Obviously not ideal if you don't live in the same city as the recipient. Very disappointed. read more

Fran's Flowers left an arrangement on my back porch, when they knew I had chickens. It was destroyed. When I called to complain, the person I spoke to refused to discuss the matter - said they didn't care since the flowers were already paid for - and called me "honey". Highly unprofessional. read more

We went to Fran's Flower shop was his morning to order and have sent out of state a Sucullent plant arrangement . She instead gave me flower shop phone numbers to call myself and order. She didn't want to be bothered with it. That is close to $100.00 they lost out in. Very rude. I don't recommend there shop to anyone! read more

Well I think that Fran's is great. My husband sends their flowers to me all the time. The selection of flowers is beautiful. When I bring them home my husband is always happy with the arrangement. I have also received balloons and chocolates :) read more

I ordered Flowers from 1-800-Flowers and they hired Fran's Flowers to create the "Santa Paws" arrangement. I chose this specific arrangement because my dear cousin just lost her adorable dog and the Santa Paws looked just like her. My cousin was touched to receive the flowers (sent to her place of employment) and shared a photo on Facebook. I was so upset - you couldn't even tell it was supposed to be a dog. The flowers were a darker red and didn't look Christmassy at all. It was a real "bait and switch". I complained to 1-800-Flowers - and Fran's Florist called my cousin at work and verbally abused her!!! He kept yelling "I don't sell photos, flowers are flowers!" Then he told her to leave the flowers at the hotel front desk and he would come get them. I asked him if he was bring another arrangement and he yelled "NO!" He had told her he was not going to get paid because I complained, so he wanted the flowers back! Nice! I've had a lot of mediocre bouquets, but the one I got last week from here was really done well!

I've ordered for Fran's Flowers at least 6 times. I'm very picky about my flowers. I expect them to look as good (if not better) than the picture online. I've consistently found that Fran's creates beautiful flowers, arrangement and bouquets. I always receive compliments about how nice they are. Best of all, most of my orders are placed early morning for same-day delivery, and not once has Fran's let me down by not delivering on time. read more

The flowers I received did not look fresh and the lilies never opened. I think the flowers were left outside in the cold and wind for hours too. I phoned the store and left a message this morning with no return phone call. My mother who sent the flowers (and lives in AZ) would be mortified at the very poor quality of the arrangement. Just received the loveliest bouquet from Fran's Flowers--they are so beautiful (white lilies and white roses along with greenery). The flowers are really fresh (some still opening, so I feel like the bouquet will last a long time) and presented in such a nice way! I've told my husband to definitely use them again. TERRIBLE!!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would. My husband ordered flowers to be delivered at my work. The flowers never came. He called them multiple times to check on it, but they did not answer their phone and their voicemail was full so you couldn't leave a message (though I doubt they would have returned the call). I stopped in after work to ask about it and met another woman in line that had the same problem (she didn't get her flowers either)! Horrible customer service. I ordered through 1800 flowers and I contacted the shop afterwards to give them some information on the delivery and they freaked out on me to call 1800 flowers. I personally wanted confirmation from them that they received my request. I paid $60 for 6 balloons, that's right, $60 for 6 balloons. All I wanted them to do was deliver the balloons within 4 hours, literally across the street from their shop and to specifically give it to a certain girl at the hotel so she could make sure it got in my husbands hotel room. They continued to scream at me that they would do their best (I don't think what I was asking was unreasonable or difficult to just say yes to) and to call 1800 flowers for requests, which I had already done, I just also wanted communication between the flower shop and I as well. At the end of the day, aren't they the ones delivering the service for me? They even hung up on me, and when I called back to speak with the owner, she was unapologetic on how her employee treated me. I am not sure how places like this stay in business when they treat their customers so poorly. I absolutely hate when business' assume that they are doing YOU the favor. No, in fact, I believe I was completely ripped off paying $60 for 6 balloons but I was fine with it because it was the sentiment the balloons brought that I was paying for. I will 100% be contacting 1800 flowers for a full refund, and in the future I will never be using sites like this again. Complete nightmare. read more
